NAPA (at least here) has M1 on sale for $5.79/qt until the end of the month. No jugs, but I found some 15w-50. Our local evil W mart doesn't seem to have 15w-50 in jugs anymore either. FWIW Dwight Dwight E. Giles, Jr. 1978 240D 4 speed. 218K + miles. 1990 300D 2.5t 182K miles.

I am going to change the auto trans fluid on a 1983 240D. This list seems to recommend Mobil 1 fluid. I can only find Mobile 1 Mercon. Is it alright to use in this tranny or should I stick with the regular fluid? If not can you recommend what I should use. The tranny is shifting rough lately
