Hi Dennis and Mary, 

You do not have the same model as I do.

Mine has no slide switch. The power on/off is right on the hinge if you will, 
of the earpiece and boom microphone. There are three buttons on the microphone 
that are in the same order as what you describe.

And oddly enough, the mute button when held is for Siri.

This has a magnetic connection for the charger.

So, it could be we have the same brand, but they made some slight change?

Again, this is the GEESTRAC HSP-B3.

I will check if there is a more detailed model number.

guess I would call it the boom mic. It’s not on the mic exactly. It’s a push 
button. I had a Plantronics that had a similar button. And as I recall, that’s

Hi Dennis and Mary,
You do not have the same model as I do.
Mine has no slide switch. The power on/off is right on the hinge if you will,
of the earpiece and boom microphone. There are three buttons on the microphone
that are in the same order as what you describe.
And oddly enough, the mute button when held is for Siri.
This has a magnetic connection for the charger.
So, it could be we have the same brand, but they made some slight change?
Again, this is the GEESTRAC HSP-B3.
I will check if there is a more detailed model number.

richard and Dennis, and possibly others, have bought recently. I bought one 
from Amazon which came today. I wonder what the order of those buttons is that 
are on the ear peace. There are four of them. Mine is charging right now. I 
know you get a mute button and I believe two volume buttons and I presume the 
other one is on and off. I suppose trial and error will allow me to figure that 
out but I thought I would ask anyway. Did I read somewhere that the mute button

Sorry, I do not know what would be similar.
I read through all kinds of descriptions, and when I found one that sounded 
like it had the features I wanted, I tried it. The first one I tried was not 
good at all. I don't even remember the brand. It was about $18.
Since Amazon, at least here, makes it easy to return items, I'm not worried 
about being stuck with something.
I sent that one back, and tried this one, and am quite happy with it.

tolerance level.
You have to go through their Product page/ask a question to contact them, which 
I wish was easier.
But, in the few days I’ve had it, I have no need to contact them.
I have not tried connecting to a second device as yet.
