Hi
My excel files that I get as attachments do not seem to open when I press
enter on them so I have to save them in a different location before opening.
Excel trust center options are set to not open email attachments in
protected view.
Anyone have a solution?

Because of its high vulnerability to hacker attacks, I uninstalled JRE from
my XP system some time ago, which did not affect the performance of Adobe
Reader in any way. So I don't think installing JRE will resolve your
problem with Adobe Reader, and it could make your system less secure.

The absence of JRE may not ordinarily affect the performance of Adobe
Reader, but Adobe Reader may work in conjunction with other applications
such as online learning courseware that require JRE. That is why I must
maintain JRE on my systems.
