Hello! First about the popups: I think in 1.5.x, if they don't appear it's a bug in the rendering code in fact because the math mode does not detect the cursor correctly going into the macro. The behaviour that macros popup was the starting point for me to think about redoing the LyX

When I try to open example lyx files posted on this list, I get a conversion script failure: "filename.lyz is from an earlier version of lyx, but the lyx2lyx script failed to convert it" I'm running LyX 1.4.1. Must I upgrade to 1.5? Bruce

I have just installed 1.5.2 on WINXPpro and trying to export my lyx doc as an OpenOffice doc file appears to do nothing. Some older messages here suggest that with earlier version you needed to change the export extension to odt (in preferences) but that is correct in this latest version.

Is there still anybody who has problems posting? The problem was that one of the spam blacklists (the most wellknown) stopped working, and my server was trying to connect to it whenever an email arrived. This completely tied down the server. I am administering 8 computers here, and I fixed this

I solved my problem with the margins with lyx documentI wrote BCOR30mm in the Option of document settings to raise the right margin in the even pages, so binding is good. Thanks Pietro
