Yup, always check ground. I had a fuel gauge that drove me crazy for most of
last season. Sure enough, loose ground. So simple and all that frustration.
Coulda kicked myself.

Bob,
In your experience, is varnish smoother than Sikkins Cetol Gloss? It's
possible the PO used varnish.
I've had some areas I've had to remove all the finish and start over with
bare wood. In those areas, I'm applying 3-4 coats of Cetol Marine (amber
tone) or Cetol Light (gold tone)
I've not heard of that happening with Cetol. But I'm just a newbie with
Cetol, so I can't say much with authority. I'll try to update this post with
what I learn re: Cetol as I gain more experience.

Can someone explain how fuel is routed between the four tanks of a Uniflite

and two master tanks aft of 182 gallons each. I notice on the fuel gauge the
saddle tanks rise and fall as fuel is consumed. That is, the forward

Frank,
This leak didn'tseem to be coming from the edges, either. The wet spots were in
the middle of the floor. Under the carpet is a foam liner. It was totally
