Remember that a 645 weighs as much as an f5 or EOS-1v HS. Actually someone
mention that an f5 with a 28-70 f2.8 weight MORE than a 645 with the new
33-55 55-110 lenses. Why should a 35mm slr weigh so much?

regarding some problems I've had w/ it) and actually, the camera
feels really nice in my hands w/ the drive. I actually prefer
handling the camera this way- the camera w/o the drive feels a
bit too small and unwieldy with a telephoto on

deal is about that- I prefer to turn a ring on the lens barrel,
I guess.
How about upgrading the MZ-S to 4.5-5.0 fps drive? Does this camera
show all exposure info in the viewfinder- aperture, shutter speed,

Maybe the first and last one. I don't know about 44-88mm, as most of
that is covered by the 43, various 50s and the 77. Standard-length zooms
don't really grab me anyway.

the saturation a bit, the film (Fujichrome ms 100/1000)
seems a little to saturated at ISO 100 which is what I shot
it at. Lack of grain and sharpness is excellent, which
is much better than 35mm
Lauder's Scotch Whiskey comes in green plastic 1/2 gallon bottles. And
it's priced at just twenty bucks for the half gallon. It's actually
quite good: tastes a lot like Dewars White Label. And the bottles are
great for darkroom chemicals. Of course, the accordian chemical bottles

Just wanted to make sure you understood it to be a Pentax problem, not
a problem with all autowind cameras. At least the MZ-S has a function
where you can tell it to not rewind when a roll is complete. Then you
can wait or muffle the sound and then start the rewind process.
