[Audyssey] Three-D Velocity Help

2017-03-06 Thread kelby carlson
Anyone able to give me some clues on what to do after taking down the
airbase? Several fighters appear and I keep dying even though I don't
hear any missiles or hear the plane getting hit by anything. Is this a
bug?

All,

My question is just what the subject sounds like. Are there any
accessible games that are like the Civilization games, where one
builds a civilization from the ground up and deals with enemy
civilizations? I'm thinkin long-term strategy. I'm sure there are some
but I haven't kept up with accessible games in forever.

[Audyssey] Troopanum on Windows 10

All,

I've installed Troopanum and WinKit to be safe so I should have
everything required to play it. When I start the game I get this
error:

Error 432 File Name or Class Name Not found during automation while

What's going on?

[Audyssey] Browser Strategy Games

2016-08-10 Thread kelby carlson
All,

I'd like to know if there are any games that are similar to Risk, or
perhaps Settlers of Cattan, that it is possible to play in a web
browser. If there are ones that are playable on a PC or an iPhone and
are reasonably affordable, that would be nice as well.

Hi Kelby,

This issue has been discussed many times on the list, but rather
than
ask you to go through the list archives I'll just give you the
basic

rundown on games and Windows 7.

As many games were written in an older language called Visual
Basic 6,

which no longer ships with Windows 7, one way to get the required
dependencies you need is to go to
http:///www.kitchensinc.net
and download his Winkit setup. This will install a working
Visual
Basic 6 runtime and the missing DirectX 8 libraries required for
many

older games.

Second, as many older games are not UAC compatible you may need
to
disable it. To do this do control+escape, typ UAC, into the
search bar
and press enter. Set it to 0, and restart. This will allow the
games

to save games in
c:\Program Files
and other restricted areas of the OS that were not restricted in
XP.

Cheers!

[Audyssey] VVery OT: Accessible Music Writing Software

2009-11-23 Thread Kelby Carlson
The Christmas season is coming up and my family wants to have a
Christmas list from me. Now one thing I have been wanting for a
while is a piece of software (something like Finale, if you know
what that is) that will allow me to transcribe music and hear it
played back to me. I'm looking for something that's accesible
and fairly affordable. Does anyone know where something like
that can be found, or can direct me to where something like that
might be found?

I can say, as a Conservative evangelical, that I am absolutely
sickened by what Nicol just related. There's idolatry, then
there's just fun and stories (which, really, is what a lot of
video games are--stories.) I just do not understand the attitude
of some religious folks that if you read a supernatural book,
watch violent television or the like then you're automatically a
horrible person. Well guess what? I read and love Harry Potter.
I also make it a hobby to study mythology and world religions.
Oh well then, I guess I'm headed straight for Hell.

[Audyssey] Final Conflict Strategies

2009-03-31 Thread kelby carlson
I just downloaded and have begun playing with Star Trek: Final
Conflict. I don't know why, but I'm not always very good at
these particular strategy games. I have a specific strategy in
mind, but can't for the life of me figure how to pul it off.
Here's what it is:

My ships will fly in a rough v-formation. Two sovereign-class
ships will the the points, two will fly close together in the
middle, and the Defiant will be cloaked in the back for surprise
maneuvers. This seems to be a good idea because it would let me
box in opponents, keep my ships together and have decent
maneuverability. But ... how would I do something like this?

Thanks a bunch, Tom. I had part of that worked out, but it was
setting the ship's on the right course that tripped me up. I
have a couple more questions.

1. Is there a way to tell the exact coordinates of a ship? This
would help me immensely to try and get everything into formation.

2. Will the v-formation I'm describing work well for shooting
down the enemy?

Hi Kelby,
Good question. That particular formation would be fairly tricky

to set
up, but can be done with a lot of practice. What I would do is

send all
of my ships to a staging area, a place to assemble the fleet,

start two
ships out, wait a move, send the second two ships out, wait a

move, and
then trail the fleet with the Defiant. Now, if you want to

create a v
type for mation you'll have to give the ships different headings

for a
couple of moves until they spreed out. For example if you want a

wide v
formating and you were heading towards Cardassian Space set one

side of
the formation to a heading of 325 and the other to 45. After a

move or
so you would get a v style formation, and then you can set all

ships to

0 so that they then head straight up the starmap.

ok guys, get the version 0.9.6 of pokemon netbattle here:
and the version 0.9.7 get here:
http://www.sendspace.com/file/jm63j0
to play, install the 0.9.6, get the 0.9.7, and put the .exe file

in the folder

c:\program files\netbattle and click yes to replace
there are instructions in english and portuguese in the txt

version, so

don't worry if you see any strange names in these .txt files.
and almost all of the functional servers are portuguese and they

for you
logic will have a strange name, but don't worry, try asking in

the
channel tow, if anyone talk english, i'm almost sure someone will

do.
and oh my god, searching on the servers instead of pokemon i

found a

casino game, that is playable with the client, strange!!!
ok if you have problems, just say.
hth.

You don't raise your pokemon, you just build a team, picking your

pokemon's
levels, attacks, evolutions etc. Then you connect to a server

and find
another trainer to battle. Its not really an rpg per say, just a

competition
game to see who can build the best team. But its still pretty

fun for what
its worth. It'd be cool if someone would be willing to host a

regular server
for battles, the public netbattle server went down a long time

ago.

Hi

So, here I am, I started playing this game at:
http://tppcrpg.net/
Its quite rediculous, really. For anyone that knows anything

about
pokemon, level 4 pokemon, no matter what kind, cannot learn

hyper beam.

I
mean yeah if your crazy enough to use a tm on one. So, my

charmander

kept
getting demolished by these pokemon using crazy attacks. Not to

mention,
how exactly are you supposed to battle and make money, and catch

pokemon
and what not? How do you get to each town? Those are just a few

of my

questions.
Someone said this game was great - it is to a point until the

novelty
wears off and it gets so confusing that I had to wait a few

hours before

I
tried again.

So you register, pick your starter pokemon. There is no help at

all to

be
found here. I can battle a trainer, yay. Then, suddenly, out

of nowhere,
it says a wild pokemon appears! So, I start fighting. This

pokemon is
level 4, the same as mine. It uses icebeam. Seriously...it can

use ice
beam, flame thrower, surf, and tackle. Hows that for

randomness? Then, I
look at my pokemons attacks. Know what it had? Flamethrower,

watergun,

tackle, and scratch!

That's when I gave up on it. Maybe someone else here

understands it more

than i do.
anyone have any ideas?

Hi John,
Smile. Oh, i know that, but I am really looking for something

much more
human/realistic for the Tomb Hunter series. Besides FreeTTS is a

Java
based TTS Engine and the Tomb Hunter series is written in C#. If

I were
going to go through the difficulty of writing a .NET wrapper for

a
speech system I'd likely do it for something like the Cepstral

voices or

E-Speak.
Cheers.

Thomas,

The FreeTTS Kevin16 voice may drive you up the wall but it's

and it's totally cross-platform.

That being said, the sound is not my favorite either and I'd

really like
to get the FreeTTS JSAPI interface working. Then maybe I could

use Mike
(which we use as a WAV file for our audio splash screen) and the

other

better voices.

Yes, the latest test version isn't balanced. However, you can

seriously tip

the scales in your favor. Here are some tips:

Dual wield. Equip the largest weapon you can in each hand. This

gives you
two attacks per round. A two-handed weapon like those large

clubs the ogres
use is deadly. You can get an idea how good a weapon is by it's

description,
but a larger weapon is almost always better than smaller ones.

So the order
is (for now until more stuff is put in): daggers, short swords,

clubs, long

swords, and large ogre clubs.

Don't forget to use the potions in your inventory to heal.

Zombie rot
potions cure zombie rot. Anytime you're bitten by a zombie,

you'll contract

the disease, so be sure to use those.

Attack the biggest threat first. Orcs always have weapons and

are much
nastier than goblins. Ogres are extremely dangerous, but slow.

The wolves
are nasty but usually easy to kill. Any heroic monster is going

to be much

harder than usual.

Zombies can only be killed if you destroy their head (and other

means but I
won't spoil it). So target their head with the number pad 8, or

with the

number 8 if you don't have a numpad.

The difficulty will wildly swing back and forth until I get most

of the

abilities and spells in.

Thanks for testing it!

Hey gamers. Just last night, I downloaded the game Technoshock.
I'm quite impressed with the sound quality, but am having serious
trouble DOING anything. I've gotten the axe, but I can't even
find the door. The problem is that my navigator will tell me
something's right in front of me but I cannot pick it up. Now, I
haven't downloaded the update pack, so maybe that's the problem.
Otherwise, do you have any tips?

I'm sure this question has been asked before, but I couldn't find

Subject: [Audyssey] RPG Audio Game

Hi everyone,

I'm new to this list. Dark at the audiogames.net forums
recommended that I
post the details of my project here.

I'm currently programming an audio RPG game sort of a cross
between a
rouge-like (a genre I love) and Final Fantasy. So far it creates
random
dungeons with twisty halls and rooms, allows you to navigate the
dungeon
with audio, and offers preliminary combat, inventory, and
equipment.

The rogue-like elements are random dungeons, items, and battles.
It's
similar to Final Fantasy in combat: which is carried out in real
time. My
vision for this game is grand. Absolutely huge. But I'm
starting small. I'm
hoping to have a basic playable version that I can build on with
feedback
from gamers.

I've been posting my progress regularly and I feel I've come a
long way in a
short time. I have a few major milestones left to code, but I
want to have a
small basic shell out soon. The devil is always in the details
and I've been
holed up battling annoying audio menu problems the last 2 days.
I think I've
coded them into oblivion today finally.

Jason

[Audyssey] Possibility of an RPG

2008-03-27 Thread kelby carlson
Dear List,

I'd like to know if any of you would be interested in this. I
found a free table-top RPG online called Abeo, which looks quite
amazingly good. I am thinking of starting a group to play in
this RP, possibly using Audio Tips or Skype if its convenient.
This games is quite complex and it will take a lot of commitment.
Let me give you an excerpt from the introduction. E-mail me
onlist or off, doesn't matter, if you're interested. Hopefully
we can make something cool out of this.

  Introduction

The World of Fear and Wonder

The lever, the winch and the wheel are not the beginning and the
end of the mechanisms of creation; they are only the simplest
solution.

Society, industry and interaction are poorly suited to deal with
a world where cause and effect are not laws, but suggestions. In
Abeo, this stranger, more fluid world is the truer one. There
are no rules when the dreams we have with our eyes closed are
just as real as the ones we share with them open. We are
encouraged to forget the fey lands of our most private hopes and
fears, paying attention instead to the monsters that lurk in
alleyways, crackhouses, congress and corporate boardrooms. There
are rules for dealing with these horrors, and though we groan
under their weight, we can bear their finite power.

Unfortunately, there are monsters other than the mundane ones,
and it doesn't take much to see them. Today, a woman was found
gruesomely murdered in a room locked from the inside. Last week
a man burst into flame in an enclosed office. There is no
conspiracy to hide these facts from the average man on the
street; he does enough of the job himself.

Human torches and phantom murders just don't fit into the
supremely defined cosmos of his belief. Belief in the absence of
proof is faith. Belief in direct contradiction to proof is
dangerous.

In Abeo, you play one of those remarkable people who have taken a
mad step, removing themselves from the danger of ignorance and
placing themselves squarely in danger of knowing entirely too
much. Reason defines the Phenomenal world, but emotion taps into
the Noumenal world and breaks it. Love does indeed conquer all,
but so does hate. And fear. Fervor does more than motivate, it
directly affects the world, removing the veils of apathy and
illusion; fueling the ghost in the machine of causality . The
vehement see that the world operates by the rules of irony,
poetry, and passion as much, if not more than it does by those of
gravity, electromagnetism, and the nuclear forces.

It is only through a lateral shift in perception that characters
are able to do what they had previously thought impossible. One
must become insane to become free; to walk on water, you have to
jump out of your boat. Characters in Abeo find themselves
shuttling between a banal but safe world defined by its
objectivity and predictability, and a beautiful but deadly one
bound only by Passion. Faced with both Phenomenal and Noumenal
challenges continuously, these individuals often find themselves
sliding into a particular kind of adaptive madness--a madness
that simultaneously grants the character the power he needs to
survive and drives him farther away from the relationships and
identity that he spent his life forming. These characters are
called Liminal in Abeo, and an endless number of other names
within the world the game defines. Those few who know enough to
call them anything may understand them to be sorcerers, angels,
monsters, demons or simply family members slipping away, bit by
impossible bit.

Re: [Audyssey] My final message about 3D games and side-scrollers.

2008-03-22 Thread kelby carlson
tom,

I've been looking at this thread silently. All I can say is that
I am totally with you on this as Guys, I think this whole
community should be collectively ashamed of itself. To draw an
analogy: I'm writing a book right now. That book is something
I'm going to be invested in for the long term because I WANT TO
WRITE IT. But I haven't told very many people about it or set
myself a deadline yet because I don't want to be burned out by
stress. Now, programming a game I would imagine is exponentially
more difficult. I just can't believe you guys are so
relentlessly hounding him on this. Yes, those opposing his
original decision made clear, grammatical arguments and there is
something to be said for that. But really, I feel pretty bad
myself not even having said anything or paid for the game.
Personally Tom, I like side-crollers; 3-D has never been my
forte. But hot darn, I was pretty excited about your original
decision. But now, it looks like we may never get to see that.

You are perhaps the most open honest game developer I've ever
seen. I don't think your original decision marred your integrity
one bit. If I had paid for the game, I would've been completely
over on your side. I might buy the side-croller when and if it
comes out, when and if I can scrape up some cash. I just have to
tell you my friend, keep doing what you love. Because you do it
well.

side-scrollers.

 Hello everyone,
First, I would like to clear up a couple of matters I said under
emotional distress in some prier emails. In a previous email to
the list
I had mentioned I might leave the list and stop producing games.
In
truth I really like making games most of the time, but the
stress over
Montezuma's Revenge and Raceway are beginning to get to me
emotionally,
physically, and effecting my family life in a major way. As a
result
until these titles are completed I am likely to withdraw from
lots of on
list activities and discussions. I really do not need people
challenging
my credibility, integrity, and respect over something as foolish
is
weather to make the game a 3D adventure or a classic 2D
side-scroller.
That is just being very one-sided in my opinion.
Second, as for the 3D Tomb Hunter games it is something I am
very
excited about creating, and someday when these two James North
titles
are behind us I will be able to take them up again without
retribution.
At the moment I can not proceed with USA Games real goals until
i dig
myself out of the hole James North and his games barried me in.
Third, as for the side-scroller promised to you by James North
unfortunately as per my agreement to the copyright holders I can
not,
will not, make a clone of Montezuma's Revenge. I will however
create a
treasure hunting side-scroller with some similar elements for
you, to
settle up my accounts with you guys, and you will have
absolutely no say
so in its storry, creation, or be able to make comments on it.
I will do
it my way or not at all.
Frankly, I am sick and tired of being pulled in two different
directions
about this game. There is those that think like me that the
game should
be updated to be more like games of today. There is the Atari
fan croud
that want the game to be exactly along the Atari 2600 style
games with
total authenticity. Obviously, it is impossible to please both
so I am
 not even going to try.
What I will do for you side-scroller fans is create a
side-scroller, my
way, with my ideas, and if you don't like it tough luck. The
only way I
will commit to going back and creating that game again from
scratch is
if I have total creativity and say so in how it is made and how
it
 works. You

What is wrong with this whole thing is that Thomas poured two
years of his life into this. He has completely burned himself
out and is getting literally no compensation for this. He has no
motivation and no desire to continue. You've been pretty
reasonable about this, but you haven't addressed that issue,
which is really the primary concern. Despite the foul language
on the other side of the fence, those guys seem to basically
understand that fact. If I were Tom, I'd be long gone by now.

Re: [Audyssey] An Idea for a Project

2008-03-10 Thread kelby carlson
Here's what I'M thinking the book would look like. (The
problem I see with having all the Audyssey issues lumped together
is simply that there's a lot of extraneous stuff in there. This
book would be for the public and an introduction for others
interested in the subject.)

--The book would be divided into sections chronologically
ordered. Such as: The first section would be Precursors:
Accessible Gaming Before 1996. The second would be Beginnings:
The Birth of Audyssey and The Genesis of Gaming for the Blind,
1996-1997. The third (possibly), Blazing The First Steps of
the Trail: Accessible Gaming Rises Up, 1998-1999. The fourth:
Interactive Sound: Bavisoft and the Growth of the Modern
Accessible Game, 2000)

--Historical articles would be first.
--NEXT would follow articles of a theoretical or programming
nature.
--Third would be two noted games that are significant preferably
still being played today in some sort of way.
--And last in each section would be profiles, background
information, and interviews with significant people of that year
of accessible gaming.

[Audyssey] An Idea for a Project

2008-03-09 Thread kelby carlson
Dear List,

This is only an idea, but I'd really like input on this as it
might end up involving the whole community's efforts. I am
thinking how cool it would be if the community began an online
book that would basically span the history of accessible games.
It would mostly be a compilation effort (probably from Audyssey),
and would include history, theory, profiles of significant
developers, and reviews of big games. People could obviously
write stuff for it that would be included. I even thought of a
title. The Sound of the Screen: The Past, Present, and Future
of Accessible Gaming, penned by the Audyssey Community. What do
you guys think of this? Maybe something we could all work on over
the summer?

Well if we pulled all the history articles from audyssey we would
have quite a load of things already pluss the inteviews.
Pluss the online sources to other things if just linked to.
I suppose we could have something that would be part of audyssey

there is just email lists.
No home page I have seen just has email lists.
Maybe some sort of wiki or just the actual book.

I'd definitely like to see STFC 2 be along something of those
lines. Sounds very enjoyable if you ask me. I'm bad at
turn-based strategy, but would probably be able to get the hang
of this easier.

Subject: [Audyssey] STFC 2 was LW sound packs?

Hi Dark,
Well, if gamers on this list are interested in a Lonewolf style
Trek
game instead of a full real time strategy game I would certainly
do it.
Making a Lonewolf style game isn't too hard to do. It is
actually
infinitly easier in the long run.
Instead of programming for 5 or 10 starships all i have to focus
on is
one ship. That would of course allow me to add more detail to
that one
ship adding more advanced features with damage control, weapons,
restocking, autopilot system, etc. In fact, now that you mention
it it
is an all around better idea.
I could in theory moddle STFC 2 around a GMA Tank Commander style
of
play where you are given your mission orders, and then you enter
some
sector of space to investigate something or stop some enemy
vessel.
However, as for a Lonewolf style mission parcer I can't really do
that.
All of my future games are going to be using pre-recorded speech
like
GTC so like GTC all missions will have to be added by the
developer and
not externally by end users. I'm sorry, but I won't pay $499 for
a
license for the Java Sapi 5 development kit just to have a
mission
parcer in a free game.
As for modding Lonewolf I would not touch that with a 10 foot
poll.
Besides the copyright violations of converting Lonewolf in to a
Trek
game the engine itself would never operate correctly even if you
did.
There are too many differences between Star Trek starships and
real
naval vessels. Wepondry being one of them.
For example, on STNG the enterprise NCC 1701-D comes equipped
with the
following armourments. The Enterprise has 13 Type-X phaser
emitters each
with 5.1 Megawatts of throughput. In addition to phasers the
Enterprise
carries a maximum of 250 photon torpedoes that may be fired in
groups of
5 to 20 per shot, or fired in single bursts. The Enterprise
carries the
standard Starfleet shield generators with a maximum output of
2026
gigawatts of resistance. Like all vessels the Enterprise caries
9 deep
space probes which may be used for reconicense operations or can
be
converted into 9 additional photon torpedoes in emergency
situations.
As you can see just by reviewing the armourment specs the
Lonewolf
submarine doesn't even come close to matching up with the
Enterprise's
true weapons. The Enterprise 1701-E seen in Startrek 8, 9, 10 is
even
more powerful since it was designed to fight the Borg.

Dark wrote:
Indeed yes Tom, I'd love a single starship commanding game, in
fact I'd
personally rather go for that than the real time stfc as well
(especially if
it was possible to have user created missions as in lw).

Obviously, even if you replaced all the lw sounds with trek
ones, the game
would stil not exactly be a trek game because of the game's
output to you,
and the game features specific to submarine combat, such as
depth charges,
surfacing, balast etc. to take a basic example, even if you
replaced the
deazel sub engine sound with a warp engine, you'd stil have your
speed
reported in nots, and stil get messages about deazel fuel etc.

i just wondered if it might be possible to both cut down the
work for you,
and take advantage of lw's great features, such as the
mission parza
and detailed movement and targiting mechanics to create a trek
game, but
somehow also rewrite the bits of gameplay that wouldn't fit on a
starship,
as well as obviously modding all the sounds.

As I said though, I'd expect monkeying about with David
greenwood's code
goes against copywrite, even if it would be easier than writing
the game
 yourself from scratch.

 Beware the Grue!

 Dark.

 Hello everyone

Okay I'm just writing this to double check on a point or two
regarding
 the
upcoming issue of the magazine. I recall we did some discussion
 previously
about the formatting. The decision was to leave out the blank
lines or
empty lines between the articles and such material. It will
then look
 like
 this

Here's to a good year in the audio gaming scene.
 +++
 Letters
 ++
 A letter from someone...

Hope I've got that part correct. Also I believe the idea of
including a
4th plus sign for new material like Chatting with Creators, or
extra
articles is worth giving a try to and see how it goes. However
I don't
think using the above in the reviews and announcement section
will be
 implemented at this time.
Another slight change to the News from developers section was
to include
the website so it would read

 News from L-works
 http://www.l-works.net
 02/17/08

 Does that work okay?
Lastly we had talked about a resource section in Audyssey. I
feel the
place should be at the end of the magazine like you would find
an index or
apendix. Assuming it stays at the back page, then comes to mind
how to
present the information. Should it be just the developer and
website
address? Perhaps mention the games or game offered at such a
site? Which
would be the most useful to you? I've no problem making such
changes to
 the
future issues but do certainly want input as this is as much for
my
 information and sharing with others.

 Thanks
 Ron

Subject: [Audyssey] Article about Interactive Fiction for Spag
magazine

Hi all,
I have emailed the editor of Spag magazine for players of
Interactive
Fiction. I got a reply, but, because of some attachments, which
I don't know
how exactly to remove because it would go over the size of
messages for the
list, I have forwarded the message to Thomas. Anyway, the point
of this
message is that Spag magazine would like an article about us as
blind
players playing interactive fiction, the next issue is coming out
in a
month's time. I am quite an amateur in IF, and still haven't
tried out many
interpreters and so on, so could someone who has more experience
then I do
with IF write the article about playing IF from a blind person's
perspective, maybe saying what interpreters don't work well, how
it's done,
I don't know, just a general thing to make people more aware of
us. There
are some things I'd like whoever writes the article to highlight,
though,
like the, if we put in that we're still having problems getting
these Pocket
Interpreters to work on the Pac Mate, maybe someone would in the
IF
community would be prepared to modify them a bit, as the Source
Code is
freely available, and maybe other issues if there are still
accessibility
problems or just anything.

[Audyssey] Announcement of a List--Blind Teen Talk

2008-01-05 Thread kelby carlson
Dear List,

A new mailing list has been created which I think may be of
interest to some of you. It is called Blind Teen Talk. It's
just a place where blind and visually impaired teens from all
around the world can come and chat about anything they like. To
access the group, just go to
http://groups.google.com/group/blind-teen-talk. Subscribe, and
talk about anything that strikes your fancy. (No cursing,
harassment, or sexual content allowed--this will get you banned
without warning.)

Raul,

I have to apologize. You're absolutely right. I sent this just
after I woke up because I wanted to get some publicity about the
list. I addressed it to a few different places--I definitely
shd've put an OT in front of it at the very least. Rest assured,
it won't happen again.

[Audyssey] A Game Idea

2007-12-31 Thread kelby carlson
Dear List,

A game idea just hit on me. This, in concept, doesn't sound like
it would be that hard to program. The idea is a Yu-Gi-Oh card
duelling game. I've never been a fan of the show, but I like the
card game. You wouldn't even need voice-actors--SAPI or JAWS
could do all the work. (Incidentally, this project sounds
something like perhaps Lighttech could be interested in.) Let me
know what you think.

2007-12-31 Thread kelby carlson
Hmm. You do have a point there. The other idea I had was a game
based on the Pokemon games. (Again--hate the show, love the
concept.) Maybe something along the lines of NetBattle for the
sighted. See, here's what you would do. You pick a six Pokemon
team, and battle the computer or others. (The exploration part
of Pokemon always annoyed me--it's the battles I find fun.) If
you wanted to make it easier on yourselves, you could restrict it
to the original 151/251 if you wanted, since there are now
something like 500.

Re: [Audyssey] A Game Idea

2007-12-31 Thread kelby carlson
I tend not to enjoy games like Elder Ages. You get the same
thing, over and over and over and over and over. The thing about
Pokemon is the strategy of pitting monster against monster.
Elder Ages has none of that. Heck, I'd be happy with a Pokemon
text game if it emulated the strategy well enough.

Re: [Audyssey] USA Raceway trailer released.

2007-11-03 Thread kelby carlson
The trailer, on a whole, sounds pretty cool. But my gosh, the
music was just ...' just ... just so inane. It sounded like I
was driving down a country lane, not racing on a track. Other
than that, though, it sounds fantastic.

Sorry? You know, I'm sorry too. I don't think a simple three-word
sentence is going to cover it. This past summer, we've had
something like four of these instances. I am tired of it. Maybe
you guys can understand why I don't post to this list. I am
seriously considering leaving; I get enough e-mail as it is
already. If you're really sorry, then you're going to at least
have to earn my trust back. I can't say anything for the rest of
you, bI think people who cause such riotous disputes need to be
reprimanded.

That stupid kid! I guess he needs to understand a little more
about pirating. He's only 11 I think. But I might have to agree
with him on one point. Many of the games out there aren't really
worth playing. Rail Racer, Judgment Day, Super Liam, Lone Wolf,
Gma Tank Commander, and some others are really worth my time, and
eventually, even most of those lose their replay value at some
point. But I don't agree with Andy that pirating games is fun.

Hey,
I just thought I would tell anyone who is reading this, that
pirating
games is fun. Though bad for the stupid game devs, who I frankly
do
not and will not care about. Besides. $33 for racing? $25.00
for a
side scroller with 7 levels? Now jd is a goodd price; I will
agree on
that with some people, but frankly not many games deserve being
payed
for. Besides; there is (no) replay value in anything! What do u
guys
thing? Should we continue pirating?

 Hi Ken.

If you don't mind me asking, what is world of darkness? an audio
game? an
interactive fiction? an early doss textual game? The only world
of
 darkness
I know is the tabletop Roleplay system produced by white wolf
publishing,
where you can play as Vampires, ware wolves, mages and things at
different
periods of history, from the roman empire to modern day. If
there's a game
somewhere based on this it'd be cool!
