something more around there is nothing i think.

I try to use aspell and get the following info:
Spellchecking failed
/usr/lib/aspell/ngerman can not be opened for reading.
I thought to put a soft link in the texmf directory of my home.
ln -s ngerman /usr/lib/aspell/ngerman
ln: Erzeugen der symbolischen Verknpfung /usr/lib

Preferences-Language-Spellchecker-alternative Language?
(the aspell dictionary is called german afair, also for new spellling).
