I'd be very careful before I let this app lose on my MP3 collection.
Make sure you have a backup and test the Case conversion action on a
couple of files before doing a Ctrl-A.
Unless set up correctly this app will strip tags from files. Also, the
help is useless.

Just that I had a similar problem with the WAP54G AP where on the
previous FW MAC address vanished. The latest version 3.04 has fixed
this problem but this is an AP not a router.

developer) has put in should make using it pretty tolerable with
minimal page reloads.

the search accidentally just by pressing the right arrow a couple of
times. But it was very difficult to cancel, because *all* the
characters needed to be deleted with the left arrow separately. This

conveniently and automatically built and maintained for me by
Slimserver based on my tags.
That characterization is as self-serving as it is inaccurate. Slim
collects limited information from file tags and allows -zero-
It's behind flap number 2 :-)

Clearly the database is the tags in the songs themselves. That's the
real data. So what you put into the tags, or how you change the tags
with a tagger like Tag Rename or whatever, that's the real data.

file to a new place in the directory hierarchy (or to another machine)
nothing ensures that the detached data moves with the file.

I have a SB3 which has been working perfectly since January. No
glitches whatsoever until today.
I usually keep it powered off (disconnected from the supply) when not
in use.
I powered it up today as usual and it couldn't find SlimServer. Turned
out the computer where SlimServer is
I forgot to mention I left the SB3 unplugged for a few minutes and then
plugged it back. It did nothing.
Right now, it's warm to the touch like it usually is when working
normally. Thinking about letting it cool down for more time, perhaps a
few hours...

Your ripper -should- number things with leading 0's so that they sort

I kept the key pressed before and after plugging in the connector.
I also experimented with the power and 1 buttons...
The fact that it stays warm to the touch means there's some activity in
there.
BTW, because of the SB3's failure I had to press my CD/DVD player back
into service. It's a Denon DVD-2910 that also plays SACDs.
