That's not the answer Geordie :)
FIA fucked up a few years ago when they introduced the grooved tyres. It did
achieve one of their objectives which was to remove some control from the drivers.
You do see them getting a bit sideways occasionally (supposedly adds to excitement)
but FIA forgot that they are the best drivers in the world! :) But it also made
passing very difficult. Thus making the racing a little boring and placing too
much emphasis on pitstops.
What they need is more tyre grip and less aerodynamic grip.
