Re: CSKnee problems

2007-11-20 Thread William Missett

It's complicated, but briefly:

My knee problems started in 1993, when a hammock rope broke, dropping me 18
inches to concrete. That threw my pelvis out of alignment, which meant my
knees were also not in alignment. But it didn't hurt much unless I walked a
lot.

There are no chiropractors here in my small Mexico hometown, so the damage
became permanent. Later attempts by two chiropractors in NYC to fix the
problem failed.

I really damaged them running full-tilt boogie for at least one mile through
the Mexico City airport on Jan.1 of this year, while dragging a heavy
roll-on bag which was skewed sideways behind me most of the way. Completely
blew out my left knee (since I'm right-handed) and damaged my right.

So it goes ...

I've just recovered from severe knee damage that was healed
with two months of wearing a brace, and three months of using
a Mexican holistic remedy that bears more study.

I was limping around at a street eatery in my hometown in
Mexico, when a local man I knew approached me, and told me he
had suffered similar knee damage, and had cured it with honey
bee royal jelly. He even told me how to take it --just a
toothpick tip dipped into the jelly each day, and the small
amount placed under the tongue.

I was slightly skeptical, but went ahead and did it,finding a
local supply of royal jelly which sold for $100 pesos (about
$9 US) for a two-ounce jar.
I've been using that same jar for four months now, and it's
still half full.

Within a week of starting this regimen, my knee felt better,
and has continued improving ever since -- without the brace,
and with no other treatment, except daily doses of CS. I've
gotten to the point where I no longer even favor the leg.

Que milagro!

Somehow, I don't think Prill Beads will do that...but not hard to find

Get a conductivity meter. If it reads .2 [very pure] to 4 uS [not great

Hi!

I was just given a secret method for controlling tomato infections. I live

works, which it supposedly does in spades:

Get a section of electric wiring with somewhat thick copper wiring, cut off

the tomato plant just above the roots.

This creates a colloidal copper generation, which immunizes the tomato plant

Re: CSRe: mercury fillings- to Miranda

2007-07-29 Thread William Missett
I had my mercury filings removed in the late '70's after reading a book on
their dangers written by a dentist who lived near me. I went to him, and he
briefed me on what was necessary, and offered to remove the 12-15 mercury
filings I had for $175 a tooth.

Not being able to afford that, I went to Tijuana and had it done for $25 a
tooth by a dentist who specialized in their removal. He, like every other
similarly trained dentist, uses much air circulation and a dental dam as
absolute necessities. High tech labs will have devices to suck the air
(with mercury dust) out of your mouth so it doesn't get inhaled or absorbed
into the bloodstream..

The ADA (American Dental Association) censures every dentist who endorses or
advertises mercury filing removal. It is still suppressing information it
knew when it formed in the 1840s -- that mercury is a dangerous poison,
especially to those super sensitive to it. The opposing group of dentists
the ADA defeated were holistic dentists who did not use mercury in filings
because of its known health dangers (even then!) But it seems there was
much more money to be made in mercury filings, so the health dangers be
damned.

Thus, the ADA is at least partially responsible for any mercury poisoning
which can be directly traced to mercury filings -- which of course is a
practically forensic impossibility. So rather than let the health dangers
be known, the ADA perpetuates the coverup.

My dentist was censured, and lost his ADA accreditation, which is like the
Good Housekeeping Seal of Approval in the dental world.

A perfect example of merury poisoning occurred in the 1970-s in Japan, when
dozens died from a hug mercury spill. Mercury was formely used to make fancy
gentlemen's hats, until they linked its use to the dementia it causes.
Remember the expression mad as a hatter?

Dentists are trained never to touch mercury, and keep old mercury filings
and mercury debris in large containers of water so they won't be exposed to
it. But then they put it our mouths and say it's perfectly safe.

I also read that it is dangerous *to* get rid of them because of the
amount released in one go into the system. Dee

It *can* be dangerous to get rid of them, if:

1. They are not removed properly, and

2. You do not adequately prepare - you should spend a few days prior
loading up your system with mercury scavengers, like bentonite clay,
chlorella, cilantro, and any others you know of, and a few weeks (at
*least* to many months *continuing* the mercury scavengers once the
fillings have been removed.

It is not something to take lightly, and it is not something to have done
by someone inexperienced in the procedure.

Some people say if you have a lot, it is better to do them in stages -
personally, I don't agree - but that is a decision each has to make for
themselves. I do understand the argument - but as long as all of the
proper precautions are taken, it shouldn't be a problem.

Personally, I would also most likely insist on having some kind of
breathing apparatus so I was breathing filtered air through my nose ONLY,
the entire time (to prevent inhalation of mercury vapor while they were
being removed). Of course, this last part would require a bit of
self-control - ie, not breathing through your mouth during the entire
process...

CSQuackbuster Busted ... Again

2007-06-16 Thread William Missett
Although this deals only with chiropractory, Dr. Barrett has been a nemesis
of CS for many years as well ...

SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, Calif., June 14 PRNewswire-USNewswire - In a strongly
worded opinion, the Appeals Court for the State of Pennsylvania ruled against
Stephen Barrett, a long-time critic of chiropractic and alternative health
care. In an action that chiropractors see as a major setback for their nemesis,
the judge refused to overturn a 2005 decision against Barrett.

The earlier lawsuit was won by chiropractor Tedd Koren, DC, whose company
markets chiropractic educational pamphlets that Barrett had harshly criticized.
In his newsletter, Dr. Koren referred to the self-proclaimed Quackbuster as a
Quackpot and commented that Barrett was de-licensed, and in trouble.
Barrett sued Koren for defamation and lost the case.

Barrett, who represents himself as an expert on health care quackery, has
appeared as a medical expert in numerous court cases and claims the FDA, FTC
and other governmental agencies have consulted him on health care issues. He is
noted for his outspoken opposition to and criticism of non-medical health care
approaches, most of which he labels quackery. His targets have included
chiropractic, homeopathy, naturopathy, and even two-time Nobel Prize winner
Linus Pauling.

Heading the legal team for the original Koren case and appeal was Carlos
Negrete, who serves as legal counsel for the World Chiropractic Alliance (WCA).

This is a great victory for the chiropractic profession, Koren stated after
the Pennsylvania Appellate Court decision was announced. Once again,
chiropractors across the country have been vindicated and exposed the specious
and evil attacks by someone who has no knowledge or expertise in our field.

Negrete specializes in representing alternative health care providers who are
targeted by advocates of the medical and pharmaceutical industries. His
previous court victories have positioned him as the premier health freedom
attorney in the US.

During heated and often dramatic courtroom proceedings, Negrete pointed out
many of the questionable statements Barrett includes on his websites attacking
chiropractic, as well as facts about Barrett's own credentials that shocked
even his supporters. Under Negrete's intense cross-examination, Barrett
admitted that he had not been a licensed physician for more than a decade and
had failed the neurological exam, preventing him from being certified as a
specialist. Negrete demonstrated that, despite his claims, Barrett had no real
expertise in any medical field.

Barrett also admitted, under questioning, that he misrepresented himself as a
licensed physician in a previous court case.

These revelations cast serious doubts about Barrett's credibility and
integrity and were major factors in the judge's decision, Negrete stated.

Calling the case a landmark decision for chiropractors and alternative care
providers, Negrete noted that Barrett has made a career out of attacking core
chiropractic values, specifically subluxation, with no scientific basis for his
contentions. This case clearly shows that his opinions about chiropractic or
other health care options are irrelevant.

WCA President Terry A. Rondberg, DC, agreed with Negrete. This is a turning
point not only for Barrett, but for all unscientific and uninformed opponents
who seek to impose the medical monopoly on the public. People around the world
deserve freedom of choice in health care and need valid, unbiased and truthful
information on all options available to them. Thanks in great part to the WCA
legal counsel, Carlos Negrete, they now have a better chance of getting both.

The World Chiropractic Alliance - an international organization representing
doctors of chiropractic - promotes traditional, drug-free and non-invasive
chiropractic to correct vertebral subluxations. The WCA is an NGO
(Non-Governmental Organization) associated with the United Nations Department
of Public Information and publishes the peer-reviewed chiropractic research
journal, Journal of Vertebral Subluxation Research. For more information,

2007-05-18 Thread William Missett
I can attest to the effectiveness of these exe3rcises, and
synchronistically was just preparing to resume doing them, to relieve
pain from a long-standing injury which I have neglected due to the lack of a
chiropractor here in Mexico.

I was intoridced to them 3-4 years ago by my wife, who gave me Kelder's
book, and within two weeks these exercises relieved intense back/pelvis/knee
pain caused by injury resulting from a hammock rope breaking while I was
sleeping.

I believe they can also be found on the internet. Try googling five
tibetans for results.

I hate exercising, but the pain is crippling, and I'm sure doing these
exercises will bring quick relief.

Subject: CSThe Five Rites of Rejuvenation

If anyone is interested, these are excellent exercises for health and
possibly even rejuvenation.

From The Eye of Revelation by Peter Kelder (about 1935) or

The Ancient Secret of the Fountain of Youth or
The Five Tibetans

(Well, I got several requests, so I will write out the instructions for
the 5 rites as I understand them. )

The Five Rites

1. Stand with the arms outstretched. Twirl around to the right (in the
direction that your head turns to look at your right shoulder).

2. Lie on the floor on your back, arms at your side and legs
outstretched. While keeping the small of the back on the floor so as
not to strain the lower back, raise the legs up to a vertical position
(keep them straight). At the same time that the legs are being raised,
lift the head up so that the chin comes to the chest. Also, breathe in.

Breathe out as the head and legs return to the original position.

3. Kneel on the floor. The body above the knees should be straight
and vertical. Place the hands on the lower buttocks, just above the
thighs. Breathe in as the head tips backwards and the back arches
backwards. Keep the shoulders back, the hands on the butt, and the
mouth closed. The bend is mostly in the upper trunk area.

Breathe out as the head moves forward until the chin rests on the chest
and the rest of the body is again upright.

4. Sit on the ground with the feet together and stretched out in
front. The arms are at the sides with the palms on the floor and
fingers pointing forward, in the direction of the feet. Breathe in, tip
the head backwards, at the same time lift the hips off the floor and
roll onto the soles of the feet. The head is tipped back, the body from
neck to knees will be straight and horizontal (parallel to the floor),
the arms and lower legs will be vertical, the palms and soles are
touching the floor, and the toes and fingers point in the same
direction. This is like the crab walk that we used to do in gym
class. (Tense all the muscles of the body and release.)

Breathe out and return to the starting position, but bring the head
forward so that the chin touches the chest.

5. Get into the position as if you were going to do a pushup
(facing the floor, with body straight, upper body supported off the
ground by straight arms with the palms on the floor, fingers pointing
forward, and the lower body supported by the toes and the balls of the
feet.) Breathe out and bend the head backwards and let the hips drop
towards the floor. The legs will be mostly parallel and close to the
floor and the trunk will bend backwards and up, mostly vertical to the
floor. (Tense all the muscles of the body and release.)

Breathe in as the head comes forward so that the chin touches the chest
and as the hips are raised up off the floor, and back. The body will
form a sort of inverted V, the legs are straight, the body is bent at
the hips with the hips being the highest point, the trunk and arms are
straight and form a straight line. (Tense all the muscles of the body
and release.)

The exercises should each be done 21 times, start out with, say, 5 of
each and then add one or two more repetitions a day as your body
strengthens.

If you have trouble with your back, be careful, and don't allow the bend
to go excessively to any vertebrae that has problems. Do you understand
what I mean? Spread out the bend to the whole back, don't let the weak
part do all of the bending.

Once you can do the basic exercise, (don't forget the breathing), at the
part of exercise 4 when the body is raised up off the floor and in the
two extreme positions of exercise 5, all the muscles of the body should
be tensed and then released. Don't do the tensing until you can get the
rest of the movements coordinated.

Re: CSCS gel other burn remedies

2007-05-06 Thread William Missett
Yes, there is another burn remedy, one that I experienced. Rather than
retell the story, I'll provide a short story I've written about the event
(but never sold).

A Folk Medicine Mystery

I'm looking for answers to a folk medicine mystery that has
perplexed me for almost 50 years. I've discussed it with many acquaintances
over the years, but no one has an explanation for its mysterious
effectiveness. Only one person out of the hundreds who have heard this story
could relate a similar occurrence.

It is, by any stretch of the imagination, an incredible yet highly effective
cure for serious burns. However, it is so far outside the realm of modern
medicine that it sounds like voodoo. But believe me, it works. I hope some
expert in folk medicine, or a mainstream burn expert can explain this
phenomenon.

At a recent barbecue, host Bradley was manning the big grills
when he badly burned his left hand. He danced in pain for a few minutes,
swearing several choice phrases. Then he started applying ice and butter to
the burn.

I went over, and told him to put his hand back over the sizzling hot grill.
It'll take the pain away, I said. He looked at me like I was crazy.

No, it will, I swear, I said. He was swabbing butter onto his
hand. I don't doubt that what you're saying is true, he said, but the
last thing I want to do is stick my hand back in the fire.

Then I told him this story:

Back in the 1950s, when I was a teenager, I worked summers at
my father's newspaper plant in Suffolk, Virginia. This one particular
summer I was a printer's devil, an apprentice assistant learning how to make
up the old-fashioned lead type pages used in that era.

Each day I would pack a can of soup and a sandwich to work with me, and when
lunch time rolled around, I'd go into the stereotype department of the
newspaper to heat up my soup. I'd do it by putting it in a pan atop the
molten lead pot, where the metal used to make the newspaper plates was kept
a liquid at 650 degrees. It would boil the soup in less than 30 seconds, so
it was quite effective.

This particular day, I was washing my hands before eating.
While doing so, I was chatting with the two pressmen who ran the press each
afternoon, Jonas Barrett and Willie Moore. They also ran the adjacent
stereotype department, where the cardboard mats imprinted with each page
were transformed into lead plates to be mounted on the press. The mat was
inserted into a casting mold, and the red-hot lead was pumped into the mold
to form the lead page plate.

After the plate is cast, it sits in the mold for a few minutes
while the lead cools about 100 degrees and hardens. Then it is taken from
the mold, and sent through a trimming machine that prepares it for the
press. The trip through the trimming machine takes less than 30 seconds, so
the plate is still extremely hot when it exits the machine. It still must
be handled with heat-resistant gloves.

The sink where I was washing my hands was next to the trimming
machine. There was a smoldering hot page plate, fresh from the machine,
sitting there cooling. I leaned over and placed my hand directly onto the
hot plate. I had just washed and dried my hands, but they were still damp.

A burst of steam boiled up from between my fingers. Instantly,
I could smell my skin burning.

I screamed in pain, and looked at my hand. My skin was ashen
gray from my fingertips to the edge of my palms. I was in agony.

Jonas Barrett ran across the room and grabbed me by the arm,
practically picking me off the floor as he dragged me toward the six-foot
wide metal pot. There, I struggled vainly as he forced my hand down to
within two inches of the smoking molten lead. I couldn't believe what he
was doing. The pain was unbearable.

It'll take the heat away, he said, as I struggled to break
free from his grasp. The pain was searing. It'll take the heat out, he
said, over and over again. I made eye contact with him, and started to
relax a little.

Then I noticed the pain was easing. It didn't hurt quite as
bad. Then, quickly, the pain disappeared. It stopped hurting altogether.
It had been less than 90 seconds. I looked at my hand. It was still
grayish on the surface, but a healthy pink color showed through the skin.

It never blistered, it never peeled, and it never hurt again
from that moment on. I never applied any medicine to the burn, I didn't go
to a doctor. There was no need to do either. My hand felt perfectly normal
less than five minutes after the incident. I ate my lunch, then went back
to work for the full afternoon shift, with little discomfort. I couldn't
believe it then, and I still can't believe it.

In the intervening years, I have suffered several other serious
burns -

From Camelbak's website:

Q: How do I clean the reservoir - and how often do I clean it?
A: The reservoir is very easy to clean for one very important reason -
the entire reservoir and the drinking tube is embedded with silver-ion; a
compound that works constantly to keep the system clean by effectively
eliminating 99.99% of common bacteria and fungus. It doesn't purify the liquid
- it prevents the bacteria from 'sticking' to the wall of the
reservoir/drinking tube thus making cleaning a snap. The silver-ion is
FDA-Approved and EPA-Registered.

My wife has also acquired colloidal silver impregnated food storage containers,

Don't know whether any of this is new to the list, but I'll catch up quickly.

Yet another mainstream silver product:

My wife has just purchased, through the mainstream Sharper Image, a Fresher
Longer Miracle Food Storage unit which contains 12 refrigerator storage
containers constructed of plastic impregnated with nanoparticles of
silver.

They reduce spoilage, reduce mold fungus, are naturally anti-germ
anti-mold, anti-fungus, which reduce the growth of microorganisms by
over 98 percent.

If Sharper Image is selling this stuff, it's proof positive that silver
really works as a germ/bacteria fighter, regardless of what the FDA says or
doesn't say.

These little moths lay eggs in grains at granaries, in your kitchen and

What you have is non irradiated rice...quite normal.
Keep the rice sealed up in the fridge and that won't happen.

I had a niacin flush one time that almost killed me. I'd overnighted at a
girlfriend's house, and helped myself to her vitamins before leaving for the
office. I guess I took 3-4 niacin tabs, which must have been at least 500
mcg each, and was on the freeway when the niacin flush hit.

The rush was so intense I was seeing red. I thought I was having a heart
attack at the very least, because my scalp felt like it was on fire, my face
turned a brilliant red, my pores were steaming, and body body skin felt like
it was in flames. After swerving wildly down my lane, I drove home -- not
to the office -- to die gracefully.

But I got home and it wore off 45 minutes later and I felt a little foolish
after I learned what a good dose of niacin can do to you.

I took niacinamide after that.

I'm no expert, Claire, but I use pretty much the same mix in anything
and on anything.
The quantities vary according to whether I am just topping up a spray
bottle that is running low or starting from scratch. And I would think
about recording my quantities a few days later, when I have forgotten
how much of what I put when.
I'm not terribly happy about using plastic bottles, which get such bad
press, but that's 2006 for you.
I think Daddybob's description of his use of a Xylitol-containing mix
and his sinus clearing is a classic. It got me using Xylitol, that's
for sure.
Personally, I think I would use just the chemicals in the standard mix,
and add the vegetable ones at time of use. Just cautious, I suppose.
Others would know better than I.
No advice on quantities; I do everything by instinct based on what I
vaguely remember from the silverlist. Again, others with the right kind
of brain could advise here.
As for solids - as much as will dissolve in the liquid. Yes, it can
taste strong. I can always dilute with CS if I want to, but I tend not
to. It's only one or two or three sprays at a time, after all. I
breathe in at the time, then out through my nose. I also spray up the
nose when I'm brave enough or accurate enough, or around the outside of
my nose if I'm not (accurate enough). Similarly, in and around the
ears.

If I were starting from scratch now I would have CS as the liquid, or
CS/Himalayan salt brine, with MSM and any other crystalline ingredients
dissolved in it, eg Xylitol, possibly a touch of Borax, or any other
kind of salt or solid I wanted to add for whatever reason.
I know Sol doesn't like me to put salt and CS in the same mix - but I'm
not likely to use two sprays, and I want salt as well as CS. Very small
quantities being used here, anyway, as Terry commented once.
Then I would add my DMSO and H2O2, with quantities according to how
brave I felt at the time. Sorry, but I'm practicing for when I'm a
really old lady.
Then a few days later, when I remember what I forgot to put in, I add
however much I can. Scientific as that.
Why be tense? Look at it as an art form. What happened when medicine
stopped being an art?

Yeah, meals are often an adventure at my house, too. Other times
they're just a chore.

Active research revealed that concentrations of CS as low as 3 ppm
were effective, but rather large volumes were required for rapid-onset positive
results (about 10 ounces initial dosage, followed by another 10 ounces in
approximately 20 minutes). Favorable response WAS NOT a direct effect of
linear increase of PPM strength; e.g. 10 ppm CS yielded favorable results 4X
as rapidly, as did 2 ppm concentrations...for equivalent volumetric
measure.

Flagyl is a rough drug to be giving any one, let alone someone as stressed as

Most of the parasite victins down here are in pretty good shape otherwise, in
relatively good health except for their houseguests.

It's so rough I know people flatly refuse to take it because of its known toxic

casually, no more than absolutely necessary, and watch for negative reactions.

Will the CS kill any of the good bacteria she has been trying to replace

This appeared after she had a colonoscopy. Apparently she picked up

Greetings all,

I'm here to exercise my under-used authority to end off-topic threads:

The Morgellon's discussion should be ended soon or taken to our Off
Topic List (see address in footer and instructions at our web site).

I'm thinking that moving cotton fibers in Q-tips might turn out to be
the kind of distraction that discredits worthwhile commentary on the
subject. I suspect static charges, humidity changes, air currents, and
other normal effects are going to be found responsible for most if not
all such observations. Those mistakes will go on to interfere with the
legitimate efforts of serious investigators.

It sounds to me like the condition is very real. Let's not become
hysterical, or be led astray by distrations, however. There's
definitely an edge of faddishness and hysteria creeping into the
coverage we're seeing.

As new information comes up, particularly from direct experiments or
other worthwhile contributions like Jason's, I hope we'll hear more.

The same goes for chemtrails. There's no need for us to argue if
they're real or not. We happen to have eye witness reports of *some*
activity, and no reason not to believe they're true.

I believe *most* of the observations pointed to as chemtrails are
nothing more than persistent normal contrails. This encourages the
dismissive attitude demonstrated here by PanAmPete, for instance.

Speaking of which, I've had to remind PanAmPete to refrain from
personal attacks, however veiled. Saying, essentially, that people who
believe in (chemtrails, moving cotton fibers, fill in the blank) are
experiencing a mental disorder qualifies as ad hominem, and is not
permissible on the silver list.

You're all free to state your beliefs on these topics. You can be as
persuasive as you can be on your view of reality. Your opinion of the
mental faculties of other members is *not* an acceptable addition to
your argument, however.

I see some great threads on CS basics, CMO results, introducing a
newcomer or two, and welcome Jason's report on a successful treatment.
Let's continue to make good use of the list as a vehicle for sharing
worthwhile alternative health information, with CS as our main topic,
and others being discussed briefly as interest warrants.

Thank you, all.

Be well,

Correction:

Regular processed salt is stripped of 82 of the 84 naturally occuring
minerals and trace elements natural sea salt contains, and this leaves only
sodium and chloride, which will cause health problems if consumed in excess,
and heart problems even if consumed in moderate quantities. (Table salt is
the first thing removed from your diet if you have a heart attack.)

Natural sea salt is far preferred to mined (i.e. Himalayan salt) because it
is (ostensibly) pure, containing none of the excess elements which can be
found in mined salt, due to eons of leaching of localized chemicals and
minerals, such as iron.

breads, cakes, pies, cookies, pastas, etc.I eat 70 to 90% raw fruits and

etc.I put in more cold water fish, baked chicken thighs in my diet.I make my
own soups[quit most canned foods] from scratch.Stop most foods that have
sugar in them;went to Xylitol as a healthful substitute for sugar. No candies
of any kind except some very dark Chocolate,ie 78 to 88 % cocoa.
Some red wine with a meal, cut back on coffee,1 or 2 cups/day.Stay away
from starbucks et al coffees. If other sweetening is wanted, get a good brand
of Honey, preferably from a Bee farmer. Most store Honey is adulterated and
highly processed making it a poor food.I bring in Manuka honey from New
Zealand;costly, yes, but,if you want good health you won't get it by eating
junk.A side benefit of this diet is,a good loss of over-weight.I am down to
156 Lbs. now from 183 lbs. This loss of weight took 4 inches off my
middle, which helped stop my GERD.After the Betaine HCL treatment as I went
on with this change, my need for HCL supplementing declined.I also
supplement with a large variety of Vitamins/minerals,etc. as I believe our
mass produced foods today are sorely deficient in all vital nutrients.
In addition, stop using the regular salt you buy at the store and get
either Sea salt or Himalayan salt.Regular salt is processed at High
temperatures with other adulterants added.Salt = is Sodium Chloride and the
Chloride is what is needed by your stomach to make Hydrochloric Acid. This
Sodium Chloride is in the available form your body can use.

 I hope this helps,be well.

Re: CSShocking a well with CS

2006-05-18 Thread William Missett
Unless you have a huge well, 10 gallons of CS is excessive. You should be
able to do the job with much less, depending on the size of the cistern.
Also, does water flow through the water table?

If you want to get creative, you could drop a couple of silver leads into
the water, with an appropriate amount of electricity, and turn the whole
thing into a CS generator, making the entire well turn into CS. The
electricity flow would probably also irritate (if not eleminate) the iron
bugs.

You could also use colloidal copper, perhaps cheaper, if the CS doesn't eat
the iron bugs.

A question to the Group,

BTW, you guys girls are great, I always read what each has to say or
offer...thank you!

I'm a city slicker turned country boy 'bout 5 years ago. So I have a
well that we use for drinking water. We're lucky? Cause most people
around these parts don't drink their well water, seems they rather truck
in city water (yuk!), anyhoo I suspect they are uneducated about well
maintenance but not all. It is common practice around here to shock your
well with a solution of 15% bleach annually, just to keep the bacteria
in check. When I speak of bacteria I'm not necssarily talking about the
bad ones. The main problem around these parts is iron bacteria. Slimes
up your pipes, stains all the fixtures, makes your water smell like
rotten eggs.

I have a lab test done on my water every year for pathogenic
bacteria...so far negative...but I do have a slight problem with iron
bacteria. I have to admit, I did shock my well with 15% chlorine 5 years
ago and it did work. But now those little pests are resurfacing.

Seeing what I now know about CS, I was thinking about shocking my well
with 10 gal of 15-20 ppm CS rather than going the bleach route (yuk!).

Anybody out there tried this approach and what were your results? All I
can do is try.

I'd appreciate hearing about your experiences. Who knows maybe this
could lead to something more in tune with the cycles of nature for us
country folk.

Re: CSCane or Giant Toad excretion and CS

2006-03-12 Thread William Missett
Actually, Canada, the U.S. and Central America have plenty of its own
poisonous toads, the entire Bufo family.

We live in Mexico, and have lost two dogs and a cat to these toads, some by
direct contact and others from pets drinking water contaminated by the toads
at night. Our vet says he is aware of some 200 dogs dying each year from the
toads, and he sees only those dogs which are properly cared for -- most dogs
here never see a vet.

I've also heard of Bufo toads being abused, then killed, with their skin
(covered with poisonous secretions) then being dried, cut into 1/4-inch
squares, and sold on the Colorado River (a big summer vacation spot for
Californians) for their hallucinatory properties. (This info is from an AP
news dispatch about the arrest of the toad-abusers.)

I live in central Florida and fortunately, we have not
had a problem with the toads...yet. We are overrun in
tree frogs, however and they sit above our window
sills and congregate under the waterhose reels. It's
annoying. It's only become a problem in the last 5
years and I don't know why there is an increase. I've
read about the cane toads, but haven't seen them here
yet.

try to eat it. Human exposures are not usually
fatal but can cause severe

The best method I know to clean iron skillets (which I have and use daily)
when they get too coated with burned food is to scrub them with raw, clean

This cleans the iron down to the original metal, and allows a clean start

The websites below may be useful. I learned by trial and error how to
cook,

and take care of a cast iron pan.
If you find a skillet at the flea marked with 1/4 inch of carbon or more
on
the bottom. Put it in an oven that is self cleaning. Place it upside
down
and leave it in there during the cleaning cycle...It will come out
clean

down to the original iron. Polish it up with metal scrubber. Put some
cooking oil in it while still warm. Take a paper towel and polish it to
remove all the oil you can. Put it in the oven at 350 and bake it for at
least an hour. This will turn the very thin amount of oil on it into
carbon, in effect plating it with carbon. No metal taste. No iron
will

get into the food. and whatever you use to cook an egg, the egg will slide
around on the bottom like non-stick I never wash it, just use the
metal

scrubber to clean it...Not down to the metal, or you will have to cure it
again... Put it back on the stove and dribble a little oil in it and
polish

it back up with a paper towel. Let the pan get hot just in case there are
any beasties there, and use it again.soon you will have a nice plating
of carbon. Never put it in the dishwasher, it will rust and you will have
to cure it again..
Use soap if you must, but do it by hand and make sure you rinse off the
soap

completely then oil it again
The antique pans are the best because they are mush more polished.. The
new

ones available now are rough finished, and can't be properly cured...
Actually, I like the idea of silver plating itnever tried it though..

Hi Wendy,

I remember getting the Visionware at Canadian Tire (cheap!) and at
Zellers in Hanover, Ontario back in the 90's. I know you weren't
supposed to use the green scrubbies (would scratch and dull the
finish on glass) but I got lazy and gently tried to remove the cooked
(sometimes burned) food. It not only dulled the glass but left a
metallic sheen that looked like aluminum. I got ahold of a customer
service rep from Corningware and he said there was aluminum silicate
in the glass as well as in the white corningware products.

We also advise patients to stay away from cast iron due to the many
problems with iron overload (hemachromatosis.) We tell them to use
the stainless steel pots that will stick to a magnet. Today's
stainless steel pots and pans are made with all kinds of alloys
(including the 5-ply, 6-ply and 7-ply ones) and do not adhere to
magnets. Occasionally I'll find a stainless pot or pan at a garage
sale here in Hawaii. When we lived in Canada, it was fairly easy to
find these old cookware at garage sales or swap meets especially in
the smaller towns and villages.

Aloha, Sharie

Digging a bit deeper, it turns out these *were* spam, and they got

I've changed it now so the list server requires an *exact* match to the

Problems with tracheal mites as well as other diseases can certainly be
seen as symptoms of a weakened constitution, the same sort of holistic
perspective we apply to human illnesses. In fact some observers of
commercial beekeeping practices predicted as early as the 1920s the
demise

of honeybees that has occurred in the last 15 years. All bees, including
wild ones, have most definitely been affected by big Ag. with it's
pesticides and the overall degradation of their environment. Its likely
that the phenomenon of swarming has gradually affected wild bee genetics
as well. By the time mites showed up, the bees were already struggling
and thus less able to develop defenses. Of course, conventional
beekeeping as taught at the agricultural extension services virtually
refuses to recognize environmental sources of harm, much less that any of

the methods they promote might be detrimental.

Bill,
Have your fingernail moons returned to normal? I greatly reduced my daily
oral intake of CS (to see if my fingernail moons would un-grey) down to
just swallowing my mouthful of CS 'mouthwash' at bedtime, and didn't do
misting (after all I wasn't exposed to strangers coughing on me) when my
husband was sick for 3 days (he insisted it was just allergies, and I
believed him, doh!). When I developed a mild sore throat, after a hard
day, I didn't up my oral CS that night either thought it could wait until
the next day, as I was too tired that night. Besides it couldn't be a
cold virus, hubby only had allergies, right?

I wonder if I will ever stop being so dumb. CS can't cure or prevent
anything if you don't use it, and apparently it does nothing to cure
stupidity. Blue moons are far preferable to this cold. Which I have now
had for 12 days. Successfully fighting off its attempts to turn into
secondary infections in sinus and lungs so far. But I sure wish I hadn't
screwed up again.

I am yet again convinced Ode is right, once you have definite unambiguous
symptoms it is too late. Once I've got a cold, it has to run it's course.
I've only had 2 since really using CS and have never been able to
short-circuit either one with anything, the only thing I can short-circuit
is the secondary infections.

Your fingernails hold clues to your health. Learn to recognize the signs
that might indicate a health issue. Some nail conditions are harmless. These
include vertical ridges, which may become more pronounced as you age, and white
lines or spots. Spots usually result from injury to the nail plate or nail bed.
In time the white spots will grow out.

Other nail conditions can indicate disease. For example, yellow or green
discoloration in your nails may result from a respiratory condition, such as
chronic bronchitis, or from swelling of your hands (lymphedema). Indentations
that run across your nails, called Beau's lines, appear when growth at the area
under your cuticle is interrupted. This might occur because of an injury or
severe illness, such as a heart attack.

the ridges and she said she hopes they don't mean anything is wrong and showed
me her nails which looked just like mine. They seem to have gotten worse in
the last few months, so CS must not do a thing for them.

Re: CSdental mercury

2006-02-16 Thread William Missett
I had my amalgam fillings removed in the late '80s, after reading a book by a
dentist warning that the mercury fillings were toxic. (He subsequently lost his
dental license, because the ADA is/was in full denial on the subject, since it
has known since the 1840s that mercury would kill you.)

At the time, I knew I was supposed to have a sophisticated treatment procedure,
but since my Rancho Santa Fe dentist wanted $175 per filling, I declined and
went to Tijuana, where a Mexican dentist used part of required removal process
for his and my protection -- a dental dam for me and a powerful fan to blow
away the toxic fumes from him and I. I had about 7-8 mercury fillings removed
over two weekends -- uppers one week and lowers the next. I had them all
removed for what my US dentist wanted to charge for one tooth.

I never had any negative reaction to this procedure, even though I know it was
less than state of the art. I was one of those who should have been very
susceptible to the mercury fumes, since I had experienced intense, prolonged
exposure to mercury as a teenager.

I think the warnings about removal are overblown, to prevent the practice from
becoming universal, and to allow US dentists to charge more for the service.

prior to dental revision. Of those patients treated by our Multi-Disciplined

I've suddenly realized that amalgam removal occurs when for instance a
filled tooth breaks, requiring a crown. I'm remembering my last dental
visit for that particular kind of work--no precautions were taken at all
for the patient (the dentists and staff were well gloved and masked but
only against blood contamination I think). In fact I was surprised to
find that they didn't even have the old chairside sink with running water.
I had to ask for water to rinse with after the entire procedure was over.

The point being that amalgam removal contamination occurs even when
removal isn't the primary purpose.

Yeah, and the worse thing is that the stuff accumulates in the body, and
is very hard to do away with. We are talking mercury hewre!

So amalgam is out-dated as a treatment for teeth.

Is the white stuff we know as composite known to dentistry in America? It
is a white stuff, hardens very hard, is susceptible to leakage, but has no
side-effects, like the risks amalgam takes with it.

CSBad news on bird flu

2005-10-14 Thread William Missett
NEW YORK (AP) - The bird flu virus that infected a Vietnamese girl was
resistant to the main drug that's being stockpiled in case of a pandemic, a
sign that it's important to keep a second drug on hand as well, a researcher
said Friday.

He said the finding was no reason to panic.

The drug in question, Tamiflu, still attacks the vast majority of the
viruses out there, said Yoshihiro Kawaoka of the University of Tokyo and
the University of Wisconsin-Madison. The drug, produced by Swiss-based Roche
Holding AG, is in short supply as nations around the world try to stock up
on it in case of a global flu pandemic.

Kawaoka said the case of resistance in the 14-year-old girl is only one
case, and whether that condition was something unique we don't know.

He also said it's not surprising to see some resistance to Tamiflu in
treated individuals, because resistance has also been seen with human flu.

In lab tests, the girl's Tamiflu-resistant virus was susceptible to another
drug, Relenza, which is made by GlaxoSmithKline.

Kawaoka and colleagues report the case in the Oct. 20 issue of the journal
Nature, which released the study Friday. The researchers conclude that it
might be useful to stockpile Relenza as well as Tamiflu.

I know dentists won't say anything bad about amalgams, and I don't need

good amalgam, let's admit that it becomes hazardous and needs to be
treated accordingly. sigh

Re: CSAmalgam removal...

2005-10-13 Thread William Missett
For those considering this amalgam removal procedure:

Don't enter this process blindly on just the advice of this list. (Although
it's good advice.) There are a couple of good books/booklets on the subject
(but I have no titles now) which give that good advice.

You want a dentist who is familiar with the procedure, because there are risks
to him as well as you. These are the minimal requirements:

1. A dental dam at all times (to prevent amalgam particles from going down your
throat).

2. Extensive ventilation: Because the process spins off billions of amalgam
particles into the atmosphere, they can pollute the ambient air and be inhaled
by all present, including the dentist and his/her assistant.

3. Extra-heavy ventilation of your mouth: While this process is underway, you
have to breath, and the air you breath is going to be polluted with amalagam
particles, so the more pure air you can have forced into your presence, the
better. This is sometimes achieved with #2.

Don't be afraid of the Mexican dentists on the border. They are very
user-friendly, competitive in education and procedures, very competitive in
skills and pricing, and love the American patient. A visual inspection, as
Jill recommended, is mandatory.

Plan on spending a day or two on the border while you're having this done. You
will enjoy your exposure to Mexican culture while you are getting your
poisonous fillings removed. You may not be able to get all done in one visit,
(they'll do uppers one day, lowers the next) to limit their/your exposure to
mercury dust.

Hope this helps...Bill

corollary idea is that a deficiency of these nutrients
contributes to a susceptibility to argyria

After that siege, my nails turned very dark blue/gray, and the new growth
was disturbed, as if the buildup of silver in the cuticles was interfering
with the proper production of the new nail. It has not affected all nails,
only about half, and some of them worse than others. It's unslightly more
than anything else. I probably have enough CS stored up in my cuticles to
make me bullet-proof for the next six months.

When I was sure of what was happening, I stopped my daily consumption of CS,
and have been waiting for my nails to grow back out, so I could see how this
approach affected the gnarly nails I have grown. They seem to be clearing
some but not all. (I've been off it for two months now) But it will be
several more months before I'm sure this is a temporary condition.

Perhaps I should have disclosed this earlier, but I was waiting until I

want to freak everybody out, particularly the newbies. In my prior
blue nail episode, a decline in consumption cleared them in several
months.

I'll keep you posted.

Re: CScolloidal silver and mold

2005-10-04 Thread William Missett
We have a solar-powered Floatron, which has a 4-inch long 2-inch wide
solid copper bar, which imparts copper ions to the water through the weak
electrical discharge produced by the solar-cells.

It takes about three weeks before it builds up the copper content of the
water to the point where it works properly. We still use a minimal amount
of clorine tabs, but far less than otherwise required.

It's pricey, but worth it in just a year's time. We are on our third year
with our original Floatron. I live on the Pacific Coast of Oaxaca, where
algae will bloom in your bathroom cup.

Hi Elaine. If you don't have any DMSO then you
might want to get some pronto. CS with DMSO will
probably do the job for you. Usually folks will
keep the area at the base of the nail wet with a
mix of cs and dmso. If this is too slow for you
or you feel it isn't working, you can use diluted
50/50 oregano oil (diluted with olive oil or
safflower or other bland oil), full strength tea
tree oil, GSE (very good for fungus). Use DMSO
with all the above. The proportions aren't
rocket science, just get them on the toe, nail,
and maybe below--won't hurt and will help. This
is not to be considered medical advice--I have no
degrees or certificates in any field of medicine.
What I do have is personal experience and this
stuff has worked for me. Best wishes, pj
ps electricity works too--see

Re: CSCS Results on Cut

2005-07-12 Thread William Missett

About four years ago, I suffered a 2.5-inch long cut on my wrist from a dog
bite with a broken tooth, which sliced to the bone on my wrist for a full
inch. The open wound was fully 1/2 inch wide at its broadest point.
Initially, I cleaned it with hydrogen peroxide, applied Microdyn and triple
anti-biotic ointment.

Afterward, I used only CS on it. I did not go to a doctor, because he
would have insisted on stitching it, and you are never supposed to suture an
animal bite. Within three days, the wound had closed tight, and never
exhibited any signs of infection (I live in tropical Mexico, where
infections will turn an untreated scratch into an oozing pit in days). I
now have a fine-line 2.5-inch scar which is barely big enough to see, thanks
to CS.

Last week I had some good news and some bad news.

The bad news was that I found that I had run into the edge of a door
frame with my forehead... (Don't ask me how! It was a freakish and
somewhat embarrassing accident ;-))
This was hard enough to make me see stars, rattle my teeth and produce
a 1 inch vertical gash in my forehead. However, this was almost worth
it after seeing the expression on the face of the pizza delivery man as
I paid for my pizza with one hand clapped to my forehead while the blood
slowly oozed out between my fingers...

The good news is that I remembered I had CS/EIS (along with a few other
things).

I slapped a piece of gauze on the gash, held it in place with a piece
of tape, and saturated it with some CS which I had made for my friend,
finished off the pizza and then drove home.

When I got home a popped a 600 GDU Bromelain capsule which probably
only succeeded in digesting my pizza, but I made sure to take another
before bed on a relatively empty stomach. This was to reduce any
swelling and bruising. Also took bromelain next morning and evening and
morning again. I put two small butterfly bandages like one would use
instead of stitches to hold the wound together and then covered with
gauze and kept it wet with homemade CS. I kept it wet as much as
possible for the next few days.

By day 4 it was closed up and by day 5 completely closed and healed
without a scab. After that I put aloe vera from a plant on it once,
castor oil a couple of times, and some DMSO a couple of times also.
After a week and a half it is barely visible but I am sure there will be
a very fine white scar eventually which you might be able to see if the
light is right.

Hi Rich,

Here are the test results and some necessary commentary.

Spectrophotometry is a commercial color test for measuring the amount of
silver ions lost in the wash water of the silver plating industry,

Since 1989 I have made over 800 tests for silver ions. The human body
cannot use silver colloids, only silver ions that combine with to form
compound. You do not make colloidal silver. What you make is a silver
hydro-sol or a silver solution.

Four tests were made:
#1. One drop of Microdyn in one liter of DW. indicated ionic content is
0.33 PPM.
#4. Seven drops added to the about (suggested use was to wash vegetables
or fruits)
measured ionic content 2.2 PPM. which correlates well with #1
(0.33x8= 2.64)
#2. One cc of Microdyne in 50 c DW (standard test for silver ions), when
mixed with the
reagent chemicals a bright red color produced indicating a high
ionic content.
When 500/1 solution was added to bleach it turned black. (it should
have become
colorless). Diluting the remaining red solution 2/1 it became
colorless. It should have

 been less red. Something wrong.
#3. Test #2 two repeated, but when adding the solution to the reagent
chemicals a foam
developed. (never seen this before) The mix became a very dark red
indicating high ionic
content. The 50/1 solution was diluted to 200/1 so that the product
would be in the test
equipment measuring range. The test proceeded normally and indicated
a 70 PPM

 ionic silver content.

For the newbies a European greenhouse test showed that a 20-40 PPB
(billion) was very
effective in eliminating cucumber Mosaic and the owner reported that he
had need seen such large cucumbers.

The Hawkins Jensen report of several years ago showed that a 3 PPM was 10
to 50 times more effective that 10 or 20 PPM in invitro testing of
bacteria and virus.

Re: CSmercury and silver

2005-05-30 Thread William Missett
The use of amalgam fillings has been controversial since they were introduced
in the 1840s. One group of dentists opposed its use because mercury was known
to be poisonous then. They were opposed by another group of dentists who
wanted amalgam because it was cheaper and more patients could afford amalgam
fillings. Those dentists won, and went on to become the American Dental
Association, which champions mercury fillings and opposes any dentist who tries
to expose the dangers of mercury fillings.

All you have to do is look at the way dentists handle amalgam fillings -- they
never touch it, do not breath its fumes, and put all scrap amalgam and old
fillings in a deep container of water to prevent its harmful affects from
sickening the dentist. But then they put it in our mouths and tell us it's
safe!!

I had all mine taken out 30 years ago. My dentist wanted $175 per tooth to do
it, I went to Tijuana for $25 a tooth.

I had no idea.
Over the last couple of years I've had them out by a dentist who used all the
safest methods, with a thing on my nose dispensing oxygen to make sure I didn't
get the fumes and stuff up my nose, I suppose. This dentist's wife died of
Motor Neurone Disease recently. One of the things that weighed on his mind was
the connection that has been made between mercury and this cruel illness.
Was at my homeopath today; not a lot wrong with me any more. Only two probs
showed up - candida and mercury.
Not a lot of metal left in my mouth, just a bit of shiny stuff behind a false
front tooth attaching it to the other front tooth. I asked this enlightened
dentist (not the one who put it in) what was likely to be in this metal. I
can't tell you, Rowena, he said. For all we know it might be a bit of melted
down car bumper bar from Bosnia. (Why Bosnia? Dunno.)
Quite what was happening in my mouth with the metal fillings I shudder to
think - but it felt electrical.
One day I'd like to sort out some other way to fill the gap in front than a
bit of plastic hiding a bit of old scrap metal. Don't know what, though.

So what's in gold fillings, I wonder - besides gold?

My previous dentist championed amalgam, used for centuries, he said, though
I understand the formula has been changed for the worst in recent times anyway
- so much for centuries!. At my requeest, he supposedly removed the amalgam
from the bicuspid next to my eye tooth, which had been making my tooth look
dark and horrible whenever I smiled. When the filling was done, he said, The
amalgam has stained the tooth. Oh well. Tough. It didn't really look any
better than before.

When the good dentist removed the new, white filling from this particular
tooth, he told me that the other dentist hadn't actually removed all the
amalgam. I couldn't help wondering whether it was because it was too dangerous
for him. I could not believe that he was ignorant of the problems with
amalgam, yet he spouted the party line to me about amalgam's safety, though in
a very uncomfortable manner. I quite frankly don't think he believed it.
  I certainly didn't. But I'm very polite. I didn't contradict him.
But I never went back to him, either.

  Rowena

This is the most ignorant post I have ever seen on this site! In the first
place, a mercury filling cannot exist unless you had had your body
cryogenetically frozen to minus 100- 200 degrees Fahrenheit and you'd be dead!
Mercury is a liquid metal !! In the second place, there are silver FILLINGS,
silver INLAYS, and silver CAPS. These last two are prepared by making a proper
cavity in the tooth, casting a plastic or rubber male image of the cavity,
sending it to a foundry to have a metal alloy (800 fine, 900 fine, 925 fine)
silver inlay or cap cast which can then be cemented to the tooth. An inlay or
a cap is a piece of noble metal and has no mercury in its composition.

AMALGAMS, on the other hand, (Fillings to you folks from Rio Linda), consist
of precisely measured finely divided (ground up) silver powder, and a correctly
proportioned amount of liquid mercury to allow total molecular(?) amalgamation
so there is no leakage of mercury and no release of finely ground silver sand.

I was told that if one has mercury fillings that according to Anrew Cutler
the silver binds to mercury as it does in silver fillings and therefore it
would be highly toxic for anyone to use CS who has mercury fillings. I am not
able to remove my 7 fillings at this time because the lyme has hit my
scalp, neck and heart causing severe muscle contractions and spasms making
sitting in the dental chair difficult. I have known people to improve with
mercury fillings and others not improve who removed them. But, I'd like to know
about the above concern fo usingCS if you have mercury fillings. I also have
been informed that chlorella and selenium should not be used during CS usage
because they would chelate out the CS that your trying to get therapeutic
results with. Any Thoughts?

Re: CSCS for Pools?

Yes, I have experience. CS alone will not keep a pool clear because algae
loves CS. You need to use a copper solution to kill the algae.

The CS will kill all bacteria in the pool, but not the algae. We use a
pricey solar panel unit which floats in the pool, and produces copper
colloid of some sort through the voltaic action.

Works pretty well for the tropics, where everything grows five times faster
than normal.

I've also use the algaebar (a copper bar with a silver band that generates
both colloidal copper and colloidal silver) but they are so small that you'd
need a bunch for a normal-sized pool.

They are costly $25 each, but can probably be made cheaply from heavy copper

The Floatron works well, but takes several weeks before the colloidal copper

Matthew,
What is .1 M? How does that translate into ppm?

I didn't mean to imply that silver didn't accumulate
in the body, the Blue Bloods demonstrated that.
Peter Lindeman's testing concerned the accumulation of
colloidal silver (EIS). Of course silver powder,
probably silver compounds, and maybe even very large
particle, coffee-colored CS (such as Stan Jones
brewed) could accumulate, but in all those cases, it
would seem to be because of the large particle size,
and none of those three categories is colorless.

In the case of silver nitrate, although it is
colorless, it has a distinct staining property, which
would certainly account for it causing argyria. See:

http://www.espimetals.com/msds's/Silver%20Nitrate.htm

Effects of Exposure: Caustic and irritating to the
skin and mucous membranes. Absorption over a long
period may cause argyria (grayish discoloration of
various tissues). Industrial argyria may be local,
involving formation of gray-blue particles on the skin
or in the conjunctivae, or generalized, in which the
uncovered skin becomes pigmented. Ingestion can cause
severe gastroenteritis.

Also:
http://www.epa.gov/pesticides/biopesticides/ingredients/factsheets/factshee
t_072503.htm

Silver nitrate is a non-food-use active ingredient
that is not toxic to humans. Applicators are
instructed to use gloves to protect against contact
with the skin because silver nitrate can discolor
skin.

The staining property of silver nitrate seems to set
it in a separate class as far as argyria goes, since
its lack of color could be unrelated concerning its
argyria-causing potential. Would it be causative of
argyria if it had no staining property?

Are there other silver preparations that you are aware
of that are scientifically implicated in the occasion
of argyria?

Re: CSmicrodyn mexico search on dogpile does yeild a bunch

2005-05-12 Thread William Missett
I have no knowledge of exactly how it is made, except that Dr. Alex Torres
provided information some time back that it was produced in some advanced form
of milling process, perhaps that which Matthew just referred to in his post. I
don't know the purity of the silver used either.

The smaller bottles (15 ml) indicate that what is made from twice-distilled
water, food coloring from animal source (probably cow liver) so it will look
like iodine, and either 0.3200 or 0.3600 percent colloidal silver. The 1-liter
size of Microdyn indicates it is made of 0.048 percent colloidal silver. Those
figures have been extrapolated to 3200ppm, 3600ppm, and now, apparently,
480ppm. But according to senior list members here, Microdyn has never been
tested for its true ppm, or its actual composition, ionic or otherwise.

What I do know is that I've been consuming it for eight years, and the stuff
works like magic.

Re: CSmicrodyn mexico search on dogpile does yeild a bunch

2005-05-12 Thread William Missett
I would be happy to provide Frank with samples of Microdyn (and other CS
products in Mexico) for testing. I made this offer several years ago, and
whoever responded (I can't recall who it was) offered to do the testing for $35
a pop. If Frank or someone else wants some Microdyn for testing to determine
just what ppm it is and whether it's ionic or supersonic, to settle this
burning debate, I'll be happy to ship him a 15ml bottle to him. This is not
an open offer to the list, just those with quality testing equipment.

Hello All listers,
I have a simple but very effective cure for plantars warts.

Buy some vitamin oil capsules from your local health food store, break
open

enough capsules to wet a pad of cotton or similar material, place the pad
on the warts, and pull on a sock and leave it on as long as you can, the
warts

may become very sore, and you will find that they will drop out or can be
scratched out with your finger nail and come away very easily.

CSMicrodyn dosage

2005-05-10 Thread William Missett

My experience has been to put 3-4 DROPS in drinking water daily. We have
bottled water, so that's easy to do. Otherwise, you can simply consume 3-4
drops in a glass of water daily. This is a good daily maintenance dosage.

This will help prevent many illnesses, but when illness does strike, from
food poisoning, salmonella, e-coli., etc., I have found that 8-10 drops in
a glass of water 3 times daily will effectively kill off most intestinal
infections in 24 hours. ALWAYS extend treatment for another day, after
symptoms subside.

Microdyn can also be used full strength, applied to cuts and scrapes, and
for external//internal infections in eyes, ears, nose, throat, vaginal, and
rectal. You might dilute it somewhat for the eyes, particularly in
children.

Hope this helps. The small (15-ml.) bottles last a month with normal use.

Study: Meanness in Girls Can Start at 3
ASSOCIATED PRESS

SALT LAKE CITY (AP) - Meanness in girls can start when they still are
toddlers, a Brigham Young University study found. It found that girls as
young as 3 or 4 will use manipulation and peer pressure to get what they
want.

It could range from leaving someone out to telling their friends not to
play with someone to saying, 'I'm not going to invite you to my birthday
party,' said Craig Hart, study co-author and professor of marriage,
family
and human development at BYU. Some kids are really adept at being mean
and
nasty.

They regularly exclude others and threaten to withdraw friendship when
they
don't get their way.

The mean girls are highly liked by some and strongly disliked by others.
They are socially skilled and popular but can be manipulative and
subversive
if necessary. They are feared as well as respected.

The study is the first to link relational aggression and social status in
preschoolers. It appears in the current issue of the journal Early
Education
and Development. David Nelson and Clyde Robinson of BYU are the other
authors.

Researchers have long known that adolescents, particularly girls, engage
in
this sort of behavior, called relational aggression, to maintain their
social status.

In fact, a number of books and movies have come out recently exploring
this
phenomenon, including the best-selling Queen Bees and Wannabes and the
movie Mean Girls.

But it is striking that these aggressive strategies are already apparent
... in preschool, Nelson said. Preschoolers appear to be more
sophisticated in their knowledge of social behaviors than credit is
typically given them.

Hart said other research has found that about 17 percent to 20 percent of
preschool and school-age girls display such behavior. It also shows up in
boys, but much less frequently.

The typical mantra is that boys are more aggressive than girls, but in
the
last decade we've learned that girls can be just as aggressive as boys,
just
in different ways, he said.

The researchers asked 328 preschool children to rate their peers.

They asked which children were most likely to start fights, which were
most
popular and which were most physically aggressive-

The surveys found that even in preschool, a social hierarchy exists.

You have popular kids, you have average kids, and you have kids (whom)
others don't like to play with. Then there are some kids who just fly
below
the radar, Hart said.

Other research at BYU has shown that physically and relationally
aggressive
children are more likely to have parents who discipline with psychological
control and manipulation, withdrawing love, avoiding eye contact and
laying
guilt trips on the kids.

With relational aggression, we are early on in trying to tease apart
these
relationships, Hart said.

One thing researchers do know is that childhood slights can have lasting
impacts.

Hart said the study may help teachers and parents key into relational
aggression and the psychological and emotional trauma it can cause. Just
as
they do with physical aggression, adults need to monitor such behavior and
help children recognize the harm it can cause.

We've done studies showing that reasoning with children, not just one
time
but taking lots of opportunities to reason with them about how their
behavior is affecting others, can help diminish it, Hart said.

Re: CSMicrodyn dosage

2005-05-10 Thread William Missett

Microdyn is a common CS preparation sold in Mexico to prevent cholera, clean
impure water, and wash vegetables. It is available cheaply throughout the
country in markets and pharmacies.

The patent is held by the Mexican government, and it has been in national use
since the 1960s. It purportedly is 3600ppm, but it has not been reliably
tested. A 1-ounce (15ml.) bottle costs about $1. There are other brands of
supposedly equally potent CS available, but Microdyn has proven safe for me,
and I don't use the others.

There is no cholera in Mexico, nor any other infectious diseases coming across
the border from this Third World country into the U.S, and I credit Microdyn
for this.

Hi,
I have been on this list forever and make colloidal silver and this list
has so many wise people on it that was wondering what list that I could go
to that would help us know what to do with my granddaughter who will be 16
soon. It is not just being a teenager since she has always had a bad
character. She makes my daughter miserable and she told her that she
didn't love her or her father any more and that all she wants from them is
financial support. They just bought another house in a upscale
neighborhood, she said she was ashamed to have friends over to her other
house. She harped and harped on this and now it is a suv, her other
friends that have turned 16 have a used SUV. It's like she gets in my
daughter's ear and repeats the same thing over and over. She is beautiful
and is good in sports and makes good grades. My daughter teaches at the
high school that she goes to.
Last night she called my daughter at 10 PM and wanted her to come and get
her at her friends house and she didn't do this and this morning when she
picked her up she started in on the suv again. They had gone to a store
and granddaughter called her a dumb but) loud enough for people to hear.
This is so severe that my daughter called me this morning crying and said
that she made her so miserable that she wishes she had never been born.
Her father is a military man and tends to ground her for long periods
which punishes my daughter also to have her around all the time. He wanted
to ground her last week and I got into it and told my daughter that if you
are too strict sometimes it backfires and she begged him not to ground
her, I probably should not have gotten into it. In the halls at the school
she told my daughter that she wasn't going to swim practice to be a life
guard and she told her she wasn't going and she told her she had to and
granddaughter looked at her real mean and said Make Me. Well she did go
because her father picked her up and took her. She doesn't mess with him
and says she hates him. Now this is a normal family in ever other way she
has two younger sisters and my daughter says if it wasn't for them she
would think she was a total failure. Talking to a Psychologist would not
be the thing because she knows it all and would not talk to him, I think
she needs medication. HELP

Sorry for this long post
