But they are gone from the server BEFORE the Trash Bin is 
emptied, right?  

In other words, I have the message in my inbox and my server,
when I delete the message to the trash bin, it is removed from 
the server and is no longer appearing in the Inbox, but is still 
in the Trash Bin.
