Been using ipeng and in general works great! Love it.
I use tailscale for vpn.
Today, while out of the house on cellular wanted to play some music.
Ipeng finds the server over the tailscale vpn and I am able to control
players that are on the home wifi.

We haven't seen any updates on iPeng since quite some time. iPeng is

Thanks. I'm not that impressed by ipeng If only there was a
standalone material app which by far is the best controller yet.
I save a Material link to the home screen. It then behaves like an app,
eg. no browser window around it etc.

Recently, iPeng is not displaying the artwork (folder.jpg) for my DSD
files properly.
What happen is that iPeng will display the same random artwork for all
DSD files. (the rest of the files types are displayed correctly).

I have several SB3 players in the house, and I have two synchronised
players (kitchen and lounge). Anything I play on one, plays on the
other. This has all worked really well for the last 15 or so years. No

and you should try this.
Few additional comments:
- IPeng playback doesn't recompress anything (it's more of less
bitperfect up to 96khz) and the player is quite good compared to other
"audiophile" iOS music app

No. SB3 has no USB out.

I did say earlier that I used to use this config with iPeng on my
iPhone.
What I use now is a Pi Zero Velcrod to a Powerbank with the Audioquest
Dragonfly but controlled by Material on my iPhone.
Why did I move away from iPeng on the iPhone?

Depends what you mean by good enough. Should work ok but youll get
better audio by using a Lightning to USB cable (Apple Camera Converter)
and an Audioquest Dragonfly. I used to use this config with my B P7s.
iPeng via the Dragonfly supports up to 24/96.
I have also used other portable USB
I'm thinking of getting some headphones to use for LMS, and I'm looking
into iPeng's Playback facility to do this. (This is the iPeng add-on
that effectively turns an iPhone or iPad into an LMS/Squeezebox

Enjoying iPeng tremendously and I saw someone mentioned controlling it
with "hey Siri". I have that working if iPeng is "active"...but if I do
the "hey Siri play music" command, iPeng doesn't show up
Using iPeng on iOS 15, I don't have lock screen controls. Unlike every
other audio app I use, the lock screen is usually blank when I am
playing something to a Squeezebox device from iPeng using my
iPhone/iPad.
I think I get them briefly after interacting with iPeng, but they don't
last long.

seem to be stuck on the MultiPlayer Control screen in iPeng.

is not done. It is when using the Browse on Spotify menu using the
Spotty plug-in. This is a very interesting feature because, LMS works
using all the Spotify library.

No, currently not.
You should still be able to play 192kHz material through iPeng as long
as you allow the server to transcode it (that works by default), but
iPeng's output will be
