Experience with MSVSS for defect tracking and communication *Sr. Level Performance Tester required to :* Develop and execute automated test scripts for performance testing, including end-to-end performance testing. Evaluate and assist in selecting performance/load tool. Analyze non-functional performance requirements and SLAs, and develop execute appropriate test scripts to ensure the application and integrating systems perform to the expected specifications. Gather statistical data and gain an understanding of the system’s architecture. Comfortable in installing, configuring, maintaining and administering the performance testing tool. Validate and verify quality attributes of the system, such as scalability, reliability and resource usage, among other parameters. Establish, implement and operate a Performance Testing process that follows a methodology to coordinate, plan, execute, and document the results of required testing activities. Develop and maintain test procedures, and test reports. Initiate and set up performance monitoring process. Develop recommendations to improve system performance based on analysis findings. Research, recommend and implement a technical performance testing strategy that significantly reduces the performance testing time while providing a clear assessment of the risk to the project introduced by system updates. At least 5 years of automated test script development experience; experience with at least one automated tool or freeware. Previous development experience. Moderate SQL scripting experience. Solid experience in scripting using an automated tool. Expertise on Microsoft Windows, network configuration, software installation, and performance profiling. Experience with database designs and interfaces between systems. Working knowledge of recognized quality standards on Information Technology projects. Familiar with Java, Silverlight, HTML5 interface, user profiles and workflows. Demonstrate strong independent problem solving, troubleshooting, analytical and conceptual skills, and be able to manage multiple tasks and meet scheduled dates. Excellent oral and written communication skills, including demonstrated ability to conceptualize, write and deploy written processes and procedures in a collaborative environment.
