Re: [Audyssey] Has anyone had any luck unlocking the blind software games?

2016-09-01 Thread sylvester thomas III
Hi Ron!
I had this problem.
I was trying to run the code generator without unzipping it.
I unzipped the code generator to a folder and it makes a folder
containing to files, the code generator and a sereal type folder.
After this the unlockcodes worked for me. HTH! Sly

Well I am getting closer, Thanks for all your tips along the way.
A few more questions for you to help get me to the end.
Sppoiler for any one not at the end of the game.
You have been warned!
Any way I have the ships hull at 70 percent but cannot lift off.
It seems that that button is not highlighted, or rather cant be selected.
What am i missing?
Do I need more alien aloy?
Did I miss an item?
Also one question about Eyes, health meley.
Do these upgrades cost you weight? If I'm going on an adventure I may
not neede lets say Eyes for example and need to carry other items,
just wondered your thoughts on balanceing these items.
Thanks So Much again for all the help.
I am really enjoying the game.

 Hi Sylvester.

Lol, your first two questions have related answers sinse batteries are the
 amo for the laser :D.

With Alien alloy, things are the same as a dark room in terms of where to
find it, ie, battlefields, boreholes and possibly in cities. This does take

a little longer than in A dark room sinse you don't have the builder's
amulet to help you. Make sure to take note of the unexplored space listed

on the map, particularly a long way out from the Swamp.

While I found it a longer collection than in A dark room, on the plus side a

bunch of new encounters have been added, particularly sinse you will find
you need to keep visiting dungeons to make sure you have food, durable
weapons and amo, plus there is a little special you can run into to make
combat generally easier, (as a little hint, trading is good, and all
resources in the game are used for something even if it doesn't seem so).

Even though it took a longer time to find all the alien alloy than in a dark

room, I enjoyed that section of a game a lot more in The Ensign sinse there

was much more to explore, though when you do! get to the ending I ran into a

miner bug where I got a blank screen and had to turn vo off and tap it to
proceed, though whether Amir has sinse fixed this I don't know.

Oh, and there are some very cool audio interviews to listen to as well as a

reward, just like a dark room has.

 All the best,

 Dark.
There is always more to know, more to see, more to learn. The world is vast

and wondrous strange and there are more things benieth the stars than even

 Hi Sylvester.

the percentage is the weapon's durability. So long as it is greater than

 the

percentage will go down. When it hits zero, all weapons (even rifles and
laser guns), will do only 1 damage, that is the point you have to
 replace
 them.

At the swamp you can store items, (there is an option), this is
 particularly

useful at the start of the game for making sure you always have a steel
sword in reserve and for storing resources like flesh, teeth and eyes
 (who's

use you will find out later).

You can also talk to the general, which lets you view several cutscenes
about the wanderer invasion, and also lets you do something special
 after
one particular event, though I won't say anymore of that but let you
 discover it yourself.

One thing I do like about The Ensign is because weapons have a
 durability,
you keep needing to visit dungeons, also there are a lot more different
events and encounters even in lower level dungeons like Houses, which
 keep
the game interesting even when you have the convoy, just remember, you
 still

need to eat and drink, and that even though you might be carrying an
arsenal of weapons you aren't invincible, especially if you don't
 replenish

your weapons (I nearly lost out myself when playing at four in the
 morning
an forgetting to go and gather supplies).

 Enjoy the ending!

 what is the swamps purpose?
I have a convoy now so have tons of space, but

do I need to hold on to more than one weapon? Is there any thing to

Also I wondered about the percentage that is given to the weapons, I

I am on a roll and think I am getting close to finding, well I better

[Audyssey] A Dark Room question on collecting fur

2014-12-07 Thread sylvester thomas III
Greetings All!
Stuck in a dark room.
I need the compass but it cost 400 fyr, and I cannot seem to figure
out how the fur thing works.
My town has all items that I can purchase, except things from the
workshop and the merchant.
I go to the town and click on traps and it will say that I have
recived fur, meat etc, but when I go to supplys It still says 0 or a
number that dosent add up to what is stated if you add up what is
stated when you clear the traps.
I kinda like this game but need to get the compass I think because
there is nothing else to do.
Thanks for any and all suggestions.

[Audyssey] Solara Castle expanstion question

2013-11-19 Thread sylvester thomas III
Greetings Gamers!
I have a question for you Solara players.
I am level 40 and for the last two level ups, 38 to 40 I haven't seen
the option in upgrades to upgrade my Castle after swiping the Build
button.
I have 72 structures currently but am unable to build due to not
enough room to place a new structure.
I see structures behind the food tab that say require level 50 but
obviously I'm not there yet, just frustrated about not being able to
expand my Castle.
In fact I don't see where you can see what your Castle level is currently.
I guess my question is about the difference between castle expansions
and upgrading your castle.
Hope this makes sense, and Thanks for any and all suggestions.

there is something up with the configuration for the Audyssey List

Re: [Audyssey] Solara

2013-10-03 Thread sylvester thomas III
I love Solara as well.
One question to players of the game, Is there a way to have a
description read of your heros?
When you unlock a hero it gives a defination of the type of hero, for
example when you unlock a ranger it will tell you the rangers skills
and such and what they are good for etc.
Is there any way to have this information read in the game?
If I select heros to see there stats and double tap on the ranger,
mage, Knight etc. button it does not give this information.
It would be really helpful in setting up your party to know the
strenths and weaknesses so wondered if I am missing something in
locateing this info.

 Hi.
Yep, Solara only works in Landscape mode so you'll have to turn your
 phone
 to play more effectively.
You might want to build before going on any quests. Buildings accumulate
 gold and/or food.
When you double tap on a quest, swiping should then bring up a blurb
 about
what you're fighting. You hit Fight and then select any hero/s you
 want
on the quest. You start with one hero and one hero slot available.
Double-tapping on the hero's name brings up his/her info and the option
 to
 add him to the group.
To remove him, you must double-tap on the hero slot number.
 HTH,
 Christina

 Hi Lori.

Sadly no audio demo, but hopefuly the audiogames.net page is reasonably
 informative.

About paying, well on solara the in ap perchice store is very clearly
labled, and completely separate from where you pay for in game upgrades
 to
your tower etc, so there's absolutely no worries with paying for
 something
 by mistake.

Also, I'll add that on the iphone before making any in ap perchice you
 need
to enter your name and password anyway.

Start the game, and use the quests button. This is where you cary on
missions for the story, but also the first few missions will take you
through the game basics like a tutorial.

 Hth.

 All the best,

 DArk.

Re: [Audyssey] Contacting Playing in the dark/Tech Question oncreating vehicles

2011-11-05 Thread Sylvester Thomas

Hi Davy! One last thing. I have successfully created a .vhc file, Yea!
but now I cannot figure out how to get the game to recognize it. I used the
utility program in top speed 2 to check it and it said the file was fine, I
even used the packaging option to zip it up only it asked me to record the
intro file which led me to the run time error again. I am guessing the
reason the vehicle isn't recognized has something to do with the intro file.
I didn't see any values for the intro in the vhc file so don't know how to
get the game to see it. Any Ideas? Thanks once again! Sly

Hi,

The recommended thing to do is to upgrade to Top Speed version 3 and
create vehicles and tracks manually. That is, by editing a .vhc or .trk
file in Notepad or another text-editor. I believe I put some basic
examples in the TS3 release notes.

  Hey all.
tonight on ESPN Classic, they will be airing the documentary The King
of

Kong about professional game players and the quest for the highest score
ever on Donkey Kong.
This may sound silly to some, but it has gotten very good reviews from
most film critics.
should be interesting, I haven't seen it yet myself, but from what I
have read, its very well done.
it comes on at 9 eastern Sunday night June 26 on ESPN classic. Not sure
about other services, check your listings, but if you have A T and T
uverse, its channel 603.
  Enjoy,

Munawar and I for a live show about TDV! Also, I will be attempting to
beat the game in three hours. Failing this, I will be attempting to get
as far through it as I possibly can.

For those of you that do not own the game, JJRN is running a contest from
now until next Friday, in which a licenced copy of TDV is the main prize!
If you do not own the game, yet wish to, visit jjrn.net and click on the

I hope to see you there!

Re: [Audyssey] Boppitt with Shout moad Question

2010-06-26 Thread Sylvester Thomas
Hi Mich! If you are holding the boppit game with the handle up you will
have a knob to twist in the front, the two boppit pads on the sides for left
or right handed players and finally the pull it button in the rear. You
will know you are holding it correctly if you feel a button on the handle
towards the front of the game. This button is the level select button.
You have to reach so score of a hundred on novice to move up the the expert
level and then once you score a hundred on expert you move up to the master
level which is where I am so am not sure if it goes any higher than that.
Also if you twist the twist it knob before you start a game you can change
the volume level from normal to loud to blasting. No head phone jack
unfortunately. Well Have Fun and Thanks to Phil for bringing this game to
the list attention. Later! Sly! -- Original Message -

Hi all. I just got for my birthday the new Boppitt with shout moad. I am
just wondering a few things 1 is there a way to change the settings from
novice or is that the only setting? 2 is there a headphone jack? and
that's about it. from what I could gather from playing with it a bit it
has a sort of handle that you hold and in the senter is the thing you bop
on the left is the thing you pull and on the right is where you twist.
there is also another wheele thing with a sort of handle that you tern and
I am not shure what that does. if any one has this game and has played it
then could you please let me know what some of these buttens do? many

I'll look for some info on where to buy one or more rails, but be prepared
to pay a pretty penny. For some rediculous reason, the last time I
checked into it, the cost is about $280 per rail. This was according to

what ever is there, I have had to move a step first though before I could

The problem i have had is with speech stopping, after I finish a battle

Hi all,
I have been having a slight problem with Entombed and I was wondering
if this either is a bug or I'm not doing something write. Tonight
while playing after a combat I press g to grab items from the floor
and it continues to tell me there is nothing there. However, in
certain cases such as the battle with the Goblin King I certainly know
his weapons and armour should be there in the room, let alone the
bodies, and it says there is nothing there. I'm pretty frustrated and
don't know what else to do. Is this a bug or do I need something
special to get my characters to pick up and find this stuff? I really
do not understand why the grab command isn't working.

Thanks.

Hi Sylvester,
I'm not quite sure how to solve your sound card issue, but I'm fairly
certain it isn't a DirectX issue. One thing I think you probably should
have not of done is installed an older version of DirectX. That tends to
cause more problems than it is worth so you will want to install an
upgrade as soon as possible to insure you didn't break anything by
downgrading like that.
Anyway, if you want to know the current build of DirectX you are running
you need to run the dxdiag program. Unfortunately, it isn't very specific
in terms of weather you have say a March or Auggest release of DirectX,
but you can get some info. Go to start, click on run, and type in dxdiag
in the edit field, and click on ok. The dxdiag program will ask you if you
want to check your drivers etc. Answer no, and a window will appear
displaying various system info including your DirectX build number.

Subject: [Audyssey] Good news: how to make the WII a whole lot
moreaccessible

If any of you have played the Wii, you know that it's just about
impossible
to start, since on the startup screen there are seven buttons to
push--four
on top and three on the bottom, which makes for a confusing and
frustrating
day at the Wii console. Even though you know the one you want is in the
top

left corner, you just can't seem to find it and instead find yourself
adjusting your daughter's mii... (which is the way she programmed her
character to look in the games.) Incidentally, I gave hers quite the
hairdo.
With the screen in such a state, you might spend an hour starting the game
you want and have time for a match of tennis before dinner time--if you're
lucky.
Well, fear not Wii fans, because I have found a solution. You'll need
sighted assistance for this but...
In addition to the page containing the start game icon, there are three or
more pages with additional channels. There are two ways to get to those
pages--the plus and minus keys on the Wiimote, or the arrows on the
screen.

What we are going to do is to drag each channel, (accept for the one we
want--the start game icon,) to another page.
Have your friend hold a and b together while pointing at a channel, then
move to the right arro and let go--and they have successfully moved the
channel. You'll know it because you'll hear a chirp from the Wii and your
friend saying, cool.
Have them do this for the next five channels, and you're done. You now
have
a startup screen with only one button--well, plus the arrows, but they
won't

do anything accept change pages and you just hit the minus button to get
back to the first page--no harm done. So now all you do is move the
Wiimote

around till it vibrates and you're there. Make sure that your assistant
moves the channel you want--the start channel which, if they can't figure
it
out, will say Wii sports, on it if that CD is in, to a place far away
from

the arrows--the upper left corner perhaps. I can now start the game almost
every time I try it, although somehow another channel appeared on the
first

page--but that's what happens when you let your children play with adults'
toys! LOL Well, if any of you have or are considering to purchase a Wii,
I

hope this helps.

Re: [Audyssey] Aztec Temple in Monkey Business Help needed

2008-11-30 Thread Sylvester Thomas III
Thanks all for your tips. I finally managed to make it past the temple.
Now I am a bit surprised to see that the Wild West level is really gone from
the game. It is listed in the ducumentation as being after the temple and
before the beach. I read an earlier post about this but did not belive
it. Has there been a reason given for this level veing removed from the
game? If not I sure would like to know , heck I am off to find my original
cds from ESP to go back to an earlier verson of the game to have the
complete game. Game on All! Sly!

[Audyssey] Extreme Wild West Table-Bug, or not a Bug

2008-11-25 Thread Sylvester Thomas III
Greetings Gamers! I hope you all are Well. I was playing ESP Pinball
Extreme's Party Pack table Extreme wild west when I happened to notice
something. The game documentation states the following.
On the right side of the flipper is the sheriff's office. If you've stolen all
four horses and happen to land yourself in his office it's not a good thing.
There's one of two choices he's gotta make. Either hang ya or take it to the
streets for a gunfight! Either way you may end up dead. You have a chance
at living if the sheriff decides to handle it like men, but if he opts for the
hanging's you're a goner
!

Notice it states that if he opps for the gun fight you have a chance at living.
This is not the case. Every time I go into a gun fight Win or Lose you lose
your ball. I figured if you get shot you lose your ball but if you shoot the
sheriff you get to play on. Is this the way this should work?? It seems un
fair that you lose your ball period weather you are in a gun fight, hung or
jus get locked up. You do not lose your ball when you win a fight in the
saloon so how come you do not keep your current ball when you beat the sheriff.
Yes you get 2.5 mill for shooting him but it kinda sucks if it is your last
ball and you win the gun fight only to still lose your ball. Well Just thought
I would bring this up in case Josh or someone from Draconnis could address
this. Well Time to go and visit Old Man Stanley's house to see what he is up
too. Game On All! Sly!Who wants a new party pack with a pool type table. 8
ball any one?

Hi Charles! That's not it. the game documentation states the following.
There's one of two choices he's gotta make. Either hang ya or take it to the
streets for a gunfight! Either way you may end up dead. You have a chance
at living if the sheriff decides to handle it like men, but if he opts for
the hangin' you're a goner!

If the sheriff decided to take things outside you'd better have some bullets
in that gun of yours. The bullets are located on the bottom side of the
general
store. A total of twelve bullets can be stored in your two six shooters.
Your only given six shots since both guns are fired in unison to increase
your

chances of living.

I just checked it out once again and fired on the sheriff before he said
Draw and I will not say what happends but lets just say it aint pretty. If
you are successful at shoting the sheriff you hear the song, I Shot the
Sheriff then you have to re launch your ball loseing one durring this
process. Seems like if you win the gun fight you should keep your ball and
keep playing like you do when you win the bar room brawl. Game On All!

Good news.

I just ran across a company named FlameSoft that sells Asian voices along
with their text-to-speech product, FlameReader.

Check out www.flamereader.com.
They sell a male and female Japanese voice and a male and female Korean
voice.

Re: [Audyssey] say what?

2007-12-27 Thread Sylvester Thomas
Hay Charles! I too have one of these Say What games, and the answer to your
question is this. There are five balls that when the phrase is spoken each
ballrepresents a word in the phrase. For instance the phrase my be
something like this I like to play games. The game will say something
like, play. I. games to. each word is represented by a ball, and you move
them around to different places to get the correct phrase, I like to
play games. It's Cool, they make this great popping sound when you pick up
a ball to reposition it. My only complaint is like the Nemesis game it has
no volume control knob or switch to lower the volume. It can be kinda loud
some times depending on your situation. I picked mine up at my local Target
store for around twenty bucks. You can also find them on Amazon.com. HTH
and Happy New Year to All! Game On! Sly!

I got one as well, (mr. Clause is a generous fellow).

There are actually five balls, and several different modes to the game.

time mode, where you get as many guesses as you like within a limited
 time,
and guess mode where you have a limited number of guesses, as well as
extreme time and guess modes (10 seconds per round, or one guess).

You can also play with multiple players one after another as well.

the only down side to the game I can see, is that in the two easier
settings, where you get one or two bits of the phrase set correctly at
 the
start for you (one or two balls in the right place), There is no audio
 clue
as to which balls ar right and which are not, sinse the one or two balls
already in the correct order light up to signify that they should not be
 moved.

Of course, on the hardest (and also the default) setting, none of the
 balls
are lit, and they all need to be moved (the entire phraise is scrambled).
this just means that slightly more persistance is required from a totally
blind gamer, sinse they do not have the oppertunity to practice with the
 two
easier settings. then again though, the real challenge is playing on the
default hard setting anyway, and of course sinse it is the default
 setting,
you don't have to worry about changing it.

On the pluss side, all the modes and menues are entirely auditory, and
 the
buttons are easy to distinguish, making it easy to opperate.

I might well do a Blind cool tech pod cast review of this game when i get
back to my flat and my r09.

 Grue beware the!

 Dark.

Re: [Audyssey] Rail racer tracks question

2007-09-20 Thread Sylvester Thomas
Greetings Dark! You have it correct. The official Tracks go in the
official Tracks folder, and the User Tracks go into the User Tracks folder.
The deal is Users can up load tracks they have created to the user track
page on the site for all to download. Then you can comment on the tracks
and based on user feedback Chee will promote a user track to official track
status. What this does is allow you to earn money and post track times on
them. You cannot do any of this on a user track, they are again just there
to share with the community. HTH! and Happy Racing! Sly, A K A, The

 Hi.

About the tracks on the Rail racer page. Firstly, what is the difference
betwene official and user created tracks?

secondly, where do I put them once I've downloaded them?

do the official tracks go into the game tracks folder and the user tracks
 into the user tracks folder?

As I really like racing the various tracks and getting nasty surprises,
any advice would e much appreciated,

 thanks in advance.

Hi.

As with all the bg games, you can display the help by pressing F1 in the
game then reading with your screen reader. Alternatively, just use windows
explorer or something similar to find the folder for Bg Uno, and read the
 Bgu help text file.

confusing when when two links say the same thing. I think I'll do the same

Hello to those of you whom have been having troubles installing the game
 and / or the mod...

   1 visit http://tbrn.net/modgirl

 2 enter the AQ folder

note!!!, there is an AQ Source folder, this is not, I repeat NOT the
correct folder to enter, the correct folder to enter, is labeled simply
 AQ,
and AQ and only AQ is the correct folder to enter in order to find the
proper installations of Audio Quake... You will not find any other
appropriate installation programs anywhere else on this particular site,
 in
any folder, or otherwise displayed in any way, shape, or form, which
 will
in any manner, even attempt to come close to trying to actually be what
 it
 is you're after!!! smile

3 choose one of the two AQ installs

4 follow your browser's instructions to download the file

5 make sure the file name is correct, and one that you'll remember

6 set the save as type to all files

7 press enter or click on the save button, making a note of where you're
 saving the file

8 go and find the file you've downloaded

9 press enter or double click on it

10 a setup program will start; follow its instructions, making careful
 note
of what each screen actually asks you about

Note!!!, if you encounter an error after the first setup screen, as can
sometimes happen with Jaws, run narrator and repeat from step 9 above...

11 choose the options you'd like, as they are made available to you on
 each
 screen of the setup program

12 Note!!! you will want to download both the share ware Quake demo and
Mind Grid audio pack if you don't already have them installed
Note!!!, these options will be represented as checkboxes which you'll
 need
to check to tell the installation program that you want these particular
bits of software installed to your system. If these checkboxes are not
checked, the program will think you don't want these particular bits of
software installed, and you most definitely do, unless of course, you
already have them, in which case, you may leave these checkboxes
 unchecked...

13 make sure you have an active internet connection so that when you
 choose
these options that they will be able to be downloaded to your computer

14 wait for the downloads to conclude, which may take several minutes

15 When setup has concluded, click finish

16 click on your start button or press enter on same the start menu will
 open

 16 go to All Programs

17 locate the Audio Quake Program Group

18 Click or press enter on Start Audio Quake...

19 The game should come up talking, with a list of menu choices; listen
 to
these choices and then choose one...

 20 Enjoy the game!!!

 HTH

 Now, for Jedi Quake:

 1 visit http://tbrn.net/modgirl

2 Locate the root folder, which is where you'll be automatically, when
 you
 arrive at the site

3 locate the version of Jedi Quake that you'd like, preferably, the
 latest
 one, which is 4.1

4 the file will be listed as one with a .qmod extension

5 follow your browser's instructions to download the file

6 in the save as dialogue, make sure the file name has not been changed
 to
 have a zip extension

7 if it has, then change it back

Charles Also hit a Great point, comparing Aliens in the outback to Troop. I
got use to it but I wish I could turn off that annoying buzzing sound when
playing troop, it makes it just a bit too easy to target where as in outback
you had to practice to get good at targeting the enemies. I always thought
with troop on easy this was acceptable, but on normal and hard it is just
annoying. The Challenge of any game is to use trail and error, repetition,

I do strongly encourage you to leave it as it is now. I am sure there was

adding such a feature, you'd remove the only real challenge in the game,

 Hi,
Well, one of the reasons such a key stroke doesn't exist at this point
is I felt the game would be more challenging having to use your ears to
judge when it is time to jump over a particular monster rather than
pressing a key and it saying skull in 5 feet etc. Still the feature
would come in handy in cases.
So I will monitor this discussion and hear what others think. On one
hand I really want to present the audio gamer with the challenge of the
original game, but I do understand your desire to have as much info as
 possible.
So I am not saying yes, but I am not saying no either.

 Hi,
In one way I do agree networked games brings allot more challenge to the
games as you are facing a human aponent. However, the down side to this
is that if you log on to play against someone and there is no one around
at 1:00 AM in the morning when you want to play you can't do much with
 that game.
I'm on the run allot, and if I had to be online to play a game I would
hardly get a chanse to play. Especially, when in the car riding from
here to there. That's the down side to networked games unfortunately.
Probably someday I will crank out a networked game, but it will have to
wait for my current batch of projects to clear. (Smile)

 Dakotah Rickard wrote:
It's true, there are some good network games, but we need more. We

 not networking modes.

 That's just me though.

Hay Guys! I collect vintage full size arcade and pinball machines, and I
have Six arcade machines and two pinball machines and Centipede is one of
them. I use to Love playing it when I had sight and still mess around with
it now that I am totally blind. I can clear a few levels before it just
gets moving too fast when you split the body in half. It really comes down
at you fast when this happens. It uses a trac ball to move your gun or
whatever that is that you are firing at the centipede, around the bottom of
the screen so when it gets after you on the bottom there it is game over for
me. Still fun though. It would be Cool to have you two collaborate to
come up with a blind version of this game. Game On! Sly!

 Hi Phil,
I guess I remember that somewhat. It has been so many years some of
those games are foggy in my memory.
Anyway, the fact remains I do think it is pretty easy. Perhaps we can
colaberate on a project like that once I finish with my current projects.

If you hit the first or last it would disappear with a sound effect.
And if you hit the head then you were ready in position to knock out the

But if you hit one of the center 6 then the creature would split at that
point with the head continuing along in the same direction while the tale
end reversed direction and went the other way traveling in each
 direction.
Once the pieces hit the left or right edge of the screen they would drop
 one
 row and reverse directions.
If they hit an obstacle they would also reverse directions.
So if a row of mushrooms was close to one edge the centipede could

drop all the way down to your level.
In a blind friendly sound version, each of the 8 segments would need to
 make
 a walking sound.

Hi Cara! I have both Tempest and Dig Dug as well. the others I have are
Tron, Galaga,Stargate, and zevious.. I also have Black Knight Pinball from
1980, which was the first pinball machine that had features such as a multi
level playing field. a Magna save feature which allowed you to light up a
special that when activated it would activate two magnetic fields to save
your ball from going down the tubes. Also you could lock balls in these
hidden chambers and release them, up to four of them at one time I think
and you scored Big points of course while being overwhelmed by all that
action, and if this was not enough it Taunts you as you play with a
synthesized voice. Also I have an old seventies pinball machine called
King Pin! It is a classic so I don't allow it to be played very much, but
it's the old style with bells instead of the electronic sounds that the
newer machines have. Fun Stuff! Game On! Sly!

ok if you go to the cathedral of silver rain and get 3 blessings from
  the
priests, then before you attempt the gralgarak adventure, unequip any
  weapon
you are carrying, just before you hit the begin combat button, equip a
weapon, this will fool the goblins that you are fighting unarmed.
you may have to use a blessing of protection with the second lot of
  goblins,
you will definitely have to use them against gralgarak.
also, if you have kepbeck leaves or potions, heal yourself before
  facing
  gralgarak.

  Now
  I
added my mr to 47 then equipped the blade so now it's 51 with stamina

  54.
That was awesome!! But I thought I'd get more mr I thought it was 8?
Also, can't beat gralgerack. Barely beat the skeletons then the
  warriors
trounced me. They won't give me time to equip some other weapon.
  What
  can
  I do?
  Also, a general question:
I aquired the skill of bashing hoping it'd improve my mr if I raised
  it
  up
some levels. So far this hasn't worked. Why?
Also, at 51 mr are there any adventures I can conqueer if gralgerak's
  tomb
isn't attainable yet? Or any methodologies to beat his tomb? I beat
  it
with another charecter using fortification but this one, Xora doesn't
  have
that skill and my powers are 21 each on distruction telekenesis and
  illusion. They fizzle a lot.
This game is really truly great.
Thanks for all your help. Also, what do you think about the new

I kinda miss the go north to trithic instead of this travel thingy.

Will we be able to use the keyboard as well for those of us who don't have
 mice?

 Hi gang,
I have been away from the list for a while working on the Rail
Racer multi player code, but I am back now with some good news for
all you adrenaline junkies out there.
A whole lot of features have been added to the game since my last
update here, and I am going to give a full listing of features in
about a week after the active beta testers and I polish off some of
the code. Additionally, I will be offering a pre purchase with a
discount for those that are interested. The full release will be 38
dollars U.S., and the pre purchase will be 33, more details to come
next week. In the meantime, here are some of the major features:
Force fields and loops and hurdles, oh my: This isn't your typical
racing game, as your racer is equipped with jump jets so you can jump
over hurdles in the track. This has to be timed just right so you
don't waste time in the air by jumping too high, but you have to make
sure your altitude is high enough to get you over the jump.
Loops will test your ability to make quick and accurate shifts, as
you will first have to climb the first half of the loop and then
quickly shift up as you come out of the loop.
Force fields can be placed on a track, forcing you to slow down
before the field. Try and take the field too fast, and you are gonna
come to a screeching halt, but again, you don't want to slow down too
much, or you waste valuable time and speed. Delicate driving baby,
 delicate driving.

Mouse control: Besides the standard keyboard and joystick support,
you can drive your racer with the good old mouse, pushing up to
accelerate, pulling down to slow, and leaning left and right. Mouse
buttons will shift you through the gears. The mouse is a great way
to control accessible games, and along with Liam's new shooter, I
hope to see more and more games take advantage of it.

Damage management: Your racer will take damage in the higher skill
levels if you take a curve badly or crash into a hurdle or force
field. If this happens, do you burn the time fixing it in the pits,
or try to finish the race with your damanged and therefore slower
racer? It is all up to you little buddy. Along with fuel
management, deciding when or if to pit can be the difference between
entering the winners circle or crying in your beer.

Web posting: All Tracks have their own web page on the Blind
Adrenaline web site, so you can post your times and see how you stack
 up to the competition.

Career play: You will earn money as you win races, as well as
accumulate points for bragging rights. The money can be used to
upgrade your racer as you become more successful. These upgrades
include a superCharger to boost acceleration, nitros and extra nitro
ports for a sudden burst of speed, and a gravity puller to get your
racer back on the track quickly after a successful jump.
Also, as you accumulate more points, you will open up more and more
tracks that get progressively harder and more complex to race.

Track editor: I know, you are thinking, wow, those loops and force
fields sound pretty cool, wish I could make my own tracks with that
stuff. Well you are in luck my racing friend, because Rail Racer
comes with a track creator that will allow you to create and race
your very own tracks, setting section lengths, curve placement and
peppering your tracks with force fields, loops, hurdles and cheering
crowds to your hearts content. If you build a true masterpiece, send
it to me and if it is worthy, I will include it online so others can
race it both in single player mode and online against other players.

Tweak your ride: Like fiddling with your racer to get the best
speeds possible? Once again you have come to the right place. In the
garage, you have the ability to adjust your gear ratios and wing
angle to achieve the perfect balance of control, speed and
acceleration. Some tracks will require quick acceleration for tight
turns and lots of loops and jumps. Others will go hand in hand with a
high gear ratio and low wing angle to get to your highest speed.
Fiddle around a bit and see what settings work the best for your
 favorite tracks.

Multi player code running on a dedicated server: What this means
is you can jump right into a online race with your friends and
enemies right from the game, no swapping of IP addresses to find a
server. The dedicated server is blazingly fast as well, so no lag
issues to worry about. You will be able to place bets before an
online race on yourself against any of the

An additional note here is when you wake up after stopping at a rest stop,
you are given the option to purchase more fuel. Remember, your
refrigeration unit has been sucking up fuel all night so it's a good idea to
purchase a bit more. Keep On Truckin! Sly!

 Hi Nicol,

Randomly the refrigeration unit will fail and need to be repaired. That
is just one of the random bad things that can happen during a trucker
 trip.

Your truck needs to be running for the refrigeration unit to be running,
so if you run out of gas and your truck stops running so does the
refrigeration unit. That is also why you will burn fuel while sleeping if
you choose to carry oranges. You have to leave the truck running at all
times for the refrigeration unit to run. You do not need to turn the
refrigeration unit on, it will run automatically as long as your truck is
running. But if the refrigeration unit stops running the oranges will be
 damaged.

 Hi Cary,
Where do I get Winfrotz TTS? I see that Winfrotz opens it, but when I
 route
the jaws cursor to the pc cursor, it just reads graphics, it won't read
 text
 like with the other games.

Re: [Audyssey] SL Mario Mod.

2006-06-08 Thread Sylvester Thomas
Hay Thomas! I have the mod file. If you want it let me know and I can send
it as an E mail attachment to you if you would like. Just let me know. I
think it's Great all this talk of a Mario game. I too played the original
and Super Mario in Arcades back in the mid eighties. It was Great in 85
when the original NES came out and we could bring Mario home. In fact I
still have an old nes hooked up and my girlfriend still plays Super Mario on
it. I prefer Contra with the 30 life code enabled. Ok Enough Rambling,
time for some Gaming! Later, Sly!

 Hi, everyone.
Does anyone have the Super Mario mod for SL? The super Mario discussion
has me interested enough in thinking about doing the game as a project
in a couple of months once I free up some projects, but all I have is
the music for the game. I'd like to know if anyone has classic effect
sounds like jumps, shrink, power ups, and other effects from the
 original game.
