Well yes games are secondary nobody is arguing that, that's not even an
issue. I mean you aren't going to make a living out of playing games.
Although it would be nice though But it's this rather stupid mentality
of oh games aren't meant for computers or blind people shouldn't be playing

Hi everyone,
As this issue comes up off list quite often I thought I'd share this

myself time after time regarding Mysteries of the Ancients and Raceway.

William,
Nope; Visit Salem is not an adventure game.
It's a travelogue of Salem, Massachusetts.
Totally inaccessible, I'm afraid.

No, I see no real hurry to replace any of my Visual Basic projects until the

The only reason I deleted the AutoIt projects was because they were not

Hi Damien,
Glad to hear you are switching to C++. I think you will be much happier
with it once you learn it. I know it can be somewhat daunting coming
from a language like Visual Basic 6, but I do beleive it is worth it in
the end. There really isn't any better language for game development in

Hi Damien,
Yeah, I don't blame you. AutoIt is crap. Might be alright for newbis,
but shouldn't b taken very serious for professional game development.

Hi Damien,
Yeah, I have the same problem here. Even though I had C++ in college and
have used it for some Linux software development once I began using C#
.NET for game development it is hard to go back to C++. Although, one of
my projects, USA Raceway, is actually being written in C++, and jus
Hi Nick and all,
Well, when it comes to the programming part obviously you get better,
make less mistakes, the more you do it. The longer you've been
programming the less bugs, mistakes, etc you will make from the
beginning. However, this by no means a good developer doesn't make
mistakes and

Hi,
Oh, I really know what you mean. I started programming games myself, and
yeah, sometimes its really hard to find bugs. And, even I didn't find all of
them. People who played the games reported them to me, otherwise I wouldn't
have noticed, kind of weird, but yeah.

Hi,
I fully understand, you can't spend all day on the computer programming
games. Also I know that sounds are damned expencive. I can wait. While I
wait I can make a bit of money somehow to purchase that game. *laughs*
You can take every break you need to finnish off this thing.
