I updated my server from 773 (stable) to 780nightly the other day . I
installed the new .deb over the old one. (Didn't purge the old one)
The server installation ran smooth. No problems.
What made me suspicious was that my Touch wouldn't update automatically.

finds the server. But does not manage to get connected to the db.

I'm not running pulseaudio.
Some quick findings:
1. -z daemonize doesn't seem to work, app stays in the foreground
2. -n doesn't
Just figured if I use e.g. -r 96000, native SR is played back. -r needs
to be set to avoid resampling of the server.
My EMU 0404 though needs manual samplerate adjustment via alsamixer. I
use hw as interface.
If I do not adjust the SR manually with alsamixer before starting
playback of a track

Application: I could do stereo streaming and go multichannel to a

I made it also work on the Touch. I do think squeezelite performs
extremely well on the Touch. For sure better then squeezslave.
Though I really had to reshuffle my setup. I couldn't make much use of
my Toolbox settings.
I ran into xruns and other weired behaviour at every corner. So,

I figured out a weired thing on the Touch running SL.
I can get the Alsa buffer down to 6ms, IF periods are set to 4.
At a period setting of 2 though, at a much higher buffertime e.g. 128ms,
playback gets messed up.
Below line works quite good with 44.1/24. (96/24 needs higher buffer

purposes.
It allows to assign SCHED_FIFO and priorities to the stream,decode and

TXRX=hw:0,0 -- is just an alias. You can use simple Alsa soundcard
indexes (hw:0,0, plughw:1,0 etc. ) with squeezelite, even though they
are not shown with squeezlite -l.

On my 64bit server the 32bit binaries (flac,sox, etc.) as supplied by
Logitech won't work.
That's why I need to replace those binaries everytime I reinstall a
server.
Obviously flac is being used for decoding flac2pcm. SL didn't receive
any data

My amp controller (STM STA320) accepts 192 and 176.4, though samples

Somehow the -u option is missing when running squeezelite -h . ( I
installed libsox-dev btw. Not sure though if this is required)

Could you try eg. -b 10:10?
I use this setting for full file buffering to avoid any network
streaming during playback. This setting causes a pretty high load during
the first couple of seconds.
-p 70 : Is there any other process with elevated prios with
picoreplayer? Try ps -eo
to run in full-file-buffer mode.
And lets stop the guessing. I'll also do a bit of debugging. ;)

On Jessie ARM you won't make LMS work due to Perl incompatibility. (
Some people managed to manually compile LMS on Jessy though)
I also made it work using perlbrew.

Automatic installation using the Cubitruck-image failed twice.
The first phase looked OK.
But the device never really booted properly afterwards.
Can't ssh into it. Nothing. Leds just stall.

IMO CT is the better choice. 2GB RAM, NAND (You can skip the SD Card),
Sata, only more expensive HummingBoard-i2eX comes close to the CT.
I wouldn't swap my CT against Humminboard/WandBoard/Udoo.

Beside that apps like minidlna,ecasound asf asf are available in
standard DEBIAN repos. Debian on ARM gives you much more flexibility.

problems in my setup - blue led always on.
A small one: Triode could you rename script.cmd to script.bin.fex ?
Looks a bit nicer to me. It matches the sunxi terminology
