I have two inexpensive 5MP cameras. One a Kodak, one a no name.
I am the club secretary for the local Kiwanis club and take pictures
of our speakers each week. Took some with the no name and then some
with the Kodak and the Kodak's are always superior.

MP is not a good indicator of quality. I have a 2MP with a good lens that

Good point. I would bet that it has everything to do with limited
bandwidth. Unfortunately, this is the package that is sold by the
vendor, so both elements tend to get the blame. I'm sure that Nokia
makes a great phone but if it's bandwidth is throttled back so much

We have a large coverage by Verizon in this area, and they pretty
much have the best service here.

Proprietary (read RIM)...if you are a fan, go for it...
Palm based (read basic PIM, calendar, etc. w/sync & some functionality with
add-on software packages some free of which there are many)...huge amount of
free software to add on...
Smartphone... (based on wind

The Nokia E51 is a superb phone that will do everything you're looking
for. It's a quad-band GSM with WCDMA that works in Europe. It is small
and light. The downside is that it has a standard keypad so texting or
emailing is a bit tedious, even with predictive text capabilities.
