I'm playing with the MCSOPER and MCSOPMSG macros and no matter what I do, I
can't seem to get MLWTO messages to be seen by the interface. Am I missing
something or does MCS not see the MLWTO messages at all?
All I seem to get is the first message of the MLWTO with no indication telling

longer have with the newer method. There appears to be no good reason
/etc/security and /iked.conf are both part of Internet Key Exchange
Daemon(IKED), which was changed in z/OS 2.2, and 2.3, I don't think there were
changes in 2.4 or 2.5

You're incorrect, you don't need a coupling facility to share PDS/e, you can
(and I do at several sites) use FICON CTC's just as well, and in fact it's a
lot cheaper, (unless you already have a coupling facility installed in which
case it would be silly to not use it).

I think that you are missing the fact that you can VERY easily add GRS ring via
a couple of really inexpensive FICON cards. You may already even have them
just sitting there unused on your processor. In any case, you can buy them
even on eBay now for next to nothing.

There are some valid reasons to deactivate "some" of the heath checks, but most
of them are there for a very good reason. It is not going to hurt to have them
there, the overhead to produce them is quite small, and you will be happy you
have some of them from time to time.

We had a client request that we send console information from our SyzMPF/z
(console automation) product to a twitter feed, and we did it for them. But
since that time (in 2018) no one has requested it again. It's a simple
combination of sending a SMS text message to a simple IFFFT process.

Yes, in fact, when you install maintenance, you should always re-assemble your
exits, but specifically, you have to do 00, 08, 10, 11, 12, 13 and 25. You
don't have to redo exits that you don't use.
Also, you will need to re-assemble your DRS and VSV exits, if you run them.
