Hello everybody,
I installed Remedy 9 on Parallels (Virtual Windows Box) on my Mac. Everything
works just fine but it's a high resolution screen and for some reason on fields
in the Developer Studio are overlapping. Any idea whether this can be fixed?

I find the default ini settings work way better than then have in the
past. I still tend to increase the heap some. Since I bounce from
different machines there have been a few times I looked at the ini file and
was surprised to find it still the default. Apparently it was working
well enough
I spoke too soon. Had 4 object lists open from 2 different servers then opened
5 objects, including a large form. Crash. re-sized heap in the ini as before.

Has anyone operating the newer Dev Studio client encountered the java/memory
issue known to exist in previous versions that required you to increase a

in 7.5, I don't believe that you 'point' the Dev Studio to a particular Java.
The best way I have found is to ensure that the 32 Bit Java is in your path
before the 64 Bit.

I tried to remove all permission of AL and added it again. but same warning
appears again. Because of this issue , newly added field mapping in push

The Documentum says The Db-Case-Insensitive option in the ar.conf (ar.cfg)
file was improved.
Again, the option was available with v7.6.04 as well, but

have been made to improve the performance of BMC Remedy Developer Studio during

•Loading the object list of the active link guide
•Expanding all panels in the workflow and guide editors

has a huge problem with Flashboards Variables. Other things may load faster,

Making it a habit of only loading one server per instance, and always using
its dedicated workspace for us has eliminated corrupt workspaces, and the
null pointer errors.

The error I was getting is a null pointer error which I am thinking is probably
because the programmer hasn't assigned a variable or not checked if a value or
null. But could be it is running out of memory. I will try. Thanks for tip.
