I have read in previous posts GM compressors will work. Is there an part # I
need? I am putting an order together for Rusty, is this an item he could
supply or am I better off buying local?

removed the AC compressor and mount.

door. One was broken off and unplugged. I replaced I get it get a constant
buzz, which is probably why it was busted off. Is the warning module
located next to Cruise Control Amplifier in the driver footwell?

On the bright side, I live in an area that does respond to non-violent
crimes. My 1981 300SD was stolen from my front yard at 1 a.m. last year by
a couple of 14 year olds. At 3 a.m. the County Sheriff Patrol and City
Police woke me up to say they had found my
1983 240D - is there a way to test the Cruise Control Actuator. I installed an
new, rebuilt amplifier from Rusty and I am still having problems. It engages
but acts like the actuator doesn't have the strength to accelerate. If I help
it along gently with on the accelerator it works fine. I

The plug wire thing happened on my 1978 MGB. Last spring when I took
it out of storage it was missing something fierce. I thought i had a
fouled plug, stuck valve, or bad cylinder. After much fooling around
I switched the plug wire and it has been working great ever since.
