after reading this message, I must *really* be *totally* wrong!
I know only one possibility to delete messages for POP accounts:
- open a folder of a pop accoung
- mark a mail
- press the "Delete"-button or Edit | Delete Message
and after I do these steps, I can't see the message in this folder
anymore, but I can see it in the Trash and eventually move the mail back
to its original or another folder.
For this action it is a logic consequence that the message text is
deleted from my trash mail-file as well as from the original mail
folder-file, if I empty my trash.
But if I understood you correctly now, there is another possibilty:
the possibility to _mark a message as deleted_! I didn't know this and so
I thought, you are wrong. <no sarcasm!> But apparently I used mozilla 15
month without knowing this feature... and since I still dunno how to
mark a message as deleted, explain me how to do this, please. </no sarcasm!>
