I run KYBs on my 65 Elky and have been very satisfied. I just finished my 64 Tempest and mounted Edelbrock IAS shocks. They also seem to work real well. They feel somewhat stouter than the KYBs, but not at all harsh. Either would be a good choice for street performance. Mike Holleman

Graham, there should be a line up hole thru the center of the shifter. Hurst provides a plastic line up pin but a drill bit or allen wrench will work. All three shafts should be centered with the pin slid in place and then adjust your linkage arms to fit into their holes. No guess work. Mike -
