lacemakers recorded on one of the census returns in the next village,
Toseland, (a tiny hamlet really), but not in mine, Yelling, 3 miles further
east. Both were classic small agricultural villages. I shall see if I can find

to the Amazon databases and will download all the relevant information from
reading the barcode. There is a demo version available to try out before you
buy, I've been very pleased with it so far.

Today we were very lucky at our lace meeting as we had a few of the
albums of the lace luggage labels that were made for The Lace Guild.
It was lovely to see such a variety of lace all in one place. Some very

I found in an old Lace Magazine number 122 from April 2006 three
are in the Chat family, much smaller and
territorial (very), they are closer to nightingales, more like a sparrow size.
They are the iconic bird for the snowy scene Christmas cards - maybe a useful

trials, as well as the text from the front and back cover

be, unpin partway and keep going around and around. this ruffles very well
and I think would hold a spiral better than a straight piece.

are not expensive. I got mine at Michaels - a USA
nationwide company that sells all types of craft things. The kits come with
several tips. I mostly use the sharp tip of the pointy one.
