Hi Patricia,
I would try serrapeptase .  It's suppose to be helpful for inflammation as well
as scaring.  LDN for is also something you might want to look into.  It's so
helpful for a multiple of issues.  And lip-c for immunity boost as well as any

Victor,
The Beck protocol has it's place, but it is not a cure all as is so often
claimed.   I have CFS and used the Beck protocol correctly and continually, but
it was not  a cure.
I've noticed the lists that use to be so active have just about died out.  It
was a good run while it lasted, but, like I said, it's limited.  I think it's
great for some issues, just not all.
btw, I also feel the same about CS.  More often than not, it takes a
combination of things to regain health, diet and supplements being at the
forefront, imo.

CS is one of its four parts, and I have mentioned this protocol before, as I

I must have missed your post about making the 200ppm CS yesterday.  I probably
just didn't see it as I seldom read each and ever post especially when things
get busy.   But my question is, why?  What does one do with such a high ppm CS?
Is it better, as in more efficient, than the CS we usually make?
Collective wisdom :)  Wisdom is different than knowledge.  Wisdom is knowing
what to do with the knowledge you have.   For me, I have to keep things simple.
People with cfs, Lyme, fibro all experience brain fog.  Some days are better
than others, but as the saying goes, of all the things I miss, I miss my mind
the most.  And I so admire when I see a good brain working, but I doubt if I
will ever be able to keep up.  Still it's a pleasure to watch.
There once was a woman (I think she was on this list) that made the comment she
didn't understand all the technical stuff about CS, the different ppm or much
of anything, but all she knew was the sovereign silver (I think that was the
brand but not sure) worked better for her and gave her back her life.  I can't
remember what she was treating tho.  I think it was Lyme.  We were talking
about the different prices.   I understood completely about not understanding.
chuckle  For me the extent of my expertise is a good quality distilled water,
silver, current; cook till done, drink.  And that works for me.
There are archives for the list, but I don't know if they go back 10 years.
People could search them and perhaps find more information if so inclined.
I've noticed some posts don't make it to the archives tho.  Some posts don't
make it through email to me either.  Speaking of Uncle Ben, his posts, for some
reason, never came through to my email.  I only saw them in the archives.  The
problem with the archive, tho, is you can't reply from there.   The posts not
showing up, people not getting a response, or, for some, the lack of wisdom
seems to be the greatest complaints.  I never understood why some posts go
through and why others don't either, but if going to another forum will help,
great.  I don't understand why it use to work and now it's not either.
Anyway, if this goes through, I hope you will answer my question about the 200
ppm CS.

Sadly the 'collective wisdom' of this community is significantly less than it
was 10 years ago. So much knowledge has passed through this forum, never to be
seen again, that it is truly tragic. A couple of days ago I posted a message
claiming I had discovered how to make crystal clear 200 ppm CS that was 50%
ionic and 50% colloidal with particles smaller than Mesosilver. 10 years ago
this would have brought a storm of questions, skepticism and ridicule. Today it
passed without comment by anyone except Jason. Earlier in the week Floyd
couldn't even get an answer to some pretty simple questions about his basic
system. (My answer never appeared). More time has been spent discussing why he
didnt get an answer than actually answering him.

Anyway Mike, good luck with the search for a new format but I think you are
barking up the wrong tree. Despite not having an email digest vBulletin is a
proven success and has all the features you really need (including pictures!).
You already have a license so why not give it a try as a parallel forum? If you

So do you add a drop to every time you take the CS or just a drop of it to the

 Hi Rick:

You can get a very similar effect by combing just a bit of H2O2 to
colloidal silver just prior to consuming it. Since the H2O2 is quite a
bit less reactive than ozone, the oxidation effect can last quite a bit
longer.

Remember, you can power a race car by oxidizing silver particles with
oxygen.

The ozone/h2o2 atomizes some silver particles, while oxidizing others
(the oxidized particles eventually drop out of suspension).  You get a
very wide range of interesting silver/oxygen species.

Using too much reactive oxygen will eventually result in the
elimination of all silver particles in solution.

When you add a drop of H2O2 and your home brew EIS turns brown, it means
you have a very poor end product (relatively speaking) too many
sparklies or large particles.  I check every batch of EIS I make with
H2O2.

Usually, a bad batch means I didn't clean the electrodes well enough
before brewing, or the container/distilled water wasn't as pure as I'd like.

Hi Jason group,
In the early years of MMS we all seemed to jump on the bandwagon.   Those of us
on various health/alternative lists I'm on anyway and we shared our experience.
Remember Daddybob, he was a regular of many lists I visit.  Anyway his
personality is the type to jump in and as he often said, 'get er done'  He
started having heart issues, and sorry I can't remember what they were, but he
attributed them to his MMS use.  Others wrote in complaining about heart
palpitation after starting the MMS as well.  It is something to be aware of
that is due attention.
There was a guy on the MMS list I was on that differed with Jim about the
chemistry.   He did believe in the use of MMS but at a different concentration.
I think that was his main difference.  It's been years since this this
happened so might not remember exactly how he differed.   Anyway, some of the
members on the list that were involved with the church were so rude to him.
One guy even called him a pharmaceutical whore.   Sorry for the language but
wanted to give the direct quote.  Whether  this man was a pharmaceutical rep or
not, I do not know, but his behavior came across as professional and polite,
while the church members were blatantly rude, which was a real turn off to me.

I really know nothing about chemistry and certainly am not a pharm rep, just a
person with a chronic illness trying to recover.   But I do know if you have a
viable, good product, it will sale itself.  One does not have to use ill manner
tactics to make a sale.
I have also notice when someone does speak out with a different opinion
regarding the safety, effectiveness, or Jim himself, they are not received
graciously.  Not everybody frequenting these lists that speak out against it
are working for the enemy, which is usually the church response.   In fact, I
think most of us here are people trying to find answers for our health
problems, the majority are anyway.   And then some are also in some form of
alternative business promoting their business.
Regarding Jim and his business:   Anybody who is in an alternative field must
abide by the law of the land.  People have been put in jail that I personally
don't think deserve to go to jail.   For their own protection, they better
abide by the law or get out.
Speaking as a customer of many different alternative protocols, I want to have
the freedom to be able to try anything that I think might benefit me.  I think
if people would present their product with plain old manners and stop the
bickering, it would go a long way and we might be able to reach an educated
decision much sooner.

Then, of course, he changed his protocols, which are now much safer.

In my opinion, ozone is more effective and certainly safer because the
exact concentrations that the body can safely tolerate are well
established by extensive research.

(if it's really cold) to 97.5, but no higher.  My blood work always says my
thyroid is 'normal', but still I wonder.  I have 3 sisters all on thyroid
medication but their blood works shows they need it.  I've always wanted to
have the opportunity to get my hands on something to threat my thyroid.  I've
tried iodine, but it didn't seem to do anything.  I've also tried  glandular
thyroid, which didn't seem to do anything either.   Maybe I don't have thyroid
issues; I just don't know.

Hi CJ,

My grandson had the same problem.  Proactive worked well for him.   My daughter
also uses it and it worked great.

However, I read on the borax list, borax works great for it as well.
Especially when they get acne on their back.  My grandson's acne is gone now
but he still gets it on back from playing basketball and sweating so much.  I
gave him some borax and he said it worked really well.

My daughter use to sunbath a lot until she came down with skin cancer, so now
she goes to the dermatologist and gets treatments, skin peals and such.  He
skin looks really healthy now.  She also uses proactive.

So if you have the money or insurance covers it, a dermatologist does work
really well as does proactive.  But is money is an issue, the 20 mule team
borax works just as well.   I love the way it makes my skin feel.   Of course,
at 64 I don't have acne, but it sure cleans out the pores and leaves my skin
silky smooth.  Can also mix with your shampoo and leave your hair silky clean.

Hi PT,

You can type in 'borax dosage' in the search bar on earthclinic and that will
eventually take you to the dose or go to
www.health-science-spirit.com/borax.htm.

The standard dose is a rounded tsp. of borax in a litter of distilled water.
From this you only take 1 tsp of the water/borax solution.

Another way that is commonly used it to simple dip your pinkie finger into
borax up to the first joint and then lick off.

You also asked how I take it.  For a face cleanser, I have a small container of
borax in my shower which I dip my finger tips into and sprinkle it onto a wet
washrag.  Then I dribble a little more water onto the washrag and scrub my face.

If I want to use it in my shampoo, I simple sprinkle a little in with my
shampoo and wash my hair.

Boron which is what Borax is (Ted on earthclinic said he watch them literally
take the boron from borax when making a boron supplement) is needed for calcium
uptake and healthy bones.  U can get a boron supplement in pill form if one
prefers.

Of course vitamin D.   I think most people are low in it and not even aware.

DE is also suppose to be good for bone health as well as MSM for joints.  One
guy said he healed his sciatic nerve back problem by taking high doses of MSM.

I take a little of all of them.

I think we might be getting the terminology confused perhaps?  Sota's silver
pulser is their blood electrification unit which can also make CS.  It does
both.  Blood electrification is also known to increase the ATP, I've heard by
as much as 500%.  How true that is I don't know, but do know it does increase
my energy when using it, for whatever that's worth.  I've never heard of it
damaging the blood even with continued use.

Sota's magnetic pulser is a completely different unit.

the Beck device, which this IS, is supposed to kill microbes that pass through

what it can do to blood is damage it if used too much.
read into the history of the Beck Protocol and Sota Instruments and believe

I've noticed though that little bit of RAW goat milk is fine guess it has

I cannot live without this supplement -- with fibromyalgia, Hashimoto's disease

skipped 1 1/2 month with out it and I was like crippled, literally and I'm only

CSMissing post regard tooth infection

2008-04-29 Thread Gail Naranjo

From: Dianne France dianne_fra...@hotmail.com
 To: silver-list@eskimo.com
Subject: Re: CSdaughters infected wisdom tooth

Our son has also been dealing with an abscess tooth
and finally went to the dentist and they were very
concerned due to the extent of the infection that
showed on x-rays. They put him on antibiotics and
gave him some pain medication and hopefully it will
 start killing the infection quickly.

He is also in the middle of moving and when he went
to turn his keys into his old apartment the
apartment manager told him about a man that lived in
the complex that they found dead. He also had an
abscessed tooth and the infection went into his
brain and evidently killed him. He died alone in
 his apartment.

 Dianne

Hi Dianne, group, Mike,

A few days ago I responded to the subject of infected
teeth and the dangers of the possibility of it going
to the brain or closing the windpipe causing death. I
never saw my post come through, but there was a
response to it.

My question is did my original post just not go
through on my computer since it appeared some received
it in order for them to respond to it, or did Mike
block it not allowing it to go through.

I just wanted to know because it seems like I read
somewhere (thought it was this list rules) where they
wanted to keep things on the alternative medicines
instead of allopathy. Thought maybe because I was
stating my opinion of the importance of antibiotics,
it might not have been subject approved??? Just
wanting to know if that was an ok post or if I should
stay away for talking about traditional medicine.

This really is important about the tooth infection,
imo, because it can (I doubt if many people even know
this) lead to death if left untreated. Many
althernative people wouldn't be caught dead using an
antibiotic, but sometimes they might just end up that
way.

Anyway, what did happen to my post? It never came
through on my end. I'm on digest. Don't know if that
would have anything to do with it or not. Wouldn't
think so.

Cs/DMSO how much of 70%DMSO should be diluted with
CS? I will be with her in

and is in so much pain she
has no energy to search around. If all she has is
 straight CS will that do
locally? or would 2 drops of Oregano oil be better.
 I'm telling her to take
probioitcs too when taking the antibiotics for the
first time in her life but she
is discrediting anything I'm saying right now
 because nothings worked. The
extraction is scheduled in 2 weeks when she's home
so it's crucial to rid the
infection and keep the are clean. I called her
 dentist for the prescription and
he said I told you so. He believes everyone should
 have wisdom teeth removed
because we are not like the caveman anymore.I have 4
 kids with wisdom teeth and
more coming up. They all have some crowding but I
 can't afford $16,000 on
removing 16 wisdoms. He says these problems will
come up again but I feel we need
to deal with a problem when it happens instead. Just
 trying to do my best.
 Thanks. Georgia

Georgia,

Several things are going on here. One, your daughter
is young and really doesn't have a lot of experience
with caring for herself. Probably is use to Mom
caring for her, plus the young often think there are
indispensable. But when infection comes, so does pain
and fever making it very hard to make a good decision.
At the same time, everybody has the desire to survive
and will do whatever it takes.

So when does one decide to do the alternative vrs. the
antibiotic. For one thing, it often takes a lot of
vigilance with alternative methods. They work, but
sometimes takes longer and round the clock
application. IF THE INFECTION IS SPREADING FASTER
THAN THE PERSON CAN ADDRESS IT WITH OTHER METHODS,
then an antibiotic is the better route, imo.

Your daughter has a serious condition. It can get
very serious. As I mentioned on another list, if the
infection is in the lower jaw, it can spread to the
throat causing the windpipe to swell leading to death.
If in the upper jaw, it can go into the sinuses and
brain. You already mentioned a cyst from it. It can
cause jaw bone loss. This is serious and I believe
your daughter knows that. I would trust your daughter
in her desire to have the antibiotic. It is the
infection that is the enemy, not the drug.

The problem with wisdom teeth is that there is usually
not enough room for them. That plus people usually
don't clean as thoroughly as they should which then
leads to bacteria causing infection. If your children
will brush and floss deligantly, then they can prevent
future problems even with the crowding. However, most
aren't as thorough as they should be, especially the
very young.

CSAgain calcium/mag ratio/ Pat?

2008-04-19 Thread Gail Naranjo
  Date: Fri, 18 Apr 2008 20:02:44 -0700 (PDT)
 From: Pat Lane planeproducti...@yahoo.com

 Connie,

Magnesium is better for sleeping than calcium. You
are taking way more calcium than is recommended.
This can cause calcifying of your soft tissues. You
may need to do transdermal magnesium to get an
adequate dose as oral magnesium has a laxative
 effect in larger quantities.

Pat,

Connie said she was taking 1000mg each of calcium and
magnesium. You say this is way too much calcium. How
much calcium would you suggest along with magnesium?

Thanks,

Gail

CSSubclinical Hypothyrodism

2008-04-18 Thread Gail Naranjo

 From: craehow...@juno.com craehow...@juno.com
 To: silver-list@eskimo.com
 Subject: CSQUESTION; Treatment for Subclinical
 Hypothyrodism

Yesterday I received results of bloodwork and was
told that I have Subclinical Hypothyrodism. I
immediately went on line to find out what that
meant. After reading all the symptoms I do have
100% of them and have for the last 2 years. I most
surprised that my VA doctor did not find this. They
have been telling me that my levels were fine.
In reading the meds that that use I could not find
anything really useful. They say the used to use
animal ground up thyroid but that the potency was
not stable; and that the synthesized would do the
job better. That is about all the info I could
 gather.
Do anyone have this condition or info that might
 help.
 thanks in advance

 connie

 Hi Connie,

Sometimes a sluggish thyroid won't show up in blood
work. Might be when you VA doctor tested (if he did
test), it didn't show up then.

A self-test is sometimes suggested where you take your
temperture first thing in the morning before getting
out of bed. If it is below 97.6, it might indicate an
underactive thyroid. Keep a log to get a better idea.
If your morning temp. is 96 then 3-4 grains of Armour
thyroid extract is suggested. If 97, one should take
1-2 grains. (This information is from Prescription
for Natural Healing by Dr. James F. Balch.

From everything I've read on the subject, synthetic
hormones are just not as effective as the Armour (raw
thyroid glandular). People will often say they were
on the synthetic but didn't really improve until they
went on the Armour. Might mention this to your
doctor.

On a side note from Dr. Balch's book, A study done
at the University of Massachusetts reveals that
levothyroxine, a drug commonly used to treat thyroid
conditions, causes up to 13 percent bone loss. An
estimated 19 million people take this drug for an
overactive thyroid, enlarged thyroid, and thyroid
cancer.

Suggested supplements are:
L-Tyrosine (low plasma levels have been associated
with a hypothyroid.)
Sea kelp (get some form of iodine)
Raw thyroid glandular
B comlex, vitamin A, C, E zinc.

Avoid fluoride. Chlorine, fluoride, and iodine are
chemicaly related. Chlorine and fluoride block iodine
receptors in the thyroid gland, resulting in reduced
iodine-containing hormone production and finally in
hypothyroidism.

While Vitamin A excess is a genuine
consideration, I relate an incident which occurred
at John Sealy Hospital circa 1962. An M.D. named
Alberto Serrano and associates were treating a group
of Type I diabetic children using very large doses of
vitamin A as part of their protocol. The procedure
involved administering 75,000 to 100,000 units daily
for 7 days and then suspending
Vitamin A use for 14 days (for reducing Vitamin A

Hi Brooks,

Do you happen to know how taking large amounts of
vitamin A effects diabetes? Exactly what is it
suppose to do? Just curious.

W This statement is Not so Easy to understand.

W You are suggesting the MSM worked with the CS
 somehow.
I wonder how and what it did ?

G ### Well, this is the only 'question' I see you
are actually asking me. I 'think' one of the reasons
MSM is good for lung issues is (it's good even just
taking it without nebulizing. I just notice I can
breathe easier when taking it) because (from what I've
read) MSM is meant to be the third largest ingredient
in all living things and without it you cannot build
the sulfur elastic protein bonds between cells, hence,
wrinkles and emphysema. I'm guessing it's something
to do with helping the elasticity in the cell.

I think you were using a nebulizer. Of course CS
 works alone, and
 maybe MSM works alone also.

### I first heard of the CS/MSM mixture from Daddybob.
Like a little lost puppy, over the years, I've just
followed him around his many alternative trials and
have often copied him. Over the years, he's had a lot
of success with his use of MSM. This was one of those
times. It worked, and I have not had a respiratory
infection in so long that I have not had the need to
try another protocol.

W And I suggest you use it in the nebulizer and
forget
 the MSM.

### Perhaps, if I get another infection. I do have
both the DMSO gel and liquid that I got at the local
feed store.

### Believe it or not, I have also tried it
(DMSO)after, again, Daddybob told of how it help the
stiffness in his body. However, I so do not like the
taste and am simply not all that stiff to want to
endure the taste/smell. But it is nice to know if I
ever do start stiffening up.

And believe it or not, I have used it when I was
trying UT in an retained enema. But no, never have
used it in a nebulizer.

Don't you know, if Brooks says a rooster
 can pull a wagon,
 .. then
 Hitch Him UP !

### Can't say that I did know that about Brooks. :)
Will certainly keep his/your suggestions in my 'things
to try' folder.

Finally, check the price of DMSO in Canada and other
 counties of the world.
I think a few countries have virtually BANNED DMSO.

Get your 5 Gallons today. grin

### Well, it's not banned in my neck of the woods.
It's common for animal use here.

### 5 gallons, eh? My, that's a whole lot of the
stuff.

adjunct to Colloidal Silver.

Hi Brooks,

It's not that MSM is the 'preferred' adjunct to CS for
me. It's just that that is all I've used. Have heard
of the benefits of DMSO but I've never tried it, so
could not comment from any personal experience. It
was just hearsay on my part regarding the DMSO.

CSCS for baby/ ANY chance of getting folks to trim posts?

2008-04-08 Thread Gail Naranjo

From: Hanneke bloss...@aapt.net.au
When asking further about what else he knew he added
 that the baby is
 breast fed.

Hanneke, After learning the baby is breast fed thought
I might mention (incase the mother doesn't know) any
food the mom eats can effect the babies tummy. So if
she has a fancy for spicy food or any gass producting
food even tomatoes, she might want to cut those out.
First time moms (don't know if she is or not) don't
always know this and will eat whatever they want not
knowing it can upset the babies stomach.

Just curious when you say 'gastro', what exactly are
you talking about? Think there might be some language
barrier here. Are you just talking about gass or a
stomach bug with vomiting, etc.? When you mentioned
dehydration, I thought it might be more than just
gass.

LIST MEMBERS, ANY chance I could beg you to trim

CSHow much CS for baby of 3 months

2008-04-07 Thread Gail Naranjo

 From: Hanneke bloss...@aapt.net.au

I would like some input as to how much CS would be
 suitable for a
little baby who appears to have gastro.
The gastro diagnosis comes from the mum herself. How
 much effect
would CS have on a baby's intestines?

Mum wants to use CS only. She wondered if 2x a
teaspoon of 5ppm would be ok.
Apart from suggesting she keep a very close eye on
 the baby and to
please keep the fluids up, I urged her to see a
 doctor. At least she
might learn what she is dealing with.

 Thanks in advance
 Hanneke

Hanneke,

Ask me a question and I'll give you an answer, but
it's not even answering the question. lol

Have qeustions of my own. Is it just gas or a stomach
bug? If just gas, I would think it might have
something to do with the diet. Is she breast feeding
or bottle? If bottle, if the formula has iron in it,
that will be very hard on baby's tummy. Has she
introucted food to the baby. Should only be rice in
the begining because it's the easiest to digest. Any
recent medications baby is taking. Can cause
constipation.

Can give baby some yogart and also papaya juice. Both
are very helpful for stomach problems even if it's a
bug of some type.

CSNebulizing with CS

2008-04-03 Thread Gail Naranjo

How much CS should I put into the
nebulizer? How many breaths should we take or how
many minutes should we inhale? How many times a
week would this be advised? Would using a mask have
a weaker effect than using a mouthpiece? Shorter
time with a mouthpiece than with a mask? I only
have a mouthpiece. Would it be an invitation to
trouble for us to share the mouthpiece or would the
 silver kill any potential germs?

Hi Patrice,

The standard protocol is: 1oz. CS mixed with 1/4
tsp.-1/2 tsp. MSM. Mix the MSM (great for lungs) in
the oz. of CS; let dissovle, then nebulize. However,
the little cup on my nebulizer will not hold the full
oz., so I just fill the little cup and save the
remaining mixture for another treatmeant later on in
the day.

The standard treatment for respirtory infection is 20
minutes 3 X daily until infection is gone. Could take
a few days or not depending on how severe the
infection is.

I do not have any experience with a mask. However, I
have nephews that have asthma that are very young who
use a mask and it seems to work very well for them.
No personal experience myself. Have only used the
mouthpiece.

I would not want to share the mouthpiece with somebody
else unless first washing and disinfecting it before
they use it after I have. Simple hygiene.

Some have also have good results by mixing a little
DMSO in with the CS. It is usually suggested using a
10% mixture of DMSO with the CS when using DMSO.

Everybody I have talked to or seen use this protocol
has had success.

Hi Mike,

This made me sad. For the above to be a 'daily'
partner in life is so often the case with the
chronically ill.

No matter what the underlining cause is, the one thing
I have found that helps so much is taking raw bovine
adrenals. The subject was discussed on other lists
but I wonder how many even gave it a try. Anybody
with chronic stresses in their life will have some
form of adrenal fatigue. B vitamins (can be liver if
you want), vitamin C, raw bovine adrenals can help
turn a person around. It can take a while but it is
certainly worth trying, imo. Of course, it goes
without saying do the usual with good nutrition,
water, rest exercise.

 Hi Gayla,

I 100% agree. There are so many protocols out there
that claim to cure this and that, but if true, we
would no longer have those illnesses still around.

My thoughts on the water is that it is a good thing
for constipation especially to drink first thing in
the morning. Kind of like flushing out everything
before putting anything else in the colon, and it
really works.

When combined with salt, I have found the minerals in
the salt along with the water does go a long way with
pain issues. Probably because some pain is more from
dehydration so drinking a lot of water would help.
Now will this cure arthritis? Probably not, but if
one is dehydrated along with having arthritis, then it
should help.

he has a beard, didn't you notice? And he was going
 through a divorce,
so his wife was not around. He was taking care of
 his elderly and very
sick parents, so his stress level was very high- who
 looks in the
 mirror then? Not me.

Well, he also said he didn't turn blue until after he
came down with an extreme case of dermatitis due to
the stress of caring for his parents. It was after
they had died that he broke out with the dermatitis.

Ofcourse, I noticed he had a beard so my choice of the
word 'shave' was one I didn't give much thought.
Still I would think he had to have brushed his teeth
and combed his hair while looking in a mirror.

At any rate, I think it wasn't his intention to become
blue. It does look as if he has turned a negative
into a positive by making the most of it. Does seem
like he has accepted it gracefully and perhaps even
with some financial benefits with his public
apperances and all. Can't say as I even blame him.
Seems like a very pleasant fellow. I would so not
want to be blue myself.

CSResponse to Carol Ann a question for the men

2008-02-19 Thread Gail Naranjo

 From: Carol Ann saffiresk...@yahoo.com

Shows such as Oprah's have what are called 'script
writers. There's less likelihood of surprises that
will catch Operah off guard. I'm guessing on what
side of the fence DR. Oz will fall on - if give
 holds
he medical degree in high regard.

Hi Carol Ann all,

Just got the show about the blue man. I think it was
decent but inadequate. I knew Oprah would only be as
informed as her staff informed her, and that there
would be a lack of indepth researching the subject.

Dr. Oz is an ok guy in my book. He truly has devoted
his life to helping people get educated about how they
can have a life of health. He's a good guy, imo.

Question for the men. On the show the blue man said
he didn't turn blue over night and not until he
started putting it on his face. It happened over a
period of 2-3 months and was very gradual. Stated he
didn't even notice it until a friend stopped by who
hadn't seen him in a while and asked what happened to
his face because it was blue. He then looked at
himself in the mirror and noticed he was indeed blue.
Does that even sound normal? My question for the men
is do you guys really wash, shave, etc. daily and not
notice the way you look when looking at yourself in
the mirror? I find it so hard to believe he never
noticed anything in that 2-3 month period of time.

Ok, I'm sure there will be many comments about the
show. Look forward to everybody's posts.

 Subject: Re: CSNon-nutrative sweetner

why would it only be toxic for a dog and not humans?

Xylitol can lower the blood sugar sometimes suddenly.
This is also true with humans. I liked to chew the
gum. Once about lunch time I got a phone call
because it ran long grabbed a couple pieces of gum.
Lunch was delayed and by the time I got off the phone
I was shaking due to the sudden drop in my sugar.
This is usually not a problem as one often uses it for
brushing AFTER eating, etc.

With dogs, the sudden drop in glucose can cause a loss
of coordination and even seizures. But even worse is
there is a strong link between ingesting the xylitol
and liver failure in the animal.

Not a good thing.

 George,

The problem with this list is that there are no
 archives.
Everything has to be redone from scratch.

What do you want to know?

 Dan

Hello Mike, Dan All,

May I ask why you didn't just have the silver list on
yahoo where there would be archives? I've always
wondered and never did understand why not?

No archives is a bummer for people who are seriously
seeking answers to health issues.

Wondering,

Gail

Bob, What does the O stand for in OMD? All these
different letters will often confuse me and I don't
know who/what/where or why about the matter.

I didn't think a medical doctor could prescribe herbs.
 Yes/no?

It does get somewhat more difficult when the word
doctor comes into the picture because then one is
liable and open to being sued, imo.

Just curious,

CSCleaning a nebulizer

2008-01-15 Thread Gail Naranjo
Hello All,

I can't remember who asked the question on how to
clean a nebulizer but all I do is wash the little cup
that you put your mixture of CS/MSM in with dish soap
and water, rinse well. Sometimes I will add a touch
of bleach to the soapy water. The tubbing is harder
to wash. The MSM leaves little white spots on it
where the MSM collected to the side of the tubbing. I
have also tried to wash it in the soapy water and run
water through it, but still can't get all the spots
off. You usually can get more tubbing at a medical
supply store. Some will even just give it to you.

Never watch the machine itself, just the tubbing and
cup.

Farmers lung? Trying to help with a cure as this
gal keeps being hospitalized for a month at a time.
Alopath never took history, just bombards her with
steroids, antibiotics and probably vaccines. Alopath
diagnosis, pneumonia. For years. Home, hospital
,home , hospital. Has horses, does hay. She's only
44 and has crippling MS. From what I could pull up
have suggested to her ,in desperation, 1 teaspoon 10
ppm 3x day in her nebulizer. Just want her well.
 She suffers so.

Vicki,

Many have had success nebulizing with a mixture of
CS?MSM. I don't know why MSM is good for the lungs,
but it is. Also, some have added a little DMSO which
helps carry the product even more so. 1 tsp. of CS is
not enough, I'm thinking. Don't know what kind of
nebulizer she has tho. I've always made a mixture of
about 1 TLBs. of CS to about 1/4 TSP. MSM. Let the
MSM disolve in the CS and then nebulize. I,
personally, have never used DMSO but have hear of
other using a tiny bit with the CS/MSM mixture.

Also, how long is she nebulizing. Should do at least
a 20 minute breathing treatment 3 Xs daily, or longer
if need be.

Have heard some encouraging stories of people having
success with the Budwig diet for MS. Both of you
might want to give that a try.

Take care,

Gail

CSResponds to Nancy, Faith GM

Nancy,

How much of the organa mineral drink to you take
daily? You said you also take magnesium and mentioned
one also needs a chelated multi-mineral, too? How
much of calcium, magnesium, potassium to you take
daily in addition to the mineral drink?

Faith,

I ordered mine from a place called Organa
International out of Utah. You can google it or the
phone # is 1-866-491-9335. They told me it's a little
less if you order it over the phone than on the
internet.

You can also get it from Azure. Google and you will
find a multiple of places. Mayber something will
close to you.

GM,

I love magnesium orotate the best. I really like the
calcium orotate, also. Don't reallly think you can
get anything better than the orotates unless it's an
IV.

CSExceptions

 Subject: Re: CSExceptions

I wonder what accounts for the millions of skeletal
remains wherein they had all their teeth when they
were found.Certainly, they didn't go to their
village dentists for oral hygiene checkups and
 routine xrays.

Hi Carol Ann,

No, I'm sure they probably didn't, but I would be
willing to bet lifestyle also played a big part in the
equation. I seriously doubt they had access to coke
and sweets that we do today. Diet would certainly
play into it as well as personal hygiene?

I will often watch trible life on tv and am most
curious about their eating habits. Very primitive,
etc. No, sweets other than wild honey for them.
Also, no soda pop. They eat whatever they can forge
or hunt. Have often wondered how healthy they are as
it appears they seem to be quite healthy. Still they
so often have bad teeth.

I think of my own grandparents who were hillbillies.
Very healthy till the end of their life, but had bad
teeth. Lifestyle was garndening, working hard but ate
quite a bit of fat and don't forget the moonshine
along with chewing tobacco. Healthy bodies but bad
teeth. chuckle Don't think they frequented the
dentist or the doctor much. I remember my dad
mentioning how it only cost a dollor (can't remember
the exact figure he used, but it was very
inexpensive)to see the doctor in those days but that
nobody had even a dollor to go.

So when I put this altogether, I think fresh grown
food is always the best along with some hard work. I
would even bet some alcohol is beneficial to a point,
but that chewing tabacco is parbably something one
shoud avoid at all cost. lol

btw, my dad lost his teeth to gum disease quite young.
I still think regular dental cleanings are
beneficial.

Well, 6 individuals is really not all that
exceptional, and even you are now stating there was 1
exception having to do with the 6 you mentioned. Am I
reading you correctly? Tthat's not to say I'm arguing
the benefits of CS. What I am saying is you really
still need to go to the dentist for regular cleanings
IF you want healthy teeth/gums. That's just being
smart. And if one gives the impression CS will be all

CSCalcium/magnesium ratio/ Sota silver pulser

2007-12-20 Thread Gail Naranjo

 From: Acmeair res00...@verizon.net

 DR ABARAHAMS STUDY
The resuts of this study suggests that 500 mg of
Calcium 600 mg of Magnesium has a significant
effect on reversing postmenopausal bone loss within
a relatively short period of time.

OK, that kind of confirms what is said in The
Magnesium Factor. I think it is there where it says
more are deficient in magnesium than calcium and more
importantly if you use too much calcium somehow works
against bone health. Suggested not to take more than
500 mg. calcium more magnesium. I still don't
really know what to think about it. Still feel like I
need more calcium than that being post menopasual.

Regarding the comment about Sota's silver pulser, I
recommended any of their units to anybody. If that
was the pulser the 'blue' man is using, then he must
have done something wrong like not using distilled
water or adding salt. Nobody has ever complained
about Sota's units to my knowledge. Sota is a very
reputable company, imo.

Gail- I started taking colloidal minerals 13 years
 ago with the MLM
products advocated by JD Wallach. When Azure
 started carrying them
cheaper I switched. I couldn't tell any difference.
  I take Organa
which is available in gallons. It gives me energy,
 boosts my immune
system keeping me from getting colds and flu very
 often, and is alleged
to detox heavy metals and remove them from the body.
  The colloidal
form is alleged to keep them from being toxic as
 they are not alleged
to be retained by the body- accumulate in the
 tissues.

 Nancy
--

Nancy, is the gallon colloidals you take the same as
the trace minerals Azure carries?

I found a gallon of colloidal minerals for $34 at
Azure but it didn't say 'trace' minerals, so I'm
thinking it is something different.

I bought some 'trace' colloidal minerals for $12.50
for a quart but the sh was an extra $10. If the $34
gallon is the same, that would be a better deal, but
I'm wondering if it is different being just the normal
calcium, magnesium potasium combination. Could you
tell any difference between the two products? Would
you mind checking out the ingredience for me? Also,
what is the cost for sh on the gallon product, and
did you also purchase it from Azure?

One last question: g It this the only supplement for
you, or do you still find you need other supplements?
If so, what are they?

Thanks,

Gail

My preference is magnesium orotate as I've always

CSCMO for sciatcia nerve pain

2007-09-11 Thread Gail Naranjo
Dear List,

For those that have mentioned having problems with
sciatcia nerve pain, don't understimate the power of
CMO. We've talked about it here while back for
arthritis pain.

Sciatcia pain is due to the pinched nerve. When the
joints have proper lubrication as well as decreased
inflammation by taking the CMO, one will often
experience pain reduction due to the pressure being
released on that nerve.

Try it; you'll like it! lol

Good place to get it is at TRC Nutritional
Laboratories.

My posts haven't gone through so this is just a test.
However, IF this does go through answering the

Note: This is not a book about potasium, rathe about
adrenal fatigue and how you can correct it.

CSPotasisum

2007-09-09 Thread Gail Naranjo

I know many main stream nurses, doctors, and
 pharmacists that do not have
the brains of a 10 year old idiot relative to
 potassium.

Something else to think about regarding lack is,
dehydration. Many have it and don't even know, for
which the first thing you get (if hospitalized) is an
IV with potassium.

Just to add to the pot. Can't even remember the name
of the guy who wrote the book about adrenal fatigue
says adding potassium for one that has adrenal fatigue
makes it worse. An easy enough test if you think you
might suffer from this, eat a banana and see if it
weakens you. After the adrenals are repaired,
potassium is then allowed back in the diet. Wish I
had the book with me but lent it to my daughter or I
would look up what all he said about it.

Just some interesting tidbit but also important if
suffering from AF, which according to the author, most
are!

Would it be possible for all those with the desire

 started?

Well, Hanneke, then where does one draw the line?
Very little about CS is even discussed on this list,
and for ever subject that has been discussed, be it
vitamin C, orangic growing, pesticides or whatever,
there is some list somewhere discussing that very
subject! Why didn't you suggest if they want to talk
about those subjects to join a different list?

I am on Wayne's list but am just lurking. What I am
interested in is people's testimonials about their
experinces with it. So far there have been more people
sharing their experiences on this list, which I
appreciate very much.

Hi Wayne,

I wasn't complaining about the list. I really enjoy
being able to discuss a variety of things on one list
and not having to joining yet another list if I want
to talk about something other than CS. What I didn't
like was being told to go somewhere else to talk about
MMS, thus my comments about where does one draw the
line and why didn't they tell the other people to take
their converstions to another list? I felt like what
we talk about is at the discretion of the moderator
and if he had a problem with us talking about it, he'd
chime in. Probably shouldn't even have said anything.

I also enjoy your MMS list and think you are doing a
great job. So far there really hasn't been enough
time to have very many people give their testimonies,
thus I've really appreciated those that have posted
their results thus far here. That's all.

CSGetting the feel of things

2007-09-08 Thread Gail Naranjo

  Date: Sun, 09 Sep 2007 05:46:55 +0930
 From: Hanneke bloss...@aapt.net.au

 Good Morning Gail,

First, if my post about joining the MMS list has
 caused people to
think I was trying to be another list-cop, my
 apologies. Wasn't my
 intention.

Any non CS/EIS related topic usually would move
 over to the off
topic list, either because of gentle comments by
 our well respected
list owner Mike, or the topic would just usually
 fizzle out.
 =

Hello Hanneke,

I have to say I'm still trying to get the feel of
things on this list. I joined the first part of June
because the CS2 was moving so slowly. At first I
mostly lurked trying to get the feel of things myself.
I thought 'wow, they talk about anything', but was
unsure as to what was considered on-topic and what was
considered off, so mostly just lurked. Then Mike
wrote in stating health related topics could be
discussed here and we would get back to discussing CS
whenever somebody wrote in asking a question about it.

I realize you have been a member much longer than I
and know the ropes around here, but for the newcomer
it can still get somewhat confusing. Inevitably,(it
doesn't even matter what group it is) there is always
somebody that feels a need to tell others what to do.
Sometimes it's in a bullying fashion, while other
times it is by gentle persuasion. You were being a
list-cop, imo, (albeit with gentleness) by telling us
what to do. Eventually the moderator will usually
step in to set things in their proper perception. I
always find myself wondering why don't people just
leave the moderating to the moderator in the first
place? It works. Now I'm more confused than ever and
wondering if I shouldn't even talk about MMS. I had
thought it was within the rules but now wonder if
maybe I shouldn't say anything. :(

I have to say in the short time I've been on the list
I have to agree with you about our well respected
list owner, Mike. From my short time observations, he
is well respected because he treats others with such
respect, never overbearing, while taking care to guard
each ones' dignity and self worth. I've seen
moderators come off with brute force, while others are
very controlling. Some are very munipulating to
always have it their way, seeming to care more about
what they want than being an instrument of healing.
For what it's worth and for all purposes, imo, Mike
comes off as a very classy act. Nice!

Back to lurking now.

Gail

CSVitamin C/cancer

2007-09-08 Thread Gail Naranjo
HI Carol Ann others,

So much for me lurking, lol.

My cousin just had breast cancer, and regarding your
comment about attitude, I just have to say she handled
it so gracefully. Her hair is now starting to grow
back in and a few of us went out to lunch. She had it
styled kind of like one does with a baby girl with the
curl on the top of the head because that it the only
length to their hair. We were all teasing her about
her hip hair style. She replied she was going to spike
it some more and spray some purple dye in it. Too
funny!

IMO, you're so right about personal attitude. I was
very touched at how she has handled everything,
actually kind of awed by her. I hadn't realized the
depth and courage she possessed.

But about vitamin C, they (doctors) made her stop
taking any antioxidants as they said it interfered
with the chemo while she was having chemo. I told her
about you and how you never did reach bowel tolerance.
She said (something I didn't know) that chemo will
constipate one so it would be difficult to reach bowel
tolerance.

Glad your still kicking, lady. And what a lovely lick
you have!

Hey, Carol Ann.

CSHeart palpitations

Scott,

Magnesium is one of the main minerals for a healthy
heart. Doctors will even give a magnesium shot when
one is having a heart attack. Orotates work best.

Also, calcium will often help with palpitations.
Orotates or coral calcium have been very helpful.

When somebody has a chronic illness, very often the

adrenals to help support them.

CSCMO

2007-08-31 Thread Gail Naranjo
Hello,

Since today's subject seems to be CMO, here's a good
quality, good price CMO that I've used.

CMO is actually a modified medium chain fatty acid
ester that is made from Cetyl alcohol, derived from
the oil of the sperm whale and Myristoleic Acid, which
is found in very small percentages in all fats and
oils, states right on the bottle.

www.trcnutritionals.com phone #: US: 1-800-421-7310,
INT'L: 001-918-437-7310.

It's listed under the name, 'Inflameze CMO' 180
capsules for $13.48. Serving size: 3 capsules-300mg
cetylmyristoleic acid.

That was the going price when I order it, but that's
been a while. Might have been a special, but anybody
can easily check it out, if interested. Folks out of
Tulsa, Ok., very nice.

CSozone generators/ oxygen supply source

2007-08-26 Thread Gail Naranjo
Hello Ode,

Well, it looks like Charles already answered your
question.

As far as getting oxygen from a welders' supply place,
that is very often suggested on the Oxyplus list.
Even have a handy line if questioned as to what you
need it for. All you have to say is you need it for
your hot tub or acquarium. That is very often how
ozone users get their oxygen tanks filled all the
time. Nothing new.

An air fed generator is never recommended for
insufflating, injecting, saunaing (is that even a
word?) or IV use. It's just not because of the
nitrogen oxide factor with the air fed generators.
That's just the way it is.

Recently some of the posts were talking about an
overload of toxins relating to various illnesses. We
were talking about cfids, fibromyalgia, lymes, but
I'm sure the same principle applies to other illneses.
Ozone therapy simply helps the body to unload the
toxins, thus allowing the immune system to be able to
then heal itself.

The body is an awesome creation. And when functioning
as it was created to, the immune system is what heals.
However, when our immunse system is not functioning
as it should, healing doesn't happen.

All althernative protocols follow this same line of
thinking, be it the Beck protocol, fasting, cleansing,
ozone, riffling, whatever. It's all about removing
the toxic buildup allowing the immune system to do
the work it was created to do, while supporting it
with proper nutritional support. Oh, sure there are a
whole lot of ways to deliver the message, but it's
really all the same when you get right down to it.
Ozone is a very viable tool used to help with that.

Study up on the subject a little more, and you might
find it worth the big bucks. It is pricey for sure,
but it also last a lifetime. At least the plasmafire
one is guaranteed for a lifetime, which is something
one might want to consider, if interested in looking
into it.

CSxylitol

When using xylitol for gum/teeth problems, be aware it
can lower your blood glucose. Just brushing your
teeth with it doesn't seem to cause the problem, but
when chewing the gum on an empthy stomach, it will.
Well, depending on how empthy the stomach is. I've
chewed the gum after eating and mid morning without
anything negative happening, but I've also chewed it
just before lunch, when lunch was being delayed, and
it really caused my sugar to drop, so be aware...
expecially when giving it to children. gail

CSValuable speaking

2007-08-23 Thread Gail Naranjo
Wayne said:

Hi Wayne others,

When I first came down with cfids, it really (still
does) affected my brain function. People would come
by to 'visit', and all their talking made me sick,
really physically sick. It was then I realized you
need your brain to even listen to people talk. It was
also then I thought to myself, 'I guess people really
talk more to hear themself talk rather than to
communicate because all that talking is just making me
sick!' It really was even too hard to simply listen
to people talk.

Well, that was when I was really sick and just about
anything made it worse. However, since then, I still
think much of what is said is not really pertinent,
but rather than thinking it's just to hear themself
talk, I now realize it is simply a very social thing
people use to interact with each other. Now when
somebody does give one line answers to a question or
sometimes even a single word answer, I find myself
wishing they would have said more so that I could have
gotten to know them a little better. lol

Gail
ps. btw, I still think piracetam works really well
for brain funtion. At least it seems to be helping
me.
It also works well along with curcumin.

CSLiquid Oxygen Supplements vrs. homozon

2007-07-16 Thread Gail Naranjo
Connie,

The main reason we (I) was talking about homozon was
as a colon cleanse regarding Ruth's condition. The
added oxygen it only an added benefit. With other
colon cleanses one doesn't get the energy boost one
gets with the homozon.

If one just wants added oxygen they can do anything
from as simple as deep breathing, to exercise, to
adding H202 in your water, to taking any oxygen
supplement.

I got a little tickled when I checked out the link you
sent because right below the product you were
questioning they then had a colon kit cleanse. lol
One can accomplish both oxygen and colon cleansing

CSDosage of homozon

2007-07-13 Thread Gail Naranjo

 From: ruth strackbein ruthstrackb...@hotmail.com

Hi, Gail, I have a can of Homozon right on my
 kitchen cabinet now. My
oldest son gave it to me some time ago. He says he
 and his brother have
used it with excellent results. However, John says
 that in his experience ,
he has to be sure to be near a bathroom when he
 takes it which is daily.
Because of past experiences with products with many
 elements in them, I am
leery of this one as well. Because of the nature of
 my innards, and the
experiences I have had in dealing with them, I will
 continue to hold off for
awhile. John will be visiting here in August,
 perhaps I will be persuaded
then, for the present I will still use the current
 Dr.'s plan which is
 really quite flexible.snip
You see, I do read my posts and I do pay attention!
---

Hi Ruth,

If you do decide to give homozon a try, you can always
start at a VERY low dose to assure a GENTLE cleanse
while eliminating the mad dashes to the bathroom.
Some have mentioned starting at only 1/8 tsp. to get
the gentle cleanse. Others start at 1 tsp. and have
to make a mad dash to the bathroom for a couple of
hours. However, after the colon is cleansed (it does
take some time, tho), the mad dashes are not as
urgent.

I am not trying to pursuade you one way or another.
Only repsonding to your request for information that
might be helpful in your situation, nor did I ever say
you do not read the posts or pay attention. If you
didn't want information, I doubt if you would have
asked for it.

Take care,

Gail

CSProduct information for Ruth

2007-07-12 Thread Gail Naranjo
Hi Ruth,

I'm not Charles, and I'm sure he'll give his
suggestions, but thought I'd chime in a little.

I had quit making any suggestions because most have
already made several good ones, plus from the
beginning, you said you were going to follow the
guidance of your doctor.

If you do decide to take us up on some of the
suggestions in the future, I'll give you a quick run
through of some of the pricing of some of the
products.

Homozon runs around $28 or more. Cheapest I've found
is at www.excellentthings.com. I realize right now
you are on your doctor's protocol, but if afterwards
you want to try this, it would be at the top of my
suggestions. I think this would accomplish the same
thing your doctor is trying to accomplish as it would
help to get/keep the bowels up and running. I've also
heard some don't even use the lemon/lime drink
following the homozon and still get good results.

Many have also suggested Dr. Schultz #1 colon cleanse.
Sorry, I can't remember how much that runs.

Bragg's raw apple cider vingar runs about $4-5 for 1
QT. at most local health food stores.

Soloray has a good HCL with pepsin 180 capsules for
about $11-12. Also, NOW has a good super enzyme
product with bile extract, HCL, and a multiple of
other enzymes, 90 capsules for about $12.

So if you do decide to try the homozon, ACV, one of
the digestive enzymes, these products would run you a
total of about $45 for all of them together, and that
would last you for some time.

Personally, I do not believe your main problem is a
result of not having your gallbladder, but I do
believe is is contributing. Everybody needs help
digesting as we age and especially if the gallbaldder
has been removed. That would be a good starting
place.

I believe the problem you have with your colon, you
were born with. You've mentioned having trouble even
at a very early age (I'm assuming you still had your
gallbladder then). I would love to see you not have
to have the surgery. Please consider the homozon
before making your final decision. Most people have a
significant amount of hardened fecal matter lining the
walls of their colon anyway. Not only would this help
with that, but it actually gives one a boost of energy
by the ozone in it.

I also recall you mentioning being on a limited income
and not wanting to waste money on yet another
supplement that will just line your medicine cabinet.
I understand. There's no guarantee these products
would help your individual situation, but they have
been known to help many.

Take care,

Gail

 Subject: CSBrain Injuries

Does anyone here know of a treatment for brain
injuries? My 21 year old son
was involved in a terrible accident in the early
 hours of Saturday morning
and has had two operations and is in a coma, on life
 support.
-

Dear Joe,

My thoughts and prayers to your family.

This might sound far out and who knows if it will even
help, but you never know.

Years ago I suffered from a concussion that seemed to
take forever to heal due to the type and placement of
the injury. It had been a good year and still I
struggled a lot. Then I was reading a book I believe
by Dr. Lee (?) called something like Everything Your
Doctor Didn't Tell You About Menopause. In it he
talked about how good progesterone cream is for the
brain and brain injuries. He even made the comment if
he was ever in a car accident and suffered any brain
injury, he would want somebody to pour the entire
bottle over his head.

Long story short: I purchased some progesterone cream
and started using it for hormone replacement along
with also applying it to my heard. It felt like my
body was starved for it. I never even took a break
from it like the directions say to use 3 weeks on and
take a week off. It was only after I started using it
did I finally recover from the concussion.

Compassionately,

Gail

CSThe Healing Power in All

2007-07-05 Thread Gail Naranjo
Hi Folks,

In lieu of our quest for health and our desire to be
of help to others, I thought this little affirmation
might be appropriate.

Every so often, the enormity and complexity of life
give me the impression that there is little I can
really do to help other people. I may become
frustrated and overwhelmed with the problems of
others. And with this powerlessness, I may become
controlling.

As a helper, I must not lose sight of the fact that I
am not a guru-I am a catalyst. It is not my job to
provide others with The Answers. Rather, I can be a
powerful change agent, providing others with
opportunities to discover their own solutions.

When I impose my beliefs on others, I inhibit the
growth process. I can and will allow others the
dignity of self-discovery. If others disagree or
choose alternatives that I don't agree with, I will
not become enraged at their choice.

I believe in the inherent beauty and strength in all
human beings, and I will not assume that I know what's
best for everyone. Instead, I will model
decisiveness, strength, security, and inner peace that
will reverberate in those around me.

May we all find that which we are looking for in our
journey.

Gail
