   - Under managerial direction, the Data warehouse Developer will work
   within the Business Intelligence support team to design, develop, test,

   SQL Server.

   warehouse platform which will assist with data warehouse modifications to
   meet customer requirements.
   - Candidate must be capable of managing multiple tasks and development
   efforts simultaneously, be a self-starter, and capable of taking ideas
   through to implementation.

*Responsibilities:*

   - SQL Server Data warehouse development
   - Participate in the design, build, release and deployment procedures
   - Develop and maintain reporting solutions

*Provide technical development for SQL Server suite of tools:*

   - Maintain ongoing functionality of SQL Server and hardware environments
   - Perform problem assessment, resolution and documentation
   - Validate data returned in all reports, provide a detailed analysis of
   data, and identify data quality issues
   - Tune SQL performance and efficiency
   - Create ad-hoc reports as requested
   - Document new development, procedures, or test plans as needed
   - Provide production support as well as monitor the business
   intelligence support queue to resolve data issues in a timely manner.
   - This position also requires the person to be on-call for production
   support based on rotation policy.

*Skills & Experience:*

   - 5+ years of core SQL Server development with progressive experience.
  - SSIS developer for pulling data from different data sources
  - Excellent T-SQL knowledge
  - Performance tuning and optimization using SQL Server
  - Expert in writing stored procedures, functions, triggers etc.
   - Excellent communication skills
   - Must be familiar with SDLC and documentation

processes, and translates them into functional and non-functional

• Provides expertise and guidance to other developers in the use of the
toolset

• Performs other duties as assigned or apparent



Requirements

• BS Degree CS or MIS or equivalent experience in related roles

• 5+ years of experience delivering solutions utilizing the entire
Microsoft BI stack (SSAS, SSIS)

• 5+ years of experience with SQL Server/T-SQL programming in creation and
optimization of stored procedures, triggers and user defined functions

• 5+ years of Microsoft SQL Server database development (TSQL) experience

Advanced Degree in BI/Analytics technical discipline or equivalent work

Windows operating systems. Working knowledge of Teradata, Vertica, Oracle 
SQL Server.



Duties/Experience:

This person would start off working with the KieTrac Team (Operational
Controls and Compliance) along with an existing SSRS developer we have
contracted and furthermore the Reporting and Analytics Team. The role will
need to have full competency in the Microsoft BI Stack including SSRS,

They’ll primarily focus on ODS, MDM, ETL and BI Development for KieTrac
data to improve our data quality and structure for various reporting needs.
My client generally uses SSRS for reporting and Tableau (multidimensional
experience is fine too) for Adhoc analysis. There is also a need to improve
and/or implement data security on this data set. This person will provide
support initially to the KieTrac project but this may also expand in to
other areas with similar needs sooner.



They will be paired with a BA and an employee developer to knock out a
bunch of work that has recently come up. They would be expected to be the
more senior developers.
