  Your snipped quote:
[Are there purposes for which you make low PPM batches vs. higher PPM
batches?]
-For me personally, Yes! Daily use or non emergency...a relatively low ppm
satisfies, for emergency or something...a high ppm. For external use on open
wounds or such, I don't mind how much converts to 'particulate', but for
internal use with an emergency ailment or condition becoming evident, my
regimen is to use my 4 electrode unit and only produce 250ml at a time, twice a
day, and a quantity must be consumed every couple of hours while awake until
used up, to ensure absorption while still highest in ionic content.

I want to thank everyone who replied to my question about occular herpes. I
gave Luke a few drops in his eye last night and he said it made his eye feel
uncomfortable. Marshall, I will take your cautionary advice under serious
consideration.

I have a SilverGen and I've always made batches with the knob turned to high
(and I don't have a ppm meter). My CS has always been white as plain water so
I've never worried about its quality.

May I poll people on this list who have SilverGen machines and find out what
you set your dial to and why? I would be very grateful to learn from you guys
on this question.

Would it be right to assume that if the silver rods were submersed to the
same level and the same size jar was used that the different settings on the
dial will produce relatively consistent PPMs?

Are there purposes for which you make low PPM batches vs. higher PPM batches?

  Again, many thanks in advance...

Even distilled water can make the eye uncomfortable. If you mix just
enough salt in it to make it a saline solution, it will be less of a
problem. However all the ionic portion over about .8 or so ppm will
settle out, but the colloidal portion will be untouched.

I think it is an engineered flu

and the people who created it want to cause panic.

The problem is that it is very hard to create a pandemic flu - if it has a high
mortality rate - it is hard to spread, if it spreads quickly and easily - it
usually has a low mortality rate.

My guess is that this whole threat is to get us ready for martial law
http://www.rutherford.org/articles_db/commentary.asp?record_id=581

And/or to make money on the eventual vaccine
http://www.google.com/search?q=swine+flu+vaccine+who+will+profitsourceid=navclient-ffie=UTF-8rlz=1B3GGGL_enUS177US229

And of course, Rumsfield will make a killing on all of the Tamiflu that will be
given to the people who are sick with Swine Flu.

The Flu turned out to be milder than every one thought.

So many schools are closed in our area.

This is first time I have seen them try to stop the Flu, normally it is left
to run its course.

Unless they are worried about the Flu changing for the worse, I do not see

I agree with you Dave.

I just found this video which supports the idea that Swine Flu is no worse than
regular flu:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rT2HWdPFqMgIt is an interview with a family
in Texas who has Swine Flu.

Also forgot to add in my previous reply...

Whether it is THIS Flu Pandemic or any other future Flu Pandemic they are
able to unleash, do NOT take the vaccine. You can do your own research on
weaponized flu vaccine.

Also, there are rumors that this Swine Flu will come back worse in the fall - I
suspect that it will simply come back in greater numbers (following the course
of all flu outbreaks) and by then they will have a vaccine available and can
capitalize on the increased number of cases to increase the fear!

more hysteria and nonsense...

What?

I stated that the Swine Flu is no worse than the regular flu. I am stating
that the hysteria is being CREATED. My post is not hysteria and nonsense.

If you are refering to my suggestion that you do your own research on
weaponized flu vaccine - then yes, I understand that most people consider
such a concept as hysteria and nonsense - many of those same people will take
the vaccine when it is available.

Regardless of whether it is weaponized or not, I don't believe in any
vaccines - I believe in strong immune systems. Look what happened with the
last Swine Flu vaccines.

It is wrong, wrong, wrong that vaccine manufacturers have no liability for the
untold damage that they have infliced on people all over the world. However,
anyone who allows someone to inject something into their bloodstream (or their
child's bloodstream) has to accept the ultimate responsibility for the outcome.
It's not good to blindly trust what the experts tell you. I'm sure that the
family members of those who died from the last Swine Flu vaccine could vouch
for that!

A question for you. If a laboratory accidentally released vaccines
contaminated with LIVE Avian Flu virus to 18 countries, do you think that would
be newsworthy? Surprisingly, the only non-conspiracy-theory source of
information that I could find about this oops comes from one article in the
Bloomberg Press.
===
http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=20601124refer=sciencesid=aTo3LbhcA75I
===
The Austrian health ministry reported the incident to the European Union and is
conducting its own audit, Rosenberger said. In response, Baxter said it has put
in place preventive and corrective measures that the ministry found
satisfactory. The vaccine has been destroyed, according to Rosenberger.

The World Health Organization is aware of the situation and is consulting with
the ministers of health of the countries involved to ensure that all public
risks arising from this event have been identified and managed appropriately,
said Gregory Hartl, a spokesman in Geneva.
===

...and yet the same laboratory that made the above mention mistake (Baxter
Laboratories) is among the list of vaccine manufacturers working with WHO on
the current Swine Flu vaccine.

shaking head here...

I apologize for possibly beating a dead horse, but...

I found an article that articulates my concerns very well:
http://www.naturalnews.com/z025760.html

If a meteor was headed for earth and top scientists knew that it would cause
the death of millions of people - wouldn't it be a newsworthy event if someone
(or some organization) was able to change the meteor's course and avert the
disaster?

Had the vaccines containing the live Avian Flu virus not been discovered before
being injected into human beings, it had the potential to launch the deadly
Bird Flu pandemic that scientist are now saying, it's not a matter of if, but
of when it will happen.

There are only two possibilities:

1) Baxter Labs is so incompetent that it is not following biosafety level 3
proceedures...

or

2) It was done intentionally.

Either way, how is it possible that Baxter Labs is still making vaccines???

Thanks Marshall,

Sometime people scan only words or phrases and form a quick opinion of what a
writer is trying to say. I have been guilty of that myself! If that is the
case here... no problem.

Or, he could be referring to weaponized flu vaccine and calling that more
hysteria and nonsense. If that is the case, I still see no problem because I
find that very few people have the time or the inclination that I do to sit
down and research topics. Also, on the face of it, it is a radical concept.

Meteors hit the earth on a regular basis. Maybe at very long intervals,
but geologically speaking, it happens ALL the time. I bet they have
some ideas of what to do if it happens right now, too.

The meteor thing was an analogy - the main point being a potential disaster was
averted but the powers that be do not seem to be concerned and it did not
make mainstream news. However, they seem to be VERY concerned about the Swine
Flu (and the main stream news is making much ado about nothing).

Do you see the discrepancy?

It is always a matter of when, not if. They makes live virus vacs all
the time, and they have killed lots of people for years.

I don't think you are following what I am saying - or read what is on the
website I linked to.

This was NOT a live virus vaccine. (BTW Flu Vaccines are always killed virus
except in the case of the nasal spray Flu Vaccine).

This was an ACCIDENT of MONUMENTAL proportions. Let's completely eliminate the
consideration that the H5N1 Avian Flu might have been released into the world's
population via contaminated vaccines, we STILL have the issue of a laboratory
that is CURRENTLY making childhood vaccines, and will possibly make a future
Swine Flu vaccine that FAILED to follow Biosafety Level 3 protocols! This is
unconscionable!

HOW IS THIS NOT NEWS - but the Swine Flu is news???

BTW, I too requested the killed Polio vaccine for my oldest son back when they
were still giving the live vaccine - the Pediatrician was very upset with me,
but she gave it. I immunized my two oldest, but did not immunize my youngest -
guess which child has the strongest immune system?

I have no idea why they still insist on making live virus vacs- they

controversial for longer than I have been alive; at least back to the
Salk/Sabin controversy (Salk was for killed vacs, Sabin for live vacs),

everybody there know that I will not pay for a live virus vac. In the

It is easy for them to do. They just have to make a call. They don't

  Hello,

I have a SilverGen colloidal silver maker.

I also have a 7 year old son who has had two ocular herpes outbreaks and is
going to see a specialist about it because getting it so young (and having two
outbreaks within a year) is very serious. He already has scarring from his
second attack of occular herpes. This can lead to blindness.

I am writing to ask if anyone has had any experience with ocular herpes and
if not, what would you do?

His current treatment is a drop of liquid anti-viral every 2 hours until the
outbreak is gone (this last episode took SIX weeks to clear up!) This medicine
hurts his eyes so much he has to wear an eye patch for light sensitivity.

I am thinking that colloidal silver would not hurt his eye and that a drop of
colloidal silver every hour would work.

Does anyone think there would be any contraindications to using colloidal
silver in the eye? I know that it is especially helpful on topical infections
so I am pretty hopeful.

Has anyone tried colloidal silver for lip herpes topically? Any results to
report?

CSocular herpes?

2009-05-03 Thread Lea Ann Savage

I am writing to ask if anyone has had any experience with ocular herpes and if
not, what would you do?

Any results to
report?

Blessings,

CSCS for Chronic Fatigue

2008-07-22 Thread Lea Ann Savage
Hello,

I've battled Chronic Fatigue Syndrome for 8 1/2 years. I had a remission that
lasted a year (and thought a was cured) but for the past week it has been
back as strong as ever. I can't figure out why it came back (or exactly why it
went away for that matter). I eat very well, am off of sugar, caffein, and
wheat.

I have a CS generator and have used it for sinuses, skin issues, and topical
stuff... However, I'm thinking of trying CS internally now for the CFSID.

Does anyone have any recommendations as to a daily dose?

Also, I am using a SilverGen and always turned up the knob to high to get a
high particle size for skin issues... should I make batches at a different
strength to get smaller particles for internal use?

Blessings,
Lea Ann Savage

Re: CSCS for Chronic Fatigue

2008-07-22 Thread Lea Ann Savage
I wish it were that... I take magnesium to the point of the runs all of the
time.

I've been trying to piece together what changed in the past two weeks that
could have brought on this sudden re-lapse. All I can think of is that I had
been off of store bought vitamins for the year that I was feeling better and I
had just purchased and started taking those vitamins again pretty close to the
time that I started feeling exhausted again.

Fingers crossed here that it is something as simple as a sensitivity to
something in the Vitamins.

However, I would still really like to hear from people on this list what amount
of CS you take internally on a daily basis (if you take it daily). And, if I
should use a different setting on my SilverGen in order to get a better
particulate size for internal use.

Many thanks in advance...

Can you describe the mash a little bit better? Are you talking about a food
processor? How much liquid is there and what size are the pieces of the
cabbage? Do the bacterias come just from the cabbage itself? Do you rinse the
cabbage before chopping?

Sorry for all of the questions but this idea sounds easier than some of the

  Hi Lea Ann!

Of course I rinse the head off before cutting it to fit in the food
processor.
I do not chop it very long so the shredded pieces are larger, ~quarter size.
I pour the small amount of liquid from the chopper into the jug along with
the mash also.
I pour from a Wal-Mart gallon of distilled water into the 1/2 full of mash
sun tea jug until it almost reaches the top, 1/2 or so down..
I put the open air cap lid on and bind cheese cloth over the opening and
store at room temp of about 70ºF.
When it is fermented and after removing the hard stuff I do add a tablespoon
of sea salt or canning salt for flavoring.
Do not use table salt here either as the additives will kill the mixture.

If you slice the cabbage into 1/8 thick slices and leave the fermentation
for about a month you will have the best sauerkraut ever.
A large head of cabbage will make five gallons of sauerkraut.

  That's a good idea.
And you can probably direct the flow to avoid high velocity eddies and
use a pressure bypass loop hose and a valve to control rate of flow.

I think the easiest way to stir is to simply get a small aquarium filter
pump, and

pump the water around the container.

If you stir too fast, one of the electrodes develops a thick grey beard
of silver stabilized hydrogen bubbles that tends to insulate that
electrode and drops off into the water when it gets heavy enough. Some
floats, some sinks.

A gear head motor works far better. Even then, spin bar size should be
tailored to batch size.

I don't think so. I would have the pump pull from a tube at the bottom of
the
jar, and then simply dump the water out of the outlet tube into the top of
the
jar. I think the easiest way is to buy an aquarium kit for about $25,
they you
get the gallon tank, the stirring pump, and a light and cover. I use this
one:

http://www.petguys.com/pet-guys/-047431502860.html and can be purchased at
probably any local pet store.

I simply run it without the filter cartridge.

CSQuestion about stirring mechanisms

the URL I posted wouldn't take you right to it. Ode also sells a nice gel kit,
item number 18, for making CS tropical gel. Its the lowest price Ive seen

on cuts and scrapes and also any skin rashes. I picked up a bad skin rash in
Brazil and this was the only thing that killed it for good. It also stopped
some of my mothers skin cancer. I think it would of stopped all of it but the
medical docs got a look see on her annual checkup and
  talked her into surgery.
Ive also used it for burns and sun burns with great success. Thanks Ode.
The mag stirrer works great for me, just remember theres a spinner in the CS
jar. I lost one by dumping the water out on a experimental batch that went bad
on me.

CSDercum's Disease?

Hello,

find some information that can help my friend who has Dercum's Disease (very

http://www.dercumshope.org/whatisit.php
http://dercums_data.tripod.com/index.html

Apparently it has been known about for over 100 years but no one is
researching this disease. It causes painful fatty tumors all over my
friend's body. I noticed on the websites two different theories one being
viral and one being parasitic. (The current accepted theory is that it is
genetic).

If it were viral then I think CS should help? If parasitic, wouldn't a
microelectrical device work?

If anyone has any ideas of what I should recommend to my friend I would
greatly appreciate them.

Many thanks to stuff, tw11LL, Steve, and Vince for the info:) I have made
3 batches with my new generator, but this weekend went and got another
bottle of Sovereign Silver for taking internally. The reasonI still
dont know what the safe dossage for the SG6 Silver Gen is. Does anyone
know? Is the silvergen making a nano size? Is the Sovereign Silver
hydrosol at their report of .0006 and 150 million particles of silver per
drop smaller than nano size and therefore safer? Is there a range of nano
sizes that are all safe? Terry chamberlin...(my middle name is chamberlin)
can you explain why this is so confusing to know the truth about?
Researching colloidal silver on the net is very complicated due to such
diverse information. Even if by some miracle consumers had atomic
microscopes to check out each product...who could interpet the results? Im
thankful i didnt buy the silver at our local health food store! It was 553
parts per million and mixed with protein and the owne!
r purchases it from a guy from mexico. The grey folklore, and quackwatch
on the web pages are pretty scary and add a burden of doubt to continue
the search to enjoy the benefits of silver. It would be a blessing if the
silverlist pros could get some truth out on the main web pages for
silver:)Terry...bless your heart for helping so many with their
problems...wish you could put it in walmart for a dollar a gallon:)

Mercury is a neurotoxin, and causes a host of negative consequences, the
degree and type of which depend on many other factors relative to the
individual and his/her environment. However, we are not all allergic to it, or
allergic to it to the same degree. This explains why only some children out of
a group vaccinated with a preparation containing Thermisol(is this correct
spelling?) will become autistic.

In a recent post a list member was asking for assistance for autistic
symptoms which developed in a child subsequent to vaccination. Another list
member sent information for asthma, which was not requested, but it came out
that the autistic child's mother had asthma! Asthma, of course, is related to
allergies. So, we are seeing that it is the children who already have allergic
sensitivities, and genetic predisposition to allergic reactions, who become
autistic subsequent to vaccination. Allergic sensitivities have a genetic
component.

In my experience, individuals who suffer consequences of mercury toxicity may
become free of same by densensitizing the allergen, without removing the
mercury. An example of this would be an individual I know who chose not to
have their entire dental work (including root canals, redone, with teeth
pulled), but simply densensitized to the mercury, with relief of symptoms.
Then I have seen cases where the neurotoxin (in this case surgical anesthesia
resulting in paralysis) could no longer be expected to be affecting the subject
(35 years later), yet the paralysis continued until the person was desensitized
to the anesthesia. Sometimes, even upon removing the presence of the allergen,
the allergic reaction continues because the body has been reprogrammed on an
energetic level (blockage of energy meridians); hence, removing the physical
cause (allergen) does not always take care of the problem.

I would also like to ask the members of this group if anybody has any

a very closely guarded secret.
As I am residing in South Africa where is little available in the line of

Back to the acid-alkaline issue: Nearly every health professional I talk to,
and all the research I've read, says that alkaline water is better for you than
acidic water -- and that in fact, acidic water can cause all sorts of health
problems. I think it's a good idea to treat the CS with SOMETHING to raise the

CSPediatricians firing patients

2005-11-09 Thread Lea Ann

Hello,

I read your article with interest.

I can easily come up with a handful of mothers here in Brevard County, FL
who have been fired by their pediatricians and those are only the ones
that I know of. When I saw the vaccine damage done to my oldest two sons
(ages 7 and 10) I finally had the strength to say no to my pediatrician
about immunizing my youngest (now age 3). We were promptly fired with no
other explanation than we won't see your infant if you don't immunize.

Between the two of my immunized children they suffered with ADD, ADHD,
Dyslexia, severe Asthma, Eczema, and very severe ear infections (my middle
son's ear infection lasted from the age of 4 months until 6 years old). My
3 year old has never been to see the pediatrician except for well child
visits and one respiratory infection when he was two years old.

About being fired, there was only one pediatrician and one general practice
physician in the entire county that I could locate that would see me if I
refused to immunize.

I found your article to be biased towards the established medical system.

I wish that mainstream media would expose issues like the conflicts of
interest in vaccine policy making http://www.909shot.com/COFRpt.htm then,
people would be less inclined to believe statements from your article like,
multiple studies by prestigious scientific groups have found no evidence
that vaccines cause autism.

But back to the gist of your article, I don't think you tried very hard to
locate parents fired by their pediatricians. An article from their
perspective would be a good counter balance to the article from the
pediatrician's point of view. I have been fired and I have also had the
Department of Children and Family Services called on me for medical neglect
simply because I have a Religions Exemption from Vaccinations on file for
my children at school. Parents who choose not to immunize are routinely
harassed. Now there is an article topic for you!

My ideas on this pushing of vaccines and giving no credence to the
risks/dangers of vaccinating by pediatiricians is as always follow the
money. I've read much back and forth on the subject of vaccinating
animals, and a huge part of the answer of vet hostility seems to be that
vets make a lot of their money from vaccs. I read somewhere that
vaccination income can be as high as 60 to 80 % of a veterinary
practice's total income (from my admittedly poor memory--no refernce to
hand) If true, it would not surprise me at all if similar figures apply
to pediatric practices. Certainly I have gotten the idea from discussion
of the topic of vaccination that even school requirments that children
be vaccinated before being admitted, plus city/town and county/state
laws regarding animal vaccination requirements were mainly all pushed
through to support profits. I don't doubt most of the politicians at the
lowest levels (city councilmen, etc) thought they were protecting health
and safety, but go up the line to state and national politicians likely
to be directly involved in the pharmaceutical industries and there is
surely a whole lot of self-interest involved.
It always seems to be a matter of looking to see who directly profits
from anything. Always, always follow the money. It is impossible to get
any person to believe or act directly contrary to their own economic
interest.

Yes, actually...I've had anywhere from 2 weeks to 2 months of cold
sensitivity as each filling was changed out. I assumed it was normal since
I had the same thing back when I got the amalgams in the first place. My
dentist's explanation was that live nerves were exposed when the amalgam
was removed the pit was cleaned, so sensitivity is normal depending on
the nerve exposure/contact. All has since subsided for me though...my

Please tell me what is the proportion of DMSO to be added to the CS, what is

sinuses with the DMSO/CS combination.

  Thank you,

  Jill
Hi Jill,

Here is sol's reply to the questions about proportion, strenth, and where to
get it...

I am somewhat sensitive to DMSO so I keep it weak.
I have read here (I believe Richard Harris said it) that DMSO is
effective at even 2 % added to EIS.

For topical herpes cold sore treatment my husband uses a mix of about
half and half DMSO/EIS. (the DMSO we use is 99.9% pure veterinary grade,
looks like the brand sold at www.jeffersequine.com, but I can get it
locally).
For my eye and nose drops, I use a one ounce dropper bottle, and put in
one whole dropper of DMSO, and fill with EIS. I have been thinking of
adding two droppersful DMSO but haven't tried that yet.

For nebulizing I use 1 oz EIS (mine is around 12-15 ppm)- 1/2 to 1
teaspoon pure MSM crystals (Opti-msm)- and 5 drops of DMSO. This is for
my chronic URI pet rabbit, and it is used for ear drops as well (but NOT
for eyes--the MSM doesn't hurt eyes, but it stings like the devil--when
I used it in my rabbit's eye without testing it on me first is when he
bit through my thumbnail, I had it coming!). Since he gets nebulized on
a regular basis, I always have it made up, so I just use the same stuff
for us humans. But if it was only for humans, one could add more DMSO,
according to tolerance.

I'm trying to use a mouthwash (I swish and hold as long as I can stand
it) of 10% DMSO and 90% EIS for my root-canal teeth, but am finding it
*very* difficult to use even once a day, as it is really foul. Doesn't
bother my husband though: he used it for weeks twice or more a day, for
a possible abscess.

I don't really measure anything anymore except the recipe for my bunny.
For us humans, for soaks, mouthwashes, or whatever, I just ballpark the
porportions of DMSO to EIS.

When my cat sprained a toe I wetted it with the 10% DMSO to EIS. He
didn't like it being dipped, so I just soaked a cotton ball in the mix
and dabbed it on until the toe was wet to the skin. I only mention this
because the vet wanted to put him on preventive antibiotics for it,
because she said this kind of injury in cats often gets
abscessed/infected. He healed up fine without them, with just the
EIS/DMSO treatment.

Did I forget anything?
sol

Thank you for your informative post!

Here is what I consider to be the best source of information on Colloidal

Here are the two most often recommended CS makers:

Rapid Eye Technology was developed over 20 years ago because the
person had an autistic child. It is also a very effective way with working
with autism and many other problems. I took the training in June, and the
improvement in my own life alone has been incredible. You can read more about
it on http://www.rapideyetechnology.com The VA has also approved it for PSTD
treatment for veterans.

The Emotional Freedom Technique DOES work. It is something people can
learn and implement themselves. Rapid Eye takes things further and clears the
body at deeper levels of the neuro pathways.

The Food Allergy Cure by Dr. Ellen Cutler describes and illustrates
the Nambudripad technique, basically. You can do this to yourself or have a
friend help you. It is not quite as effective as if you pay $50 a pop to have
one allergy elminated at a time, but it will lessen the symptoms. And you can
redo the technique as many times as you need to as you learn what works and
what doesn't.

The human body is very complex. From what I've seen, healing can be
approached from either the physical standpoint or the finer aspects of the
emotional distortion. Clearing things at the emotional level usually has a
longer lasting effect but is generally more work.

Since it has been recently shown that our thoughts change our DNA, our
good health resides within us.

I am enjoying this list, but still cannot get the jist of Colloidal
Silver and it's creation. The technical things just go over my head. Is there
a reliable machine I can just purchase? And can a person use silver coins to
make the juice? Thank you, Laurie

2005-11-04 Thread Lea Ann
Hi Harper,

I don't know if I'm going to a Mexican dentist yet but I REALLY want to. Rest
assured that if I decide to go I'll let everyone know what my experience was
like!

About the Flair, I just looked up my cost... it is $229.00. I really don't
care if I profit from the sale of one of these as it is not my focus right now,
but I pay my annual $35.00 dues every year because I keep getting referrals
from past customers. So if you wanted to make a contribution towards the
dues I paid this year that would be great!

I have to say that I love my Flair. BUT, I am very ambiguous about the safety
of the ozone in the air. It is this issue that keeps me from really trying to
sell these units more aggressively.

What I love about the Flair is the sanitize feature where the ozone blasts at
full strength for an hour then turns off. I will sanitize when I know I am not
going to be around to breath the ozone but otherwise I leave it off. (I put my
pillows in plastic bags and ozone them weekly) I also tent my bed with
plastic and ozone the mattress, etc.

I can't tell you how many people I've sold units to that I've given them
DETAILED instructions about keeping the ozone level off (except to sanitize) or
down very low, but they blast it on high anyway. This is why I feel so
ambiguous about selling them.

Anyway...

Your story about your day was TOO funny.

Oh, and I wanted to let you know that I am really glad you asked your question
because I had never heard of Salt Lamps and now am very interested in them!

Thank all you so much. I have never heard of salt lamps before but I am
getting everyone in my family one for Xmas. They call me the weirdo from
California anyway so why not? It gives them all something to gossip about all
year anyway. Maybe they will all get out the salt lamp and fire it up to show
their friends how weird Californians are and get well while they are gossiping.

Lea Ann I may take you up on your offer but only if you take something for
yourself. You are too good a person and buying an air purifier from an angel is
win win for me but does nothing for you.

I want to know more about the Mexican dentists too and your experiences.

Sorry I did not get back to anyone yesterday. I was in the Twilight Zone.
The only weird thing that did not happen to me was that I was NOT abducted by
space aliens. It started with a pipe breaking in my bathroom wall. It
progressed to my cell phone malfunctioning and calling me continuously and
ended with some strange woman driving up to me in a parking lot at 8 PM to tell
me she was having a heart attack and asking if I could take her to the
emergency room in her favorite hospital not the one that was close because she
supposedly worked there. When we got there she ran out of the car leaving me
with her keys. She just disappeared.

Moral: CS can protect you from cancer and avian flu but you still may fall
prey to bad landlords, renegade satellites and lunatics!

From Ruth Strackbein: I just had my bi-annual dental checkup. Dentist tells
me I have a cracked filling on a tooth that holds my partial plate. He
recommends fixing it with a silver crown. Anyone have any pros or cons about
this procedure? This would remove the amalgam filling that is in there
presently. Another tooth is a dead tooth that this dentist insists from x-rays,
is okay. There is a pocket next to it which continues to be tender. Thought I
would put this in since there is a thread about teeth going on at present. Ruth

CSRe: Re: CSpotassium vs. sodium salt vs. no salt

2005-11-04 Thread Lea Ann

Hello V,

I think it might be because of the combination of salt with silver forming
silver chloride?

I don't understand the chemistry involved, but I have a personal experience
of what can happen when you mix salt and colloidal silver. I had a sinus
infection and I used to use saline to flush my sinuses by placing a large
swig of salt water in my mouth then bending over the sink and allowing the
water to go into my sinuses and I'd blow it out my nose into the sink.

This would help clear the sinuses a little bit but during an infection it
did not kill the infection.

Then I learned a little bit about colloidal silver and bought a bottle at
the health food store (before I got my silver gen SG6). I figured that I'd
first flush with saline to loosen and remove as much gunk as possible the
follow up with CS. I did this twice about a half an hour apart. About
another half an hour later I honestly thought I was going to die from the
pain in my sinuses. (o.k. I exaggerate a bit) I have a very high tolerance
for pain, but it seemed like there was fire in between my eyes and I got a
pounding headache. I quickly got on the curezone forum and asked for ideas
and someone theorized that I had created too much silver chloride by
following a saline flush with CS.

I flushed with just saline a few times to help clear things up and about two
hours later the pain was gone and that episode was over.

The next morning the sinus infection was still going strong so I decided to
use ONLY CS (I figured it had been long enough since my last saline flush
that I wasn't going to create another silver chloride fire between the
eyes episode). My thinking was that saline had never killed a sinus
infection but possibly straight CS might.

When I flush with just CS it burns much more than with saline water because
sinuses are used to a saline condition and plain water or CS water is NOT
saline so it burns some. Plain water and CS feel just the same to me.

Anyway, I could easily put up with this kind of burning so I kept at the CS
Only routine (running it into my mouth and out through my sinuses) about
once an hour for the rest of the day. By the next morning I had beaten a
sinus infection without antibiotics for the first time in my life.

I was so impressed that I bought an SG6 that day!

Moral of the story - don't mix CS and saline then flush your sinuses with
it!

Blessings,
Lea Ann

2005-11-04 Thread Lea Ann
Hi Harper,

I think that if you flushed with CS and DMSO as sol suggests and did it on a
regular schedule that you would heal that cyst.

I learned about the sinus flush from a yoga book when I was a teenager. It can
be a bit complicated to do, but it is a more thorough and advanced practice
than the neti pot method that is so often promoted. (I think it is because
with the advanced sinus flush you don't have to buy a special pot so no one is
promoting this method grin).

Here is a good description of the different kinds of yoga nasal flushes
http://www.yoga-age.com/asanas/neti.html the one I do is stage 3.

I would be happy to explain in greater detail what I do. I learned it as a
teenager by myself with only the book to consult so it's really not THAT
difficult.

I really think you could heal that cyst.

Adding DMSO to the CS for the sinus flushes might help. I add DMSO to my
EIS for eye drops and nose drops, because as you say, EIS feels just like
plain DW, and I find it very uncomfortable.

I have also added plain salt or baking soda to EIS and that makes it more
comfortable. What I'd guess happened to you is that the saline flush
stripped out a lot of the mucous lining of the sinuses, then the CS was
really contacting bare tissues, and unbuffered non-saline on bare sinus
tissues (or in eyes) hurts. Doesn't bother some people but causes me pain
and discomfort.

My reason for adding DMSO instead of salts or baking soda is the DMSO adds
transport of the EIS into tissues, and makes it more effective. It seems
to me like adding salt or soda makes the EIS less effective.

  Warning

Almost invariable congestive heart failure is due to bacteria from the gums
or fillings.

Do the google search and you will verify that statement.

A defective root canal became abscessed and it almost destroyed my heart.
After antibiotics and the use of Dr Clark's zapper I improved, but the
bacterial has taken up residence in my knees and every so often I have to zap
them so I can walk. Did it just this morning.

When glucosamine and condroition do not work for arthritis it is because the

Hi Rowena,

Yeah I have made simalar devices that plug into the godzilla. I call it a
wartziller and it has a silver wire on the tip and you dip it in CS and
then apply to the spots you want to infuse with silver. you want the tip
to be positive becaues that is the side that gives off the silver when the
current flows. IDt works for many warts also by infusing silver into the
wart with a current.

Take care,
V

How interesting. I wonder whether a couple of bits of silver at the end
of wires in a Godzilla device would do something similar.
And whether it would be effective in Spider Bites!! Users claim success
with mosquito and ant bites, and using it for any infection.

Anyone use this device from the Klearson Co in Boulder?

If You want to know if amalgam is under your crown proceed as follows.

Put the negative electrode of a microamp meter in contact with the tissue
inside your mouth , not touching any teeth, the positive electrode in
contact with the crown in question. if the reading is negative there is
amalgam underneath. If it is positive, there is not.

CS

2005-10-31 Thread Lea Ann
Hello Earnie,

From a scientific perspective, I am eager to repeat the microwaved water vs.
boiled water and plants experiment (because I'd rather not experiment on my
own body if the consequences could be lethal :-)

My point was that the proponents of microwaved food is dangerous are using an
illogical argument to prove their point. I'm completely open to believing that
microwaved food is dangerous. I just think it hurts a person's cause if they
fail to use logic and science to make important claims. In fact, it leaves
people open to riducule and if they had an important health point to make it is
often overlooked because of the illogical conclusion they have used to make
their point.

Take a look at this thread
http://www.museumofhoaxes.com/hoax/weblog/comments/3142/ and check out the
website the original poster is criticizing: http://www.relfe.com/microwave.html

She might have made some important points but because of her illogical
statement at the beginning, many readers stopped listening to her.

Regarding your statement, so then, where did the cellular damage come from?
I would have to say that unless you did a controlled study which eliminated the
following possible sources for your cellular damage, you cannot logically
conclude that microwaves are the cause.

Some of the Sources of Free Radicals

a.. Free radicals are increased by injury, stress, pollution, illness and
aging*
a.. Ionizing radiation (from industry, sun exposure, cosmic rays and medical
x-rays)*
a.. Ozone and nitrous oxide (primarily from automobile exhaust)*
a.. Cigarette smoke and alcohol*
a.. Unsaturated fat (may cause a strain on the natural antioxidants of the
body)*
a.. Many other chemicals and compounds from food, water and air*

Have you ever been exposed to stress? pollution? illness? aging? the sun?
medical x-rays? etc. etc.

As I said before, I am very eager to do the water test because for me, even
though I may not understand the exact mechanism involved or EXACTLY what is
indicated if the plant dies, it will be evidence enough for me to toss my
microwave.

It seems this debate over whether blood heated in a microwave alters its

Which only means that my comment would be adding to this. JI would like to
just say that whom ever is in favor of not having sufficient proof, conclusive
evidence that a person or persons getting transfusions from micro waved blood
isn't responsible for ones death, please go on and request a personal bag of
micro waved blood for your own transfusion the next time you happen to be in
the hospital for something critical. I didn't think so...Why not put your
theory or the so called research out there to the test. LOGIC would indicate
that if water, the most basic element yet most crucial to our survival gets
altered. Why then wouldn't blood? Water after all is 70% of our body's
composition. I have had my blood tested, and free radical damage is present.
Sure there may be environmental and job related exposure which may have
contributed to my condition. BUT, my nutritionist asked me a simple question.
do you use a microwave and how much? I am in impeccable good health, ( thank

CSlaundry system using silver ions

2005-10-30 Thread Lea Ann

Hello,

I'm sending this because it makes reference to silver ions that have
anti-bacterial properties.

http://www.ecoquest100days.com/100daymedia.asp

It is full of marketing hype but basically, what they are promoting is a
unit that hooks up to your cold water line that runs to your washing
machine, runs the water through a treatment system that does (?) and
the claim is: Laundry Pure will revolutionize the way everyone does their
laundry. You will be able to hook up a Laundry Pure unit to the cold water
line going into your washer and you will never have to use detergent, hot
water, or softeners again.

I am an inactive dealer for EcoQuest (but I keep up my dealership because
past customers keep sending me customers). I rarely keep up with what they
are doing but this one caught my eye. I can't find any information on what
the technology is they are going to have in this unit - what they will be
doing to the water - but they do make reference to silver ions in that video
clip.

I went onto the internet trying to find other laundry systems (to see what
kind of technology might be used) and that's when I came across the magna
clean system I mentioned in an earlier post. I bought those magnets just to
see what they do. The Ecoquest unit I'm guessing will run close to $700.00
so if a couple of magnetic balls does essentially the same thing I thought
I'd give that a try first. I couldn't endorse a $700.00 product if a $67.00
product did the same thing.

I just thought it was interesting that they mentioned silver ions and will
be going to the next marketing hype meeting to try to find out what the
technology is.

Re: CSgold crowns and battery effect

2005-10-30 Thread Lea Ann

Hello ode,

I find it interesting that my gold does not actually touch an adjacent
mercury filling. My remaining gold crown is on the upper left, furthest
tooth back. I know it is somehow related to the gold crowns as my shocks
used to be bilateral (but only one side at a time would be symptomatic) and
now that the one gold crown has been removed it is unilateral and on the
side of the gold crown. The shocks actually start in my neck right near
where the number 24 appears in this picture:
http://www.vh.org/adult/provider/anatomy/atlasofanatomy/plate09/02rneckmuscles.html

and travel along a line to a spot that feels like it is about an inch into
my skull right in the middle of the occipital bone as pictured here:
http://www.ivy-rose.co.uk/Topics/Bones_CranialandFacial.htm

I've researched trigeminal neuralgia and my pain does not correspond well
with what they are describing.

The only thing I can think is that there is some direct electrical
connection to a nerve but there is no pain right near the tooth (but if they
did a root canal there the nerve at the tooth site is dead).

Luckily these events don't happen very often or for very long. Whenever
they happen I SWEAR I'm gonna do something about it (it hurts so bad) but
then it goes away and I get busy with life for a couple of months before it
comes back.

And BTW, the shock IS really weird. After a day or two of the shock
treatments my neck is sore in that area.

You could get the gold replaced with plastic or porcelain.
'Feeling' a shock is pretty weird. The battery effect is generally micro
amps and millivolts resulting in slow galvanic corrosion.
Could be a pinched nerve? Direct electrical connection on an nerve? Lots
of those in teeth for some reason.

2005-10-30 Thread Lea Ann
In doing research for my son's Science Fair Project (his or mine? :-)

I kept coming up with websites claiming, There was a lawsuit in 1991 in
Oklahoma. A woman named Norma Levitt had hip surgery, but was killed by a
simple blood transfusion when a nurse warmed the blood for the transfusion in
a microwave oven!

Website after website claims that this proves microwaving food makes the food
dangerous.

One website states, Logic suggests that if heating is all there is to
microwave cooking, then it doesn't matter how something is heated. Blood for
transfusions is routinely warmed, but not in microwave ovens. Does it not
therefore follow that microwaving cooking does something quite different?

This is not a logical conclusion. How on earth do they get from Norma Levitt
died following a blood transfusion using blood warmed in a microwave to
therefore, microwaving blood does something to the blood other than heating
it? There are many variables besides the microwaving that could have occurred
and other possible conclusions that can be drawn.

In the court case, it appears that the plaintiff alleged that the blood was
hemolyzed by the microwaving process. Hemolyzed means that the blood cells
were ruptured causing hemoglobin to leak into the plasma.
¶2 Wilkinson and his law firm (hereinafter Wilkinson) were retained by the
personal representatives of the estate of Norma Levitt to pursue a medical
malpractice claim. Norma Levitt died on the operating table at Hillcrest
Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on November 8, 1989, following successful
hip replacement surgery. A nurse anesthetic gave Levitt a unit of Levitt's own
blood which had been warmed in a microwave oven located in the employees'
lounge.1 Wilkinson alleged the negligent introduction of this blood into
Levitt's system was a direct cause of her death minutes later. The defendants
argued that Levitt died from a blood clot, rather than the hemolyzed blood.
Wilkinson's first petition named only Hillcrest Medical Center as defendant.
The petition was amended over 15 months later, on November 8, 1991, to include
twenty additional individual and corporate defendants.2
http://wyomcases.courts.state.wy.us/applications/oscn/DeliverDocument.asp?citeID=4387

The following footnote in the case is interesting:

1 Heating blood in this manner destroys the red blood cells, resulting in
gross hemolysis of the blood, releasing large amounts of potassium. Excessive
potassium, when introduced into the body, is often fatal. The practice of
warming Intravenous (IV) fluids, other than blood, in the microwave was an
accepted practice at Hillcrest Medical Center, as reflected in its written
procedures.

Here's another interesting PubMed abstract which indicates that the laboratory
analysis of microwaved blood isn't appreciably altered by the microwaving
process:

The management of massive blood loss resulting from trauma or surgery
necessitates rapid transfusion capability. Hypothermia secondary to shock,
transfusion, and prolonged surgical procedures significantly increases
morbidity and mortality in these patients. Transfusion at high flow rates
frequently exceeds the warming capacity of conventional blood-warming devices,
whose inherent resistance also limits the maximal flow rates. Microwave ovens
are capable of blood warming, but have been associated with unacceptable
hemolysis. We have investigated the possibility of using microwave energy to
provide rapid in-line blood warming. Fresh blood from 10 human subjects was
warmed from an average of 18 degrees C to temperatures ranging from 37 to 39
degrees C at flow rates from 250 to 500 mL/min. Laboratory analysis of free
plasma hemoglobin, haptoglobin, hematocrit, hemoglobin, and electrolytes showed
no difference between heated and control samples. LDH was elevated in those
samples warmed repeatedly, but remained within the normal range. These data
indicate the potential for further investigation utilizing properly controlled
microwave energy for in-line blood and fluid warming.

CSgold crowns and battery effect

2005-10-29 Thread Lea Ann
This topic is of great importance to me as I came down with severe chronic
fatigue within weeks of having two gold crowns placed in my mouth along with
a host of pre-existing mercury fillings. I have also experienced SEVERE
electrical shocks in my neck and back of my skull on occassion. This only
started after the gold crowns were placed and I know that this is due to a
battery effect (but of course my dentist does not believe this).

These shocks happen about 6-10 times an hour and when one hits I am in a
great deal of pain. They last for probably a fraction of a second but they
really, really hurt. This will go on for 24-48 hours, even through the
night, then go away. These episodes come on about once a month.

I went all summer and most of this fall without an episode but had another
one a couple of days ago.

One of those gold crowned teeth had to be pulled. If I have another
electrical shock episode I think I'll just go to my dentist and DEMAND that
he pull the other one.

I want to go to Mexico to have the rest of my amalgams and root canal teeth
removed but as a stay at home mother we have very limited funds and even
with the huge discount, a trip to Mexico would cost us money we don't have
right now.

Anyway, I see that I'm rambling.

I remain very interested in this topic!

I dunno, mercury has a pretty strong tendency to dissolve things like

Never tried it with aluminum or copper. Maybe those too.

Re: CSgold crowns and battery effect

2005-10-29 Thread Lea Ann
After reading the article posted by ode, I searched gold, amalgam, and
galvanic corrosion (as suggested by the author) and came up with this...

Clinical management of galvanic current between gold and amalgam.

Williamson R.

Department of Oral Health Practice, University of Kentucky College of
Dentistry, Lexington, USA.

Placing a strip of rubber dam or similar insulator between the contacting
dissimilar restorations is a diagnostic technique for relieving and
evaluating painful galvanic currents. Treatment modalities vary according to
severity of pain. In cases of little or no pain, nothing is done, and
corrosion products are allowed to form an insulating cover over the
offending restoration. For patients with severe pain that does not improve,
treatment may consist of placing a composite restoration in the amalgam
restoration to break the interproximal dissimilar-metal contact. For painful
currents caused by occluding restorations, a coating of unfilled light-cured
resin over the offending amalgam breaks the metal contact and allows
corrosion product buildup. Galvanic currents can occur and cause pain, but
this is generally shortlived and should not influence the dentist's choice
of an appropriate restorative material.

This makes me FURIOUS. Can't these people understand that if there is a
galvanic current that SOMETHING is giving up electrons and don't they KNOW
that it is the mercury?

But no, let's make removing the amalgam the last option.

Sorry, it's a hot topic with me.

But at least now I have plenty to copy and take to my dentist to show him
that the pain I've been in is not just in my head (although it is in my
head :-)

Hello Harper,

Thanks for this information.

I never thought that traditionally trained dentists (or students) would take
out perfectly good fillings or a perfectly good gold crown.

I am interested in this idea.

But, I also want cavitations cleaned out, conscious IV sedation (so the work
can all be done in one day at one sitting), and IV Vit C, and procedures to
protect me from the mercury. I'll have to weigh the cost of a trip to Mexico
with the option of getting the work done locally withough Huggin's protocol.

I live near Orlando, Fl so shouldn't have a hard time finding a dental school.

Hi Sol,

What did you do? Did you remove the amalgam or the gold?

Mine don't touch. I read one artlicle where they discussed gold crowns OVER
amalgam. Perhaps there is amalgam under my gold crown?

I'm almost to the point where I'm going to go into my dentist's office with
some literature printed out and tell him to find an excuse for removing
the gold crowned tooth that will be covered by our insurance. Or, I might
just have to put a trip to Mexico on credit (I hate that) and worry about
paying it off later.

Hopefully, my health will be better after the mercury comes out and I'll be
more inclined/able to find a part time job. (youngest is now 3 so I can
work part time while he's in school if I wanted to).

I'm so inclined to go to Mexico because every time I've had one or two of my
mercury fillings switched out for composits I get REALLY, REALLY sick. I
must be really sensitive to the mercury. If I go to Mexico I get the
protection of Huggin's protocol and I get it all done and over with in one
day.

In my experience with galvanic shocks between amalgam fillings and a gold

each other. And I never had any period when the teeth could touch without
a shock. It was quite painful, and the pain echos would last a long time.
My dentist, luckily had no trouble believing me.

Soon as I get hold of two identical plants, and figure out how to code

Hi Lea Ann - the microwave watered plants all died within two weeks, for
me. I used glass containers because less chance of any other contaminants,
such as leaching from the plastic.
Mike's suggestion of using glass pan for boiling was a good one, too. My
cookware is glass. It also limits the variables if both waters are cooked
in glass containers. I think I did use plastic in the microwave, but
glass sounds a better plan. I used quart jars, with just two small plants
I had plenty water for the two weeks I needed it. If you are going to use
more plants, you might want to use a quart jar of each kind of water for
each separate plant? Joy

CSJoy - Microwaving - Science Fair Project?

2005-10-27 Thread Lea Ann

Hi Joy,

This would be an AWESOME Science Fair Project for my 10 year old. I am SO
excited because we haven't chosen a project yet and this one seems just
perfect! All of the websites people on this list have referenced can now be
used as source material!

It is due January 17th so we have at least 10 weeks to do the experiment.
Can you tell me how long it took to see one plant showing signs of
suffering? We wouldn't have to wait until they actually died. I was
thinking about doing the experiment with several pairs of different kinds of
plants.

May I ask a couple of questions?

1) Why does the water go into Glass containers?
2) What kind of glass container did you use? (I'm thinking I'll have to buy
something to be big enough)

Thanks in advance!

Blessings,
Lea Ann

Yes. You can prove this for yourself, someone suggested the following
experiment to me some years back. Buy two small houseplants, pot in
identical medium/pots. Label one M for microwave. Boil some water on
the stove, and equal amount in the microwave, put in sterile covered glass
container after cooled, the microwaved one labeled as such. Let each cool
and use to water the plants for the next several weeks. Treat the two
plants exactly the same in the amount of water you use for each, where
they sit, how much sun they get. Only difference will be in which water
you use. I couldn't believe the results, so dramatic. Tried it twice
more with identical reactions. The microwaved water killed the plant
being watered with it each time. Joy

CSMicrowaves - opposite viewpoint

2005-10-27 Thread Lea Ann
From the following website:
http://rabi.phys.virginia.edu/HTW/microwave_ovens.html

Don't microwaves change the molecular structure and composition of food, by
ejecting some electrons from atoms and forming cancer-causing free radicals? If
I should stand away from a microwave to avoid possible leakage, why would I eat
microwaved food?

Microwaves don't affect the molecular structure of the food, except through
the thermal effects we associate with normal cooking (e.g., denaturing of
proteins with heat and caramelizing of sugars). That's because, like all
electromagnetic waves, microwaves are emitted and absorbed as particles called
photons. The energy in a microwave photon is so tiny that it can't cause any
chemical rearrangement in a molecule. Instead, it can only add a tiny amount of
heat to a water molecule. During the microwave cooking process, microwave
photons stream into the food and heat it up. But millions of them would have to
work together in order to cause non-thermal chemical changes in the food
molecules and they don't normally do that. The photons can only work together
if there is a conducting material, such as a metal wire, inside the oven. In
that case, the photons can accelerate mobile electric charges along the
conducting paths and create sparks. Such sparks can cause chemical damage, but
nothing worse than the chemical damage caused by scorching food with a flame or
broiler. Even if your microwave is full of sparks for some reason, I doubt that
the food will be any worse for you than it would be if you cooked it over an
open flame or barbecue.

What's wrong with his assesment?

You do need to cool the water, of course. I did this three times,
comparing it with water boiled on a stove. Took less than two weeks for
the plant being watered with microwaved water died, each time. I too
thought there could have been other causes, which was why I tried it
three times. It really blew me away. I don't know if just warming the
water would make a difference or not - the directions on the experiment
given to me said to bring it to a boil, so that is what I did. Joy

I'll try this. How long is it supposed to take to kill the plant? If the
period is too long, the plant could have died of other causes.
And I presume one lets the microwaved water cool before applying to the
plant soil, otherwise, watering any plant with hot water will kill it.

Do I heat the water to boiling? Or is any period of microwaving, even
just to warming supposed to change the water enough to kill the plant?

You can make your own. Just remember that l level teaspoon of salt in a
pint of water =0.9% saline, the base for many IV fluids. You can boil this
in the microwave. I would put another jar,say a small babyfood jar filled
with water in the microwave too, boil both l0 minutes. What ever
evaporates from the jar with the salt won't matter, or you can put some
from the babyfood jar over into it. When the water is mostly cool, pour a
small amount, maybe l/4 cup, of the saline water into the sterilized
babyfood jar. Add the amount of C you want, let it dissolve. Now you have
sterile IV fluid with C. Susie

The two units that I see recommended most frequently (and equally

1) The Silver Gen SG6:

And

2) The Silver Puppy : http://www.silverpuppy.com/page1b.html

I have a Silver Gen SG6 and couldn't be happier - I've heard enough reports
on both of these machines to know that you could not go wrong with either
one. I make crystal clear colloidal silver batch after batch without fail

CSFlu Shots and Mercury

2005-10-19 Thread Lea Ann
I was at my local grocery store and read the poster advertising Flu Shots.
Among other restrictions, the poster said that people who have allergies to
thimerisol should not take the shot. ALLERGIES? to thimerisol???

Isn't thimerisol/mercury a POISON???

I thought thimerisol as a preservative was banned? Wouldn't it be likely to
contribute to Alzheimers to give senior citizens shots with mercury in them?

I also saw a whole line of people waiting to get their shots on another
day... my heart just broke for these people poisoning their bodies while
thinking they were doing something good. Oh, and my health food store is
right next to the grocery - the owner told me that last year 3 people
fainted from waiting outside in the heat in line to get their flu shot.

Sigh.

Re: CSAmalgam removal...

2005-10-14 Thread Lea Ann

Hello Jonathan,

I think that how you react to regular removal proceedures may depend on
your body burden of mercury. I haven't been tested but I strongly suspect
that I am mercury toxic. I have been having a few amalgams replaced here
and there by a regular dentist and the only precaution he can use is a
rubber dam. Every time I have an amalgam removed I am nearly bedridden for
two months.

I sure wish that I could get IV vitamin C during and after the proceedure as
well as have a separate air supply - those are things that the biological
dentists use in their protocol.

I don't have too many amalgams left. I've looked into going to Tijuana,
Mexico but keep putting it off. I just procrastinate until I forget how bad
the last round made me feel then go back to my regular dentist and do it
again...

exaggerated to me, after having amalgams for something like 30 years.
(They are durable, that is for sure.)

I did not suffer any ill effects that I could discern, but have noticed
health improvements since having the amalgams replaced. The composites
are of course much less unsightly.

From what I have seen, the amalgam removal specialists charge very high
fees.

CSMercury Detox Protocol

2005-10-14 Thread Lea Ann

Hello Ken and all...

I have this book: http://www.noamalgam.com/ it is VERY good and the author
is a regular poster answering people's questions on this Yahoo Group:
http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/Autism-Mercury/ his name is Andrew
Hall Cutler.

He has a Very Thorough mercury detox protocol and he goes into great detail
about what it takes to get Mercury out of your brain as opposed to just
getting it out of your body. Apparently, ALA (Alpha Lipoic Acid) crosses
the blood brain barrier to get the mercury out.

An important part of his protocol is the timing of the doses. He has a
several days on, several days off protocol and the timing of the doses is
CRITICAL - meaning you have to take your ALA every 4 hours including getting
up in the middle of the night to take your dose.

He uses DMPS for mercury chelation and does not recommend chlorella or
Cilantro. About EDTA, in his book he states, EDTA is an intravenous
chelating agent for lead. It is not very selective and superseded for
practical purposes by DMSA. EDTA is used by alternative physicians to treat
coronary artery disease, intermittent claudication, and peripheral
neuropathy with some success. It is not generally helpful for chronic
fatigue and other mercury related symptom complexes. Physicians familiar
with EDTA may not be aware that it is not the medication of choice to treat
lead or mercury intoxication at present.

Regarding DMPS he states, DMPS is a chelating agent for mercury and
arsenic. Currently investigational in the US. DMPS is a water soluble
dimercapto chelating agent that stays outside the cells. It mops up mercury
and suppresses symptoms very well. Large doses (e.g. 3 mg/kg IV) have been
associated with risks of liver damage, neutropenia, and other serious
adverse reactions. Deaths may also have occurred. There are no statistics
but best estimates are that the risk may be as high as 17% per patient
undergoing monthly DMPS therapy by injection. Lower intravenous doses
appear to be safer, but not safe. Intramuscular administration appears to
be associated with more sever side effects and a greater risk of adverse
reactions. It is also painful. If yeast or fungus infection occurs or
progresses during therapy, suspect neutropenia. Agranulocytosis can occur.
When used properly by oral administration every 8 hours DMPS if fairly safe
and works very well. Proper use is described in the text. Orally
administered DMPS relieves symptoms more promptly and completely than DMSA
for the duration of therapy despite the fact that no more mercury is
excreted. It is often tolerated by people who do not tolerate DMSA, or has
a similar side effect at a reduced level that may permit therapy. DMPS
increases the excretion of mercury in the urine but not in the feces. It
also increases the excretion of copper and other essential elements in the
urine, but this does not significantly affect the body's balance since these
are primarily excreted in the feces.

I have to run but sometime tomorrow I'll post what he says about ALA (Lipoic
Acid), Chlorella and Cilantro if anyone wants me to.

I HIGHLY recommend: 1) his book and 2) the Yahoo Group I listed links to.

I think we discussed this before, folks. The cilantro
cure if I remember correctly, does not actually
remove mercury from the body altogether. The study, I
believe, said that it was able to move the mercury
from the brain to less dangerous locations, however.
I wish I had the information again. I could probably
find it if I look on the 'net again. Anyway, if one
is in serious need of mercury removal, EDTA treatment
will do it. However, the highest amount of mercury
removed involves between 10-20 treatments of something
like 3-4 hours hooked up to an IV with the EDTA
solution. There might be better ways but that is the
traditional one.

CSVitamin C Therapy

2005-10-12 Thread Lea Ann

Hello,

Someone posted to this list a while back the link to a website that had
information on how you could force a doctor to give you IV vitamin C
therapy by asking the right questions and asking the doctor to put their
answer in your chart.

I thought I saved that link but now cannot find it.

I hope the original poster reads this... or does anyone else have the link?

MUCH Thanks in advance if someone can come up with that link.

When I was a computer newbie I wish I could have been directed to a web page
expalining things like how to create e-mail folders.

Now, I have a different Email folder for every Email list I belong to (or I

But back then, I didn't even know what the term Email folder meant.

It's a learning curve.
