Hi Triode. Gotta question around the -m option. Do I need to set it manually? to apply a uniqe ID to the player?? Why don't you read the MAC out automatically from: cat /sys/class/net/eth0/address Thx Cheers ::: ' Touch Toolbox and more' (http://soundcheck-audio.blogspot.com

Re: [SlimDevices: Unix] any issues with LMS 7.8.x or 7.9.x on Debian Wheezy (x86)?

. On Jessie ARM you won't make LMS work due to Perl incompatibility. ( Some people managed to manually compile LMS on Jessy though) I also made it work using perlbrew. Good luck. Cheers ::: ' Touch Toolbox and more' (http://soundcheck-audio.blogspot.com) ::: by soundcheck

Another one. netctl start eth0 times out on getting a dhcp lease. (netctl status eth0) Obviously that's the root cause why soa-firstboot fails. soa-firstboot should check if the network is up'n running first. Cheers ::: ' Touch Toolbox and more' (http://soundcheck-audio.blogspot.com
