I have an intermittent problem sending emails. About 1/3 of the time,
the connection center indicates that the message TEXT was sent, then
hangs for a long time, and finally times out giving a message that the
email was not sent. The other 2/3 of the time, it sends just fine.

The same problem happend here too. To circumvent this, you must disable the automatic
mailchacking and for one time check the mail via the icons in the toolbar (only one
accout at a time).
After that, all should work correct again.

When redirecting a message, the original From: is retained, so no

Confirmed here, exactly the same symptoms, but it happens not only after
returning from hibernation but also after returning from suspend to ram.
Most of the time it goes back to normal after a while (about 3 minutes),
but a reboot helps instantly.

accounts for mail. So all it really does is check POP3 mailboxes and

available and which aren't. Anyway, just a wild guess, I must admit.

and in the
forums on that site, the forum admin (Dieter Hummel?) spoke about a
release in Q1 2002.
The feature set was described as most of what is currently in the 1.54
beta series (anti virus, new HTML engine, SSL, common folders) and a
HTML enabled editor.
