battery 2 with the AF400T on Auto-Red. I use a Lumiquest Ultra Soft
Bounce that sucks up about 2 1/2- 3 stops of light, but does a very
good job of diffusing. But it put a big drain on the battery with

Yes, I used the E-1 and the 14-54 lens. I am very impressed with these
2 bits of kit - they feel very robust and trustworthy. The camera is

This is an example of where splitting the frame with the horizon
resulted in a nice composition. I like the gentle curve of the shore
and the calm water in the lower half juxtaposed against the angry sky.

The 285HVs do not have built in slave triggers. But the Wein peanuts
can plug straight into the socket in the flash's foot. So I've heard

abandon it. If Pentax can introduce a moderately priced ($5000 or
less) 32 megapixel 645, they will have a real winner on their hands.
