Normally if you load your lyx file and there is an emergency file it
tells you and if you agree it loads it. You are than asked whether you

Yes, the problem has been fixed in KDE 4.0.1, which was released some days
ago.
So try to grab a KDE 4 update.

I have written a document containing images in eps. Now, mysteriously,
when I try to open the same document lyx crash. I have isolated the
problem and I can recreate without problems, I create a new document,
add image, I choose a file in eps format and confirm. During the

I can confirm that, using the 1.4.1 update coming from Extras those problems
are gone.

Hi all
I've just tried to load my LyX thesis documents on my new FC5 system.
Scrolling down through a document that I was working on last week with
FC4, LyX crashes with a segfault. The document contains PNG images,
formulae and I think an EPSI image. I performed a reconfigure but it
still happens
