These are measure-attached smart shapes, so I know of no way to do
what you've described automatically. Fastest way I can think of is
click Mass Edit, select Items to Copy, clear everthing then choose
Smart Shapes Assigned to Measures, click a measure where you've
entered only the hairpin

Solo, Sop, Alto, Ten, Bass staves, part of a grouping. There are 6
bars of rest, then only the men sing for awhile. So there are plenty
of empty staves. Nothing I've tried will cause them to optimize.

Modify... select Remove... select Stems and Rests..and you won't have
to mess with stems at all. Put your notes in, remove the stems, then

I have a doc where the top system (two staves of vocal parts) will
not play when HP is on. I have tried Standard and Custom and have
looked for any obvious reason why. If I turn HP off (None) or if I
use Spacebar-Click, they play fine.
I've tried changing MIDI channels, changing patches,
but this, then
added in the other blank systems I would need.
The systems that DID play back had notes in them created by me. It
seems obvious there is a relationship in effect but I'd like to
better understand it.

event my problem is Finale'09 (Mac) just omits notes at times,
occasionally near-dropout (1 note out of 5). When I'm trying to

into a mic connected to it, it sings back--in real time-- as a choir,
words and all. I want to use it to record the choral parts of choral
arrangements I have written, in some cases with just piano,
In my view, a part is a part. What does it matter that it's a synth part. I'd
give it a stave and go, The other musicians join in from their scores and off
you go. Is there a more specific concern you had in mind?

60 buttons or so. They were programmable, leading me to think how useful they
would be for calling up tools and various other items in Finale. First, has

Looks fairly straightforward to me, but maybe there's something I'm not
thinking about, like perhaps something that Finale wold have to
by Facebook so some administrative work is needed on my
end. It shows 2 members because of the way they handled membership during the
migration. Thee are more than two.
