resistor. The microcontroller on the front panel is a 5 volt part so I wouldn't

You could kind of do this with the DIGOUT1 signal from the ACC connector. It
can be programmed OFF (floating, open-drain output, you need a pull up if you
want a high) or ON (pulled down to ground).

I've had some strange behavior with N1MM from time-to-time. It would
take a long time to update the frequency and if I were SP and worked a
station it would wipe out the qso because, I think, the frequency would
suddenly catch up and N1MM thought I had qsy so it wiped the qso. This
happens

The Bose noise cancelling phones work GREAT for repetitive noise like
fan noise, rain on the roof (right W0YK?) and other things like that. I
have the QC2 having recently upgraded from the QC1s. They are the around
the ear model and the muffs have great noise reduction themselves.

Question for HRD experts. When operating RTTY with the K3 (FSK D) and
using HRD for the logging program, HRD puts TOR in the mode slot in the

VFO B for transmit and A for receive. In the K2 A/B (I think) reverses
these. This is a bit of a problem if you are using N1MM and running in
split mode and tuning VFO A around. If you tune more than 300 Hz N1MM

Just getting K3 going and KAT3 does not tune properly on 7 and 24 MHz.
I'm pretty sure it worked earlier today on a 40 m dipole I put up but
now it doesn't tune the dipole or a dummy load. When trying to tune the
dummy load and checking the L C I get Ca = Ct=0.66 nF and L=0.75 uH
and 2.5:1
On my multi-trips to 6Y, 3D2 and C6 I've just wrapped it in foam and
stuck it in the middle of a suitcase. The suitcase has ranged from a
hard samsonite to on of those aircraft aluminum jobs. Never had a
problems but ... Probably the biggest threat you rig has is from the TSA
gestapo. They unwrap
