Hello Russel,
Thanks for quick response.
The volume that caused IEC507D issued is indeed CA1 managed,see below:

Victor,
When HSM creates a tape, it puts an expiration date of 99/365 in the HDR1 of
the tape. This is the expiration date that the operating system looks at
when making the determination to issue the IEC507D or not. CA-1 will then
automatically respond to the IEC507D for a CA-1 controlled volume
Hello list,
I have a question regarding IEC507D:
I am using HSM and CA1, and the tape volumes used by HSM is protectd
by expiration date, and when HSM thinks the contents of a tape
volume is expired,it will notify CA1 via an exit similar to the exit
used by RMM interface with HSM.

Thanks for the response, Timothy. I've read that book cover to cover but
it doesn't seem to answer my question: are the physical PCICC coprocessors
available to a linux guest running in an IFL?

GRS maintains, in the GRS vector table (GVT), a threshold value
for unauthorized callers in GVTCREQ (the default is 4096) and
a threshold value for authorized callers in GVTCREQA (the default
is 30,000). These thresholds are in the nucleus.

DFSMSHSM PROC CMD=00,
EMERG=NO,
LOGSW=YES,
Sorry for my lack of precision.
Of course I was interested in an alternative to:
