That window was originally for a TNC... it's not really an "RTTY"

Not really necessary. DX4Win has a very handy feature... export to
DX4Win format. It creates a text version of the file that can very
easily be modified with search and replace. Don't use notebook... too
slow... but you can download PFE which is easy to use and very fast for
large searches... o
consider using a more appropriate platform for digital
modes. I use MixW... there is also WinWarbler and DM780.
I import my MixW log into DX4Win and do all my tracking/QSLing etc from
there. Works well for me...

That's true... but I actually prefer the way it works when sorting by
time... except for the alert color being overwritten. Most of the time
I have the grey spots filtered out so its usually not an issue... it's
only a minor inconvenience anyway.

I did once an own award program. Through out upgrades I forgot to copy it.
The tags or labels for the award are still connected with the callsigns, but
I cannot remove them since they just turn up as an AWD error when checking
the file. How could I get rid of these labels connected with the call
fact a very common way for scout stations during the jamboree on the air to
show that they are scout stations. Some Swedish scout stations did during
JOTA 1994 (Oct. 15-16) use /Z. Both the /J and /Z turns up as prefixes J0
and Z0 and their actual prefixes will not be counted.

That's the weakness if you are trying to track alternate callsigns or
locations and simultaneously flag Contest QSOs... you can only select the
groups with an exact match.

Use groups and set one up for each callsign...
Set up the default to indicate N4ZR and the other to indicate W8QZR

No. In any case, software reading of CW doesn't work very well unless S/N is
very good and code is near perfect... ie machine generated.
