It's a bit strange the way they're pitching this device. Calling it a smart watch and such. As far as I can tell it's a mobility aid, but nowhere does it say that. When  I first heard it described as a smart watch, I thought it connected to the net and stuff as well as having a sonar sensor function. I can only assume they're avoiding the term mobility aid to distinguish it from other similar devices. I'd like to try it out to see if it's better than the miniguide, but I'm not convinced it would be. It'd be more convenient to have it as a wrist band rather than on a lanyard like the miniguide, but I'm not sure how much having it on the wrist would limit where you can point it. The useful thing about the miniguide is you can point it at a 90 degree angle to the direction you're walking, which is great for going around corners and stuff. As you walk around the corner, you can keep adjusting the angle until you find the straight 
 again. Having it on the left wrist, how easy would it be to direct the beam horizontally 90 degrees to the right across your body, and then continue to adjust it to sort of feel your way around a corner/obstacle. Imagine having a torch on the wrist and trying to direct the beam as effectively as if you had a torch in the hand. Also what happens when you're wearing long sleeves, do you have the wrist band over your clothing. That's not going to be very convenient when wearing a coat. I'd love to do a comparison of the two devices, but given the postage costs to the UK, I'd probably end up losing quite a bit of money if I had to return it. And being outside the EU, they could well decide to charge a 20% restocking fee, or even just offer me store credit, both of these has happened to me in the past.

That one is easy, just make anew folder and call it something like NVDA and install it into that folder.I have two separate folders, one for snapshots and another for the official NVDA release incase I need to copy it to a flash drive.You can either use narator to find the folder or memorise the path and type it into the run dialog.

what happened was after it installed and restarted it went to the standard out of the box set up screen where it asks for username, time, etc. But the screen reader was no longer functioning at that point, so how do you get past those screens?

I'm sure if they could refund us, they would. Hell, I'm sure if they could just put the ipa's up on a site in light of them being pulled from the store, they would. The truth is, Apple of course takes 33% of every purchase, so it's not like all the purchase money went through to a single Paypal account. Second, Apple themselves didn't refund us when they were pulled. If you want y $0.02 worth, as far as handling discontinued apps is concerned, both Apple and Google suck at handling them. I say Google too because a text to speech engine I paid money for was discontinued and pulled from the store, never got a refund, and fortunately was able to get the app back thanks to an old phone backup on my hard drive that had the apk in it. I couldn't do that on an iphone because the IPA files have drm. And even if I got it to work on my device, it wouldn't on anyone elses. So that's the situation as it stands, unfortunately the games left without a tra
 ce as far as Apple is concerned.

I like visual studio with python because i can use code completion and manage indentation quite easily. Also i'm using the python profiler with it (sometimes it is a bit buggy). The only disadvantage is, that you cannot use cython with it.

Oh, I din't know narrator would work on those screens. Think I tried it one time. It didnt work, though it may well have been because the on-board sound wasn't working. ok,   when you go on the map the screen you are on has a 4 field radius.   So for example, 1 field away would be a castle literally next door to yours.Swiping 3 fingers in any given direction takes you 5 fields per swipe.  hope that helps.As far as I am aware lk is not accessible on android sadly.

Braille Plus 18 anyone?

Hey folks,Was wondering if anyone here could help me out with this. I recently got my hands on an old Braille Plus 18, second generation, for hardly any money at all. Even though the device has been discontinued, I figured the price was cheap enough that I could at least have a basic note taker by grabbing this one. Alas, this thing seems to be rather more than just your basic note taker... And the way it's set up right now looks way different from the apparently out of date manual. For one thing, the manual says this device runs Android 2.3, but the one I've got is running Android 4.4.4. Was there an update posted for the device that was never reflected on APH's website? Thing is, there are no online resources whatsoever for the device, as APH seems to have pulled everything. Does anyone know what the latest news for this thing is, or have a suggestion on where to find the latest complete version of the software or something? I truly have no clue what I'

I searched this error on Google and found one topic on Audiogames, where you sayd, that it can be by 32-bit dll, and replacing it with 64-bit may help. So what exactly am I supposed to do? Diablo isn't roguelike though again there is a great example of a game system that has some aspects of roguelikes, eg, random procedural generation of maps and items and a huge amount of solo dungeon crawling, but no ascii graphics  and active time based combat.Dle is one I didn't consider, though again your  correct in that it could belong to a possible new procedurally generated rpg definition if we decide to have one.

For the hyper yoyo, you have to have beaten the game, and I think you need to have all three of the previous yoyos:, the yoyo, triple yoyo and super yoyo. After you've beaten the game, if you go to the secret landing on 6-1, where the switch is to get the first yoyo, it'll be lying on the ground somewhere. The gravity killer is dropped by the extra large battleship in later modes, but I think there's another way to get it involving the dial on 18-3. I believe the chaos flare is dropped by one of the bosses on 25-5 but it must be in the very advanced modes because I've beaten all the modes up as far as but not including no future, and I've yet to see it. Not sure about the gigavolt laser. Don't know how levelled up the spirit sword has to be before the blade and fork appear, I just know they are offered to you at some point when you're leaving the bonus shop where the spirit sword is.

Like Blair Witch, it was a bit weak in parts, but definitely had its creepy moments. Does anyone have any recommendations for good audio described horror? I have access to the blind mice vault. Wish I could find an AD version of American Werewolf in London. It was one of the first horror films I watched as a kid and have a bit of a soft spot for it, and would love to revisit it with AD. I've usually seen that error when its linking to the wrong openal binary. If you have regular OpenAL from Creative installed, python will link to that instead of the OpenAL Soft binary in the examples folder. Well first I want to thank everybody for the help. I've got another question. I finally beat the bear, woo! In level 2 I almost got stuck in the last room of the community center with the switch but I got to it using the camera. I finally found out what stamina's for.So my question is about the monster generator. Any hints on getting up to it? I don't see any walls/platforms to jump on to at height two or three, which is as high as you can jump to, I think. I guess I can just keep killing the monsters it generates and see if something new happens, but I'm guessing that's not the trick.
