I have just updated my Mac mini with the latest update for os x (including
itunes 12.2) and I have enabled iCloud music library, as I had already done on
my iPhone 5s. On my iPhone I was prompted whether I wanted to merge my iPhone
device music or not. On my Mac, no such choice was given
One of the things that Apple music touts is the ability to in addition to
having the huge iTunes music catalog at your disposal, also, apparently being
able to have your entire icloud music library too. I've found a loophole in
this, and wanna know if it's me, or if I'm doing something wrong

you to a list of apps where you can turn the apps on/off that you want
to backup to iCloud.

Don't know about Handoff, but generally, your Apple ID is also your iCloud
account. You cannot use your iCloud Mail address as your Apple ID.

conversations as some of the conversations had pictures and videos in them.

According to Apple photos do get backed up, but I still think it would be safer
if he also turned on Photostream to upload his pictures to his iCloud account.

All, my friend in another state is going to be upgrading soon from the 4S to a
6 or 6Plus; he does not have a PC, does not use iTunes, is not a techie so
doesn’t have dropbox, etc.
Will pictures and videos be saved to the cloud; if so, are there any steps I
