Al - no, I haven't used it. I did, however, stumble across it last night, and thought to ask others here if they'd used it. Emphasis on the word 'stumble'. It was a late night for me, bleary-eyed to sleep, bleary-eyed to wake. Seems the same q was posed on foxite 2 years ago, Andy Kramek said

To Peter Hart - EEKK - thats the old 'dos set' problem, imo. when ya 'click on the beast' - it's gonna try to find a vfp runtime module. IMO, the easiest thing to do would be to get the run time modules install kits over at wOOdy's corporate website (see

I take a different approach to testing apps on a new(ish) OS, that , when done, leaves a total blueprint of that OS's internal calls with any app that I'm testing. I switched over to this technique late in 1999, and never looked back. I can understand the gripe and moan philosophy, but if I

if you want to get it into excel, why not get it to a dbf file first? take a look at systables and syscolumns in help file. thenmake a quickie one off with this... odbc connect to db systables call, copy to table scan on output of systables pipe the table name into a syscolumns call, save the

Michael - re: the name change. It's very common for the name change to be listed inside of the divorce decree, you don't have to wait for any new marriage thing to take effect with her. If there's not the name change inside of the decree already, you have time to have that bit added in. Also,

Does it have to be intel based? There's loads of Sun gear gathering dust - quad processors, scsi subsystems, raid and all that. You can even get almost free licensing for up to 5 users, or pay for more seats.. If you don't like Sun, hey - IBM has some decent gear too. My only caveat is that

EPS makes a lot of $$ in the Dot Something Arena, but apparently wants to do more work converting VFP apps to Dot Something Apps. Having Ken on Board makes sense, at least for them, as he has loads of contacts in the VFP world. From a marketing and $$ standpoint, it makes a lot of sense. I
