You hardly know how the Pentax mount works, what makes you think you know anything about the Nikon one? The N80 may not meter ambient light with MF lenses, but does with TTL flash and can perfectly control (stop down the aperture) a MF lens in manual mode. Go back to mindlessly waving the Pentax
