The values I am describing are found on the MIDI keyboard itself. MIDI
instruments can be assigned a numeric volume level from 0 to 127 on my keyboard
(Kawai.)
As others have mentioned here, you can use the MIXER found in WINDOW Menu to
assign volume, and panning.

I found the place where there was an incorrect setting. There are two places
under Audio/MIDI device setup where you can choose the output, in the Macs OS
set up, and in Finale’s Device/ Audio Setup. I had missed the Finale setting
that had become reset by the OS upgrade
I found that some file's settings where changed after installing Finale's

realised changes under the MIDI/AUDIO menu where 'Play Finale Through Audio

In Edit Learned Chords, accessed in the Chord menu, you can define and
edit voicings for chord symbols. Dynamics for the staff the chords are
attached to should affect playback, I guess, though I'm not sure how one
would have independent dynamics for, say, Layer 2 and chords attached to

Just turn off chord playback. It's completely useless since it doesn't know

There had been a problem in 2010 PC with the three-line tremolo/drumroll

I can't argue with the fact that people seem to want it the way it is!
I still don't understand why. If you want the pitch to line up with midi entry

No one on this list wants to use it the way it is. Some argue that others
may. All of us want a new option.

enter a D written, hear a D concert, automatically delete the D
written and replace with a C written, hear the correct pitch (concert
C),
