Recentely i had the same problem with embedded fonts, they appear as ragged when you use it, especially if you use color, but just changing the antialiasing of the fonts in the property inspector to a really tiny size did the trick in most cases. Somnetimes what i had to do was use background

This is the kind of job the i´ve been doing for the past two years and using Director The point is, it´s not quite as simple as it looks, especially regarding documents in MS Word format. you should convert them to RTF first and even then youll have to do some arrangement directily in Director.

First. Sure you can protect your cst files. It works exactly like the dir files. Same procedure for both. Regarding your linking problem maybe the problem is that the casts are not linked to the dir file. The easiest way to dothis is to throw any of the cast members you want to link into the

yes you can set the alpha to invert or not oçinvert but i think it works only with bitmaps. The lingo command, if im not mistaken is mypicture.image.alphainvert=true or something like it. i don´t remember i exactly right now and dont have the lingo dictionary at hand at the moment. ill post to you

If what you want to know is how a color expresses itself as RGB values it is very esay. You select the color you want and the palettes in Director show you its RGB values. You put myobject.color=rgb(red value, green value, blue value) and that´s it. Is this what you were looking for? Diego -

YES, that is right. Director 8.0 won´t work with QT 6.3. By the way. Why are you using a .mov on a win platform? Why not just using a win media player file or an .avi? It´s much better for compatibility and itwon´t affect quality so much. You can even use DIVX if you want. AFAIK DIVX causes
