I have my zPDT runniing on Centos box with DROPBOX installed. so a
recompiled version agent might run under USS and a simple OCOPY to shared
library might do the job. I would use it if possible.

Just my two cents... there are many reasons why a supported and updated version
is important, and why mainframe is just an other (big, complex) server in the
computer room.
Linux on z: servers that were located in DMZ, now running on z usually without
fw ("because it slows communication").

If to summerise this issue, submit is the only way to do jcl check. As for
the security check, dynalloc is not helpfull. Security checks should be at
the level required by the application (according to open attributes). This
is not a problem once jcl was fully converted.

To summerise rob's and Walt's argument, the security applied to apf panel
in sdsf was a mistake and i believe ibm will remove it in next release...
You can't hold the stick from both sides.
