/home/httpd/html directory no matter what I try access is denied (to copy a
file I can read all I want .
I tried chomod I changed user access user groups
what to I need to do to allow us to ftp in and upload the new web pages?
I installed the cooker KDE2 rpms in Mandrake 7.1 (Using XFree86-4 if that
matters). I also needed to install bzip2-1.0.1-6mdk.i586.rpm and
TiMidity++-2.9.5-1mdk.i586.rpm along with qt2-2.1.1-8mdk.i586.rpm.
It runs slow, the display is frequently corrupted and programs frequently

are. now and then, some HDD's or processors that are just not compatible
with Linux. I've heard Celeron chips sometimes have trouble with Linux,

why not just use Presize and get it for free? It does the same thing that

I've installed MDK 7.1 (from scratch--new hard disk). I was previously
using 7.0.
The backspace is doing that incredibly annoying Linux thing of acting
like a del key.

I like simple passwords on machines that require no security.
I use the simple passwords only for my own safeguard against a stupid
action.
During the installation Mandrake 7.1 was quite happy to accept a simple
password but once installed it tries to overprotect.
