I am using Imail/Declude VirusJunkmail as a gateway for my mail server.
Works wonderfully on mail coming in.
I'd like to route all outbound mail through the Imail/Declude gateway but only to
virus check. I guess I'd like to exclude Junkmail testing on the IP Address of my mail
server.

One of my most important text filters is the BODY search
I working on trapping more Nigerian Scams.
Is there any way to limit a filter a minimum weight. If the Nigerian filter gets
tripped for at least 3 points, I would like for it to be implemented. If it is less
than 3 points, I'd like to ignore the filter.

There is a BASE64 test that part of Declude.
I don't weight it very highly. For my company so far in April, 10% of the items that
failed the BASE64 test were non-SPAM e-mails. The 10% are predominately .gov, .edu and
states with a .us TLD.

Can the maxweight / minweight be changed in the middle of a filter?

I believe you need to add the IP address of the GW server to your hosts file for
resolution.
You are pulling out an MX record somewhere that is saying send to the Trend server. At
least that's how I get to my GW server.

Are you positive they gave you the correct IP address of the GroupWise server. They
may be accustomed to handing out the IP address of the Trend server.
Their firewall could be redirecting all port 25 traffic to the trend micro machine.

You could have them assigned with a 0 weight in the global.cfg.
You can then use your filters to assign weights as described below.

Here's a filter that has been working good to credit good gov (mailfrom and revdns
both .us)

strong test like sbl/sniffer/spamcop.

We've seen more and more junk getting through on our servers. No doubt our
config files are not up to date.
I've downloaded the latest patch with the included
only need to maintain this list in one
area. I used to do END statements in all of my filters and updating them was a pain.
Now one statement ends across all of the body filters (while most, virus hoax, phish
and malware filters always get run).
Sorry I'm rambling...
