By charging during the day! The #1 EV priority by the DOE is to promote daytime charging-at-work. Anyone who looks at the trends can see that Day is the new night as far as low cost energy will be concerned.
And regarding the end game.... we wont get there then unless we halt the growing CO2 emissions NOW.
