Also, when my iPhone updated to 13.7, I had to turn my screen
brightness to 0, and also turn off screen time. This really helped me
save some of my iPhone's battery.

If the battery drain continues after more than a few days, I'd contact Apple
Accessibility.
It is normal after an update to see some extra battery drain while the phone
indexes itself in the background.
But after a few days, it should go back to normal.
I'd call Apple Accessibility and have them
If you notice significant battery drain, you can try putting the phone in low
power mode while listening. You can do this through settings or with seri by
asking seri to turn on low power mode. You can turn it off again by telling
seri to turn off low power mode.
I have done this with apps
I haven't noticed any significant battery drain when listening to BARD
books. I usually play the book in the app with the phone unlocked.
I've got Bluetooth on and use other apps that use more battery power
than the BARD Mobile app. I would agree with Richard if you notice a
huge drain in battery.
I have no problem with battery drain because I press the side switch or power
button and let it play in the background, which is the suggested approach for
any audio if you don’t want the battery to drain.
You can get 6 or 8 times the battery life if you are listening while the phone
is locked.

Have you turned off screen time as well? With this on, your phone will log how

Bluetooth is not on. Auto brightness is off. I'll have to check on handoff,
