I did, and couldn't get Recovered Files. I ran Adium and then Quit from it. There were no Growl messages doing that. I ran TinyAlarm, and got the alarm message. I ran Gee and got "New email" message. I ran Firefox and used the "Clear Cache" button, and got a message. I then restarted my computer... no Recovered Files. I did the following: Looked at Growl, unchecked the box, went to Show All, looked at Account's Login Items (no change), when to Show All, looked at Growl and rechecked the box, went to Show All, looked at Account's Login Items (still no change). Maybe that's part of the confusion I'm experiencing.
