There are quite a few nice ones on there.
Now if only they could develop a proper Afrikaans one I'll make sure
they
win the nobel prize!!

Hi André,
In the JAWS Dictionary, Default, , you could try: reg , and replace with
r e g . Then Save. The replacement is the pronunciation that JAWS will
make the synth speak. You can also change an entry in the duictionaryif
you find the speaking of it unsatisfactory. not very elegant, I know;

This may (and I would emphasize *may* for the moment) be one part of the
two-step verification process that yahoo! et al. use to ensure that you
are who you say you are. What is supposed to happen there is that they
send an SMS text to your mobile phone (the number of which you would
have
a
yahoo mail account?

] yahoo mail verification
I don't like depending on people doing things for me, but this I'll do.
obviously yahoo mail isn't totally screen reader friendly. every other
site
that I've registered for, had an audio captcha

I think that yahoo does have an audio CAPTCHA. Do you mean some other
service, like pop3 with yahoo mail? if so, I don't know about
account, did the audio captcha, so
account went through. as I put in my original post, it asks for
varification to send my first email, but there was no audio link to
hear the captcha

Hi,
Using JAWS13 on WindowsXp.
How do I disable this updating Skype command announcement and key? I
chose the letter s. I enabled it in the Quick Settings dialog in Skype -
Insert+v, for what I hoped would be a trial run. but now, any time I'm
in Skype, i.e., have it in focus, updating Skype
a way to undo the actual Skype command key I made, the letter s.
is there?
