What I'm saying is that all *I* see, and there is the emphasis on my understanding, which is limited to reading about later versions and watching this list, is that CF basically has advanced in its data handling capability. From what I can tell, the tools used are more capable, like CFC's, etc.

Regardless, I would suggest you install CF7 locally to play with alongside youé 4.5/5 install and start to learnd/look at CFCs etc and the way CFMX apps are built as in the most part they are very different, you don't want to move to 8 just for some widget only to find that you haven't got a clue
