I don't want to work in solo mode forever. That's a short-term solution I was
forced to choose when Kirkby dismissed me in some manner (even if he stated
"That's not I want to dismiss you, but ..."), or something like that. Sorry
folks, but you don't have all the history to understand, but trust me, I felt my
few days contributing to chessDB not funny. And one day I received a mail from
Kirkby I felt insulting, and started immediately Scid-pg.
The best situation for me is someone (anybody motivated) continuing Scid
development and myself acting as a contributor. I acknowledge that, in general,
the more developpers, the better.

Well, I don't think what I did with Scid's source will not lead to a "success
story" (at least if I look the encouraging mails I receive; in fact some mails
are so kind, I supect my mother sending them). I did not compare chessDB to my
own version of Scid, but what I know is that I use a lot what I added into Scid.
If I had continued with chessDB I would not have been able to work at this pace
and having fun doing it.
