Yes, I really like this suggestion. I also have another interesting magic power to give this boss skull. First, we can assume that this boss skull would have certain enchanted powers that the other skulls don't have. One cool one is rather than roll across the floor like all the other skulls Montezuma's boss skull would float in the air. That means you may have to jump up and attack with your sword to hit him. Since he is an airborn target it might be able to move fast, and pass over your head.
